I'd like to formally welcome Tom Mosher to the Massive tricks section at Flipsider.

not to be a downer b/c that trick is totally cool, but why is that massive? And if it is, shouldn't Suderman' tail be "massive" as well? And how about anchor? or spinning xbd cloud stall? or backflipping toe stall?

I reckon they're all massive, except for perhaps spinning xbd cloud.

It doesn't have to be nerdiculturally acceptable to be Massive. The trick is extremely difficult; that's why it's there. Jeremy, I know you are saying what many others are thinking. I respectfully disagree, and do my best to think outside the box that confines freestyle. The Pendulum Handstand (and freeze the bag while upside down!) to Rake it back to front position combo, aka Mosher's Tail, is huge. Shut up.

well, I just tried it for the first time, and hit it 3rd try perfectly, holding the handstand for 7 seconds in good form, which happened to be my best handstand ever. So afterall I guess it's not so hard.

Yeah that's awesome Tom - props. Not really my kind of thing but I do enjoy trying moves like that occasionally.

No offense to Tom but I have always thought of moves like as more nerdy than the more mainstream footbag moves. Not that it matters but that's never stopped me voicing an opinion before.

Oh and I have a bunch of sailing tricks that might be massive. Do I have to upload them to flipsider or can I just send you the links? Like sailing torque, sailing drifter, sailing gyro mirage and one or two that are genuinly hard. It will be a few weeks before I can upload them anyway.

what a sweet trick, thanks to tom for expanding my game by inspiring me to hit it myself and then take it to the next step (pendulous roundoff), and thanks to Elliot for recognizing an awesome trick that takes us outside the boundaries of conventional freestyle. Next time I'm on a computer that can handle flipsider, I'll be sure to post there, too.

You know, Tom DOES have tricks that are totally worthy of MASSIVE status. Didn't he hit something ridiculous like Fairy Swirling Ripwalk or some shit? Wait, maybe it was Pixie Symposium Swirling Ripwalk. Oh hell I don't remember, but it starts with the Mosher set he made up.

I'm pretty sure Tom has hit toe set symposium swirling ripwalk and blurry whirl.

Moshing set is toe set symp. swirling stepping I think. It's a bit like an uptime merlin set.

Most definitely. But see, everything in the Massive section was either shot by my camera, tracked down and re-encoded by me, or actually submitted to the site by someone else. I just don't have the time or desire to go harassing people to submit their videos anymore, when I see them posted here or elsewhere. Fact is when I do/did track them down, the person usually says he is really happy I asked and will submit it very soon. Then it ends up never happening. However, out of the 110 moves currently there, many were contributed by players like you, sometimes without me even asking (my favorite way)! Off the top of my head: Jorden, Jan Struz, Anssi, Moglum, Honza, Cod, Phil Morrison, Brocka, and Erik Chan have all contributed to the Massive section. That seems like a lot, but even more said they would and never did. ...Boy, I'm sorry to keep ending on a down-note, so let me just say, I'm really thankful to all those who have contributed to Flipsider.

Keep it going!

This year at Worlds, dozens of Massive tricks will be hit on video. Will they show up in the Massive section? That's up to you.

Btw, do most people consider Paradox Swifter 'massive', or do I need to hit it Blurry or something? I can't really judge my own move. It's been a while so try to look at it from a fresh perspective. Thanks for the feedback.
