Well, got my Moir's Sessions & my footbag ! I'm really excited about my footbag, and not so much the DVD. I'll just list some quick gripes about it. First off, it's a single DVD case, and it has 2 DVD's in it. Why is that bad ? Well, it pretty much means one dvd will be sliding all over the place and getting scratched up. That is exactly what happened when it got shipped all the way from Ontario to West Virginia. I have one DVD that is already scratched up. Another... Jorden made his own dvd graphics that are a bit low quality. That isn't a big deal, but he taped them together in hope that they wouldn't get scratched ??or something. Well, once you peel off the tape, you rip up the dvd graphics, . And of course...since I enjoy editing, well, there was none. Maybe there is some here and there, but from the bits and pieces, it's mostly just raw audio, raw video with glitches here and there. Anyways, I'm glad I bought it so it can help him get to Worlds, but Dvd's should be made a bit better in consideration of the buyer [/gripe].

Anyways, no session today, most likely tomorrow after work. I'm gonna do some body training , peace.

Work > shred > exercise.

Pretty good day at work, midway through we were a bit slow so I decided to wash my Aiden Bag. It's turning out really prime for an intermediate stitcher, or atleast a bag stitcher. As soon as I was drying it I knew it was going to feel really good later on. So tonight after work I decided to shred a bit. Also, I've decided to keep my Lewd bag with me at all times so I can hand massage it whenever. The bag looks so nice, I just hope the stitching and material goes with the looks.

Shred was alright, nothin special really. Just played a lot, and drilled a good bit. My flip stepping was really pissing me off tonight, but when is it not ? I decided to practice just consecutive ducking clipper > ducking clipper > ducking butter > ducking butter, I got 24 contacts in it first try, pretty good. My drifters are getting pretty good, I usually never try pure consecutive drifters, but I tried today and got 11 for the first try. I'll start encorporating that into my usual warm up. I finished the session with BOPS and wanted to get 100, but I got like 40, haha. They are starting to feel really easy, like the flip pdx mirage and osis stuff, feels more natural. I noticed my endurance is starting to get better. I still get pretty fatigued midstring, but my session lengths are atleast an hour. I'm always pouring sweat now which means I'm pushing myself hard, yet at the end of the session, I don't want it to be done. I just wish I had more time on my hands, but it all works out well really.

Got home, worked out, and all I have left is some dips...gonna shoot for 25. Take a shower and go to bed.

Tip of the day: The angle of your toes makes all the difference.

Car story -

I'd like to just take a quick post to memorize a glorious occasion that took place on grand central on 7/20/06. The ultimate pass - perfect timing, control, acceleration, speed. No one was hurt, but many could have been, makes me think I should probably slow down a bit. 99.9% of the time I keep composure in car situations, but I was pretty ecstatic when I pulled it off, let out some "Fuuuuuckin A that was PERFECT !!!" "Yiieeaaaah" . Anyways, even with that incident, yesterday was probably worse. Had a pitcher and so of beer...and drove around. While I was driving with 2 friends (brad, matt) , for whatever reason we were flippin this guy off behind us in a Tahoe. Well, an epic car chase was had ! All I remember was hawlin ass through the backstreets of Vienna (where I grew up). This fellow must have been pushin his tahoe, cause he was keepin up pretty well. Anyways, we lost him after about 2.5 minutes of driving, stopped at Dairy Queen for cover and chilled out.

Footbag related - After work I plan on watching all of the Moir's Sessions DVD here at work and then shredding, I'll write up some thoughts on it and the session. Hopefully I'll also work on editing the video, it's pretty close to done. I don't think Dee is gonna be over this weekend, so I'll have some free time.

Tip of the day - If you give someone the middle finger, expect consequences.

Great session, bout 1hr 50 min. with Brad at the clinic. I started with a nice warm up, hit 17 drifters back to back first try. Some neat things were blurriest bsos, symp rev-up 5x on my good side, and i hit it once on my flip, flip ps whirl once and I dropped a couple that 'felt' good, at the end of the session I tried BOPS - 106 !!!!! Once I got to like 60, it was as if I were floating and movements were thoughtless without energy. I almost hit ps whirl > symp revup, it looked pimp. At the very end, even though I said I was done, I tried slicing for the first time. I can do the set, I just haven't bailed into anything, pretty close to slicing mirage. I'm tired so I'm gonna go home and shower. After that I think I'm supposed to play risk and most likely I'll use my usual tactic that never works. Move all my troops into Australia and slowly die within 30 minutes or so.

Well, the Axis of Evil prevailed. Brad and myself took over with a mighty comeback and conquered the world. Also, the SCSO video is pretty much done, all I have to do is render and upload. It comes out to about 8min and 30sec with a mighty size of 187 mb. I'm not sure if that's a bit too large...but I really like high quality videos. I'll also make another low render that will most likely be about 40 mb or so. I'll have the hi-render uploaded first and will post that here for anyone who likes to read this blog, a little early treat. Once both are uploaded, I'll have a thread for it in the video section, should be good !!!

Sweet Jesus, that's one of the best shred vids I've ever seen. Nice work and thanks. Why no post in the vid section?

Looking good. I liked that overhead shot of Brad and the editing of Dave that went with the funky music. Haha...and nice break dancing with the bag. :P

That video was so good. :-) I usually download videos, watch them, them delete them. I only keep ones that I think I'll want to own in a year, and this is definitely one of them. Thanks for making it.

Hood, this video was so sweet that I'll forgive you for spelling my name wrong

No seriously though, you should've entered something in the world's video comp. You've got genuine talent with that shit.

I'm glad you threw in the overhead shot, that was fun. And I should've done more breakdancing..oh well next time.

PEACE!

Thanks for the words and a big sorry to you Jake Milofsky for the poor spelling. Anyways, any type of editing critiques or just wanna say..."holla holla hollllla holla" then you can go here - SCSO Video Thread. Hi / Lo size files are available :) .

Shred today with brad for about 2 hours, lotta sweat, and a good bit of anger towards the end. I guess that's what happens when you're exhausted, hungery, and just not hittin the shit you wanna cause you're....exhausted and hungery, . Anyways, hit ripstein good side a couple times, hit flipside sloppy twice. Started with a lot of drills and all was well. Hit 20 drifters today back to back, took me a couple tries, but I finally got a good flow and bam, 20x ! Oh, superfly variants were feelin great, didn't hit any, but who cares when they feel good. All that means is it didn't land, but my mind & body understands why I dropped and why I got so close, mmm, love that feeling ! Things to work on - pixie/atomic out of dlo's, spinning (esp. flip), toe set swirls, double downs, and any form of whirling. Also, I think I made up a nifty set, not sure what it is. But it'd be symp rev. whirling swirling set. So basically it's set from clipper and both the whirl and swirl follow in the same direction with the reverse whirl being symposium. Just something I prolly shouldn't skool cause it's a waste of time and poor organization of priorities. I've got a lotta flip issues to deal with before I get all vasek on my shit.

Tip of the Day: Dropping is a necessary part of footbag, get over it.

Solid 1.5 hour session. Not to say my game was great, but it was a good 1.5 hours. I finally hit ps whirl bsos later into the evening, felt great. Other than that I was really struggling with my flip stepping set. I can easily say for the time to payoff ratio, stepping is the hardest set for me. I have put a lot of time and effort into it, and the payoff for my flipside is little, annoying. Anyways, I tried listening to myself, dropping is necessary. I drilled a lot and dropped a lot, didn't hit anything amazing, but I liked how I played a solid 1.5 hours and still wanted more. My endurance is still getting better.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll ever get really really good, my left leg holds me back constantly. I've come a long way, but I still can't push it as hard as I like. The strength is getting there, but I think I've done so much damage in my earlier years that I've drained the potential out of it. I don't like regretting things, and I won't, but I wonder how well I'd play now if I wouldn't have skated and done all the crazy things I did to mess my left leg up. If I wouldn't have had that surgery, etc. etc. If my left leg felt as stable, strong, and quick as my right leg, I would have picked everything up so much faster. All the time I spend gimpin around, I would have already had things down with good form. Guess I gotta work with what I have, only the best players will be playing with the best bodies. I should be thankful nothing else has really fallen apart. Yes, I have sprained my ankle, pulled my back muscle, stomach muscle, hurt neck, etc. etc. etc., but all of those things have been able to recuporate. I'll "keep on , keepin on" and hopefully my body will accpet that.

On a more positive note, people have enjoyed the scso shred video, makes me happy. Not a whole lotta hype on it, but I guess that's cause worlds is ending and videos of worlds are coming out. I read that for the Worlds Video Contest the 1st place got quantum shoes, and 2nd and 3rd got BOTS video...I should have made a dank video. I am going to for worlds 07, cause I want something sweet....quantums...or whatever, and some recognition.

Anyways, PEACE !!! Got a hot date tonight for benchwarmers. So I'm gonna get home, eat a banana, and lift off any agression I have downstairs and on the pull up bar  that or stop at Bob Evans for something soothing for my throat...*sore throat*

*ugh*... Sat. morning, slightly hung over, couple minutes late for work, backspacing too much, and more sick. I've got poor colored mucus, my head feels like a large balloon, my nose is nice and red, and my voice sounds...sexy deep. Slight headache on top of that, but I'm pretty sure that is from the sake bombs. Gotta work for 4 hours...and then I'm supposed to play footbag or something, we'll see about that. :?
