why didn't anyone tell me that whirls accompany knee-pain
didn't footed it, although i was pretty close.
Today we had a visitor from wiesbaden, his name's justin if i'm remembering him right. maybe he'll come more often to train (lives in wiesbaden).
Great Training with Phipson AND (!) Music!
I hit Nagellam on left - flipside. Pretty curious for me, because my flip pixie is totally crap, but fairy feels so easy, not to mention my strongside

So looking forward to Monday, maybe I'll stick to my concept to train some dlo's, ducks and double switches.

I wasted a lot of time to whirl in the wrong manner - the result was blurry whirl after many many tries with pain.

Now I am not even close to blurry whirl but I got no pain and I know that if I dial this correct execution of the trick I will hit blurry whirls without pain consecutively.

Just a reminder there are tricks which you should not try over and over if you feel pain. This can make you stop shredding . I think whirl is one of these tricks.

Just my two cents.

woah, gotta wipe the dust off of my good ol' blog.

long time no see, well, I was cut off from the outside world due to Massive Learning for my written Exams + Rest of School combined with my stupid Provider = this :D

STILL! this didn't keep me from shredding.

I went to Train on a regular basis, still i can only remember todays session.
hit more and more whirls, dropped on bsos tho and w/out combo
hit Sidewalk bsos first try
hit paste strongside, didn't ever try that until today
can do atomsmasher and eggplant in one run
need to work on fairy!!!
stepping is a matter of training
pincher is funny, maybe a nice idea for a routine
speaking of routines, if I'll hit euros (depending on monday the 22nd on which i receive the grades of my written exams (abitur)) I should start train a routine!!! Gotta do that for worlds though anyway 8)

TinTin (who is also known as "Der Leichtfüßige" since he judged at SwissChamps 2 weeks ago) is off the hook again, his dynos are getting better, although he refuses on training swirls, concentrating to hit whirling swirls :)

so much for 4am on this saturday

woah, lozan behind me, first oral exam (german) behind me, slowly feeling something like freedom.

i will not write much about euros, got so mixed feelings about that tournament and i believe that i'd regret writing some of the stuff down that lingers in my mind currently.
still: loved to see all the faces and friends again. played some circles with jochen daryl. big up french crew. haha, just gotta think about the project yves is doing, taking pictures of people who could be relatives, funny indeed and a nice idea too :)

_______

2nd (and last!) oral exam on tuesday, 13th of June.
Worlds are about to begin in something like a month

Had a session on my own today.
footed fairy mirage one side, tried to make the set a little more solid, but i feel i failed on that term *haha*
pixie ss mirage>legover>pixie ss mirage>smear>legover>smear
did ducking clipper somehow bsos, but this doesn't count, for it was a) slurry and b)i still don't really understand this :D
forgot how to do whirls completely

i will get myself a pf-footfighter and change some filler from my ilja into my jochen to make em both more playable.

so long, so far.

geez, temperature is off the hook, air is so stuffy currently (@30°C). as all the other frankfurt players are playing net (if they're playing at all) i'm all on my own. it's a new experience to me as i'm actually used to play in circles.

infinity x 15
atomsmasher bsos twice but THE
stuck on fairy and stepping (bla, i want to improve these sets, but i fail all the time)

hey peeps,
had a little shred with thorsten today and a little "show" with chris and phillip on tuesday.
hit atomic ss legover (tapping ss legover???) only strongside today.
playing alone is less "fun", but better for your progress (my point of view right now).

haven't played in 2 weeks in which i focussed on wasting time for people i wont see again in my life and getting ill.

did a solo session today, played for about an hour, mainly trying to improve my toe butterfly - judging myself: i failed on that topic.
did put up a drill for me: b-flyx3>ducking b-fly>b-flyx2>ducking b-fly ; still I couldn't hit it once, not even the first ducking.
and yet another frustrating thing is that i don't know how to increase the height of my sets, whether pixie or atomic.

then i had this "date" with a girl i fancy right now, which didn't really end in some result i hoped it would.

crappy day. stupid dan.

yet i did not mention: I'm driving my 1st own car!!! Opel Astra Coupe i love you!!! + I met a good friend at the Museumsuferfest whom i haven't seen in a while.
I'm looking forward to worlds.

I played for about 90 minutes today.
I slowly get a feeling for ducks.
my flip atomic sucks.
infinity x 26 8) - doing toe butterfly is the best training, someone should have told me that!

worlds are beginning!
i played with phil morrison from NZ today for about an hour @ humperdinck school.
got me an advise for dlo's, not to rise the jumping leg to high, rather using it like a shovel.
i'll call some peeps now, asking what is left to do.
maybe i'll do some daily worlds report.

Worlds Day I
Built up the Stage, inspected the School, played a bit, guided all the people to school (what an act!) - but in the end it was a good day.
notice: phil speaks a hard new zealandish type of english
got to know some of the spanish people, players from madrid and barcelona
i can not distinguish between japanese and chinese people (i welcomed shredders from japan with "hi chinese people")
all hungarian guys hate me (yo lurko)
i stole a pack of chips from a finnish kid :P
tomorrow intermediate freestyle, argh, my routine is not well prepared :?
trying to remember what countries are at worlds already: US, CAN, CZ, DK, FINNS, PL, FR, JP, RU, AUT, SWITZERLAND, and some other satellitestates

i gotta go to sleep

Day with mixxed emotions for me.

Turn OFF: Miscommunication between US as organisation unit, precisely: communication+respect towards me, people treating me like shit so to say.
I turned out to be Head of Accomodation, altho i was actually only supposed to guide the people to the school everybody is sleepin in. Now I am the Person in Charge for every single Problem, even Problems that are not existing and are evolving out of the disability of my crewmates to communicate. Namen sind Schall und Rauch

Turn ON: I scored 3rd in my Pool and proceeded to the Finals in Intermediate Freestyle. I played to 2raumwohnung - spiel mit and had a good vibe with the audience, still 6 drops. Along with me is Augustin from Paris out of my pool and mathieu too (1st pool).

That's it for tonight. Tomorrow: Single Open Freestyle begins.
Matze and Jakob proceeded to double finals.

That's it for me for now.

p.s.: ole makes good pizza :D

i'm not very gentle with treating my blog.
Berlin rocked, slept at Jakobs and Tonis Place, along with Franck, Charles, Stefan, Karim, Serge and Reni.
It was so fun..i'm telling you...didn't awake before 2p.m. except for the first day
footbagpeople rock! (yves archambault is crazy, YES!)
thanx to fc footstar!

apart from all the great experience i had to realise that fucking with my ankle and knee is not that good. i hope that i won't be kept from playing by any kind of "serious" injury, tho the current status isn't very pleasant.

what have i been hitting lately..
fairy - flipside is gruesome..hit fairy legover, fear (fairy mirage) couple of times but not safe
dlo - both sides (at thursday solo session and todays train) but not constant - YAY!!! :)
i have to train stepping, ducking, fairy (and actually osis) the most right now.
i liked my atomics the last sessions, mirage and butterfly out of it aren't that hard out of it anymore (both bsos). nuclear i'm coming!!!
i still don't understand the slightest bit of drifters.

yours sincerely daniel.. (going on a trip with some guys from my district from thursday till saturday, hope to convince myself to some footbag between smoking, grilling and drinking  )
