Well... I've seen that these new shoes are very similar to lavers.. I'm sure that these shoes are as good as lavers, but I think that every player is used to play with a specifical shoes.
I'm used wear lavers and I haven't tried g units or these quantum..and I'm not saying that they are bad shoes, but I'm a little esceptic of trying new shoes because I'm not so sure that for me they would work as well as lavers...
I'm full of self-confidence when I shred on lavers, but with a new shoe... :? :? I don't know

I belive that every shredder should play with the equipment that works better for his/her play...

I have looked forward to this day for a long time: a self-sufficient sport.

Stop the negative speculation. It brings nothing but unfounded fear and suspicion.

Yeah I think it's clearly a good thing and also I really can't understand why people are so nasty about an issue like this - those people should consider what their comments make people think of them.

Anyway I had a couple of questions I was wondering if people who know could answer...

What is the toe box like and how are the shoes laced? Basically is it like an open lavers with something like the Kenny Shults toe mod and lacing or is it more like lavers with the toe walls cut off and normal lacing? I usually play with the toe walls cut off but when I played with them on it was... fine. However I really dislike the Shults style of lacing - I prefer the added support of having my shoes tied well and tightly.

I've just said that I DON'T KNOW if they will work FOR ME but I'm talkin about me.. I'm sure that these shoes would be great for other players.. maybe for me too.. but I haven't tried them...
If I would have the opportunity, 4 sure I will try them..

I'M ONLY SAYING THAT MAYBE AND JUST MAYBE, THESE SHOES WOULDN'T WORK AS WELL AS LAVERS FOR ME!!!!!

That is called 'stating the obvious'. No one knows if the shoes will work for them yet. Though I'm hoping yes! *We see that they work for Vasek, but like Dave was saying he (Vasek) could do those moves in combat boots.

I'm on the bandwagon with most peeps in saying that I'm on the verge of tears of joy for the fact that footbag shoes are coming out. This is HUGE for the legitimacy of footbag. **Even if I never wear them, I'll be so happy when footbag shoes are finally sold in STORES! :o :D

*Talking about Dave mentioning how Vasek could hit that stuff in some other type of shoes, the combat boots was obviously an exaggeration.

**Not saying these will be sold in stores right away, but having footbag shoes out there means the possibility of it one day happening.
