They say that the spinners on there are metal, but they may as well be plastic. They weigh nothing. A friend of mine has these exact shoes. But he doesn't play footbag. He just got them for christmas one year.

It wouldn't even spin though! Your feet do not move in a perfect circle the way a wheel does. Wheels merit spinners, but a walking motion would not set those spinners a-spinning... I hate them!!!

Just to back up what Ben said, it's definitely not a spinner like what you find on a car. There's no ball bearings involved, since it's soo small. So basically the only time it spins is if you push it with your finger.

There's a pump in the foot area, and when you step it presses down and the spinner spins. Simple as that.

Um, actually there is no pump. These aren't like the Dada Spinners, dude. If you think that they'd completely change the design and structure (and engineering even?) of the shoe just to put some shitty little spinner on the side, I'm afraid there's a good chance you may be mistaken. Now maybe I'm wrong, but when I saw these shoes, they didn't seem to have a pump inside that turned the spinner. Because the spinner didn't turn of it's own accord.

These shoes are so counter-intuitive. You'd think that the spinners (and possible pump) would reduce their value.
