I'd rather let IFPA announce it, lest I upset them by letting the cat out of the bag early. Their communications guy posts a lot on these boards. If he's not willing to say anything, neither am I.

yeah, it's kinda lame to be like, "look at me in the know." half the people on the boards knew several months ago, but you don't see us going, "omg look at me I know and you don't!"

Honestly I think it's gonna be hot and mucky and way too full of little kids. not to mention how ridiculous airfare and lodging are gonna be that time of year. that there's not even a scene anywhere near there = no one to demo and hype, plus no crash space. Ugh god not to mention the food there.

i hope i'm proven wrong or something... but damn. if Japan was ruled out due to cost of living, why not this?

I wish it would have been in Portland, it's so close to me. I don't think I will make it due to the reasons stated above. It's lame. But on the other hand, it should be HUGE!

I've known, I'm sure many have. In fact, I'm surprised everyone hasn't already heard the 'rumor'. Worlds 06 isn't even done yet. You think plans on a World Championship over a year away of an obscure sport can't be changed/fall through? That's the main reason I haven't really mentioned it except casually to other footbag friends.

If it is there, that would be awesome I think. It would be even awesomer if it had really great coverage, commentary during the competition, and slow downs of moves/highlights during routines, sick tricks, and shred30s. But getting excited, or speculating on something that isn't right in front of me isn't very fun. Because you're only setting yourself up for disappointment.

On a completely separate note, I think all National Championships for each country should be held before Worlds. It would be kinda silly if an American won Worlds (dare to dream) and then lost the US Championship 2 weeks later. Ahh well, just venting.

Back on topic: Worlds 07 is gonna be held at Chuck E. Cheese Pizza in Columbus, Ohio!!!
