Solo Blog Idea

I keep see blogs from cities or footbag clubs where lots of people post about there sessions in them and I got to think. Why don't we solo players get together and post in one blog. Start our own little club that can encourage each and stuff right in that one blog.

I don't know, maybe it's a stupid idea and it's better to just read each person's blog.

If you like this idea, let me know and I'll set it up. If not, may this thread sink down into the darkness of .in

Are you saying like a blog for people who are the only person in their area who shreds?

i think he means a blog for everyone who dosent have someone else to play with (solo shredders).

that way, all the lonely boys and girls can prop each other. (ill be posting there...)

I was thinking either one of those. People who don't have anyone else to play with. I'm glad I'm getting some comments on this. I think I'll set it up if we get one more person who says they will post in it.

Hm,

I found an online footbag club for the whole german speaking area.

The site runs on a weblog software called wordpress and we try to do something for footbag and for ourselves by connectiong each others ( we are/ were solo shredders too.) I was not sure of you mean a blog on modified or a blog on the internet.

Maybe you should consider to found rather a club than "only" a blog.
I mean you can found a club with players who do not live in the same area that is not the problem imo.

I am pretty sure this could work ( there are tons of english speaking solo shredders at modified and/or f.org).

Then you could found a blog at modified for the club

Jochen,

the idea of this being a club crossed my mind and that's sorta the atmosphere I want the blog to have. At this time, however, I am only talking about a blog on Modified. Maybe it will grow into something more.

This sounds like a pretty good idea. It would be cool for someone like me because I don't really get responses in my blog and I don't usually respond to anyone elses because I don't know anyone. I could see a solo players blog change that and allow a lot of players to "meet" other players they may not have otherwise.

I like the idea of a solo blog since most the time I play alone. We could also post vids of our progression by ourselves and it could help motivate other solo shredders.
