Has (insert viable, difficult trick name here) been hit? PG1
You should contact Pinkus. 2 years ago he was saying he was close, or that it was do-able. I dunno if he hit it, but he`d be the person to ask.
Regardless, props on the move. Get it on video so you can claim it officially. Without videos, just by the nature of that move (downtime triple dex with a double down) people will (understandably) be skeptical.

does anyone do a reverse duck? instead of going over the BACK of your neck, it goes over the FRONT of your neck, behind the shoulder , I footed it clip to clip the first day I tried it, its kind of akward, you gotta bend back alot, my back and neck were sore the next day.... should call it matrix or dodge or limbo or choker, if it doesnt exist already of course.
Plain, with everything.

I think what you're talking about is called following set, but I've only seen it done in one video: Just a Taste at time 1:44. I don't even know where you can get the video, to be honest. I think the set looks really cool if done flamboyantly, but it's very easy to the.

'motion' is double over down osis. is that what you mean?Oroza wrote:I wouldnt consider what I sked about a SET, just like ducking isnt a set, but i guess you do have to start it up/midtime.
oh, another query, how about refraction dyno?
that reverse duck idea is cool, if awkward... I was thinking, gyro reverse ducking osis

Yeah I've done this before. As you pointed out in another post it's easier to do gyro and then a reverse duck. I haven't hit many things out of it but I have done spinning clipper with a reverse duck in the middle. It's very easy to lose your balance.does anyone do a reverse duck? instead of going over the BACK of your neck, it goes over the FRONT of your neck, behind the shoulder , I footed it clip to clip the first day I tried it, its kind of akward, you gotta bend back alot, my back and neck were sore the next day.... should call it matrix or dodge or limbo or choker, if it doesnt exist already of course.
Ken (Somolinos) also told me that Seb Duschene had hit this reverse duck and had called one of the moves "guillotine"... Well that's if my memory serves correct.

no...more like refraction rev swirl with one leg doing both dexs. I guess the difference is that the second dex is behind the back and your turning inbetween the dexs, as opposed a dod osis where both dexs are more or less infront of youjames_dean wrote:'motion' is double over down osis. is that what you mean?Oroza wrote:I wouldnt consider what I sked about a SET, just like ducking isnt a set, but i guess you do have to start it up/midtime.

try the reverse duck from clip to op clip, make sure bag goes behind both shoulders, you gotta bend back, and look almost straight up and move your upper torso towards the bag for clearance < "following" i guess
i like the name guillotine, but those come down on the back of your neck...so....i still like choker as a name.

Guillotine has long been the name of Fairy Ducking Mirage.

1. It states QUITE CLEARLY in the first post of this thread, to not post ridiculous tricks which you know to be impossible. The purpose of this thread is to end rumours, not start them. Please limit posts to queries about feasible tricks, or knowledgable/semi-informed answers.
2. "reverse ducking" has been around for several years now. Some Americans call it "following" (but they were doing it really "the," so I hesitate to grant them naming rights). I`ve seen it done cleanly, and only after a spin.
3. "nuclear set" is a pdx illusioning set. So like an atomic set from clipper.
4. I`ve never heard of whirling ducking. I don`t see why people assume its been hit.
5. Whirling ripstein would be considerably harder than symposium whirling ripstein. I hope people are noting the difference.
