Nate and Net (my first video)

Post by Moxie »

My first video: Featuring Nate Linscott and some Santa Cruz Net. The music is important when watching this, so be sure to have your speakers turned up. It's not supposed to be a great shred video. I didn't have ton of footage to pick from, I just wanted to learn how to edit footage since I had no idea how to do anything before I did this.

Hope you enjoy.

Thanks fellows.

I like the dance-like quality of the sport. It went well with the music.

Yah EK, nice work! I thought the still frames were a nice touch, and the music was very original for a shred vid. I'm glad we spent our time doing other fun stuff cause you really figured out editing well yourself...witch program did you end up useing?

I was injured

++++EDIT:+++++

4 the record, I wasn't truely injured (hence the wink). I had a freshly dislocated shoulder, but that wasn't hindering my shred at all. Regardless, thank you for the props. :D

Nate even if you were injured that shred was pretty sweet. Was that you hitting all those whirrs or was that Jeremy? Also, I saw a handful of pdx illusions in there, which was cool because I've been drilling that trick lately and it's cool to see it used in runs.

Is the guy with the long hair EJ?

Also, mad props to that guy playing Net with one leg.

I used Vegas 6.0. I like it.

It was Jeremy hitting all those whirrs in a row. The guy with the long hair is EJ (RunAmuk) and the net player with one leg is Jacob.

Pretty good. The song was a refreshing change in pace. Did you notice that you put the same Nasty Nate tripless string on the vid twice? That was the biggest "beginner mistake" that stood out. I thought the still frames looked good, and I liked the intro.

It was also good to see new Jakob footage. I think the last time I saw footage of him (and the first time) was on Sultans of Shred, where he freestyles really well. That was like 7 years ago.

:-/ Thanks for letting me know about that, Ken. I fixed that before I decided I was done, but I guess I didn't render, shrink and post the right copy. Oh well.

Thanks for the comments. :-)

Nice Emily :D Now that you know how to edit keep the videos coming...and put yourself in the next one!

One Linscott run was repeated, but that's ok cuz it was a good run. He has a lot of variety in his game. It's like watching Moir in that you never know what's coming next. Awesome
