Anyway, while I was playing today some girls I graduated with rode past me on their bikes, I guess they were exercising or something... just because we have our lisences doesn't mean we always have to drive our cars. I wonder what they thought of my being an 18 year old playing hacky sack in my drive way. I'll be honest, it was a little embarassing. I know playing tiltless can impress people, but it really doesn't look that cool compared to guiltless/tripless/fearless etc. It makes me wonder what I look like when I play, do I look like an idiot or do I look impressive? I really want to get a video camera from someone so I can post a video and also so I can critique myself to become better. If I'm doing a trick wrong it's hard for me to tell. I hope it looks sweet when I play

This sport is sweet, its almost becoming like an anti-drinking type thing for me, because I hate to play hungover. I've turned down drinking a few times in the past week because I knew the next day I wanted to play footbag. It also becoming a good way to relieve stress, like tonight I was supposed to go to a party with some friends but was working and so someone else took my spot (some kid invited us to someone else's party, so there was a limit of how many he could take.), which sucks but I didn't have to think about it for the past hour because I was playing. It's also just a damn good way to spend time, so much better and enjoyable than watching TV or being on the computer.

Another good session, I had a lot of new links come together. And hit two or three new tricks.
You can't have good days with out some bad days.
Highlights:
Blender sealed on strong side, footed on weak
Symp Whirl!!! strong side only... I really need to work on my flip whirls a lot more before I hit this flip.
Ducking butter mid string
Ducking osis
I think I've been adding more BOP's into my guiltless strings, and it is really helping to improve the length. I need to drill DLO's more though, because it seems like a lot of my guiltless strings end with a drop on a DLO attempt.

It was hot as hell today during my session, so longer strings were really tireing. But, I still managed to hit some new links, I don't remember many of them but I know I hit ducking clip>ducking clip. My sister saw it and was impressed. I also sealed smear>crispy terrage>rpt today. My guiltless strings are getting longer, my average is probably like 8 contacts. I'm getting more consistent. From here they can only get longer and longer.
I ordered a Suderman bag like a week ago, every day I check my mailbox in anticipation for getting it. I feel like a little kid doing that
.
Today I decided to retire my Miller bag. Thats the 3'rd bag I've had to stop using, including my Peng and Abshire. I started to warm up with some cheap 32 pannel bag (rather than my actual shred bags) that I first bought when I started to play, I think it's actually a net bag if they make those... Maybe it will help prolong the life of my new bag when it gets here. I am now down to one bag, which is one of my oldest and its a footfighter, which everyone says is more delicate than other bags, I don't get it because it's lasted the longest for me. Neither of my Miller or Peng life spans were as long as I hoped, not even close. Maybe they were made with weaker colors? I noticed the only holes on my Miller bag were around the yellow, none on the green or red. After my session I gave my Miller its last bath ever, and I also gave my footfighter a bath. I decided to try using some conditioner on it because if conditioner makes hair nice and soft, maybe it will do the same to fabric. We'll see how that worked out after it dries.

After much anticipation my Suderman bag arrived today, which I found after working. It was a nice suprise to come home to. It's made so awesomely, nice and tiny (even smaller than my peng bag!). Its purple and white.
I had a VERY quick session, that consisted of warmup with suderman bag>tiltless shred with my very old footfighter. This was my second session of the day, and even though I played easier I had more fun because the sun was setting so it was not blistering hot. I also felt like a much stronger play because playing tiltless made my string length double compared to my guiltless (which I usualy play at). I think after that I've been inspired to play tiltless longer in my sessions to increase my overall stringlength.
Highlight of the night:
DLO>flipDLO first try (inspired by the beginning of the Andrew Grant video where he does that then egg beater>dlo, I really like that video, it's been my most watched of the past two days.)

Yesterday's session and todays session both weren't too great. I feel like I've hit a wall in my progression. I don't know how I can get any better now, it sucks not having someone around to help me through this or help me get better.
I'm at a point where even if I keep practicing I'm not getting better. I pixie my ass off and their consistency has not gone up at all for a few weeks. I drill whirls and they still aren't all that great... and my gyro clippers still suck, even if I practice them every fricken session (which I do). My stepping isn't getting better, a few days ago I hit step-clip>step-op-clip>rpt which was nice, but now I cannot hit it again... wtf? I feel like there are to many concepts to focus on, that if I want to get good at it all I'd be playing all day every day, something I have neither the time or energy for.
I think I take the level of play I have for granted, I remember seeing someone playing tiltless in a video when I first started and I was like damn that's sick. Now I'm better than that, but I still feel like I suck. Hopefully if I play tonight I'll play better, I don't have work and all my friends are on vacation so... I think one good session will end my temporary disappointment.
