so 60 euros converts to...
1 Euro = 1.2616 U.S. dollars

$75.70.

Add to that international shipping...

= hole in pocket.

I'll stick to my G-units till I try these quantums first hand.

I'm sorry... but what about your pouty negative posts about the quantums before. Now your bragging to people on the internet that you own them.

Check the site. :) "Note: the quantum scales about 1/2 - 1 size larger that the Rod Laver. So if you're a US 10 in Rod Laver, we suggest a 9 or 9 1/2 quantum."

These shoes look pretty ill. Very tempted to make these my next pair of shoes. Can anyone speak for the sustainability of the production of these shoes? Are they ever going to run out? It's true they can always be pulled if it's not a good venture, but I just want to make sure this isn't a G6 or CT300 type relationship I'd be getting myself into before buying a pair.

if I didn't have 3 Gunit pairs in reserve, I would immediately and without question buy these shoes. Thank you planetfootbag. I hope you receive the support you deserve and need to continue the dream.

I tried ordering a pair via their website but they don't ship to France and neither to Belgium... I'll figure out a way to get my hands on a pair though.

Same. Anyone that's tried them able to say anything about the support?

Evan Lovely said to me in PM that within a month he has been told they will be able to ship internationally!

My first thought about the qunatum (from what i've read and seen):
It has the massive toe box of the climas and something of an improvement on the lavers toe walls, they aren't as prominant as they are on lavers so everyone's pixie sets are safe from snags!

The inside looks flippin brilliant, it says it is curved to stop bag roll off :D - looks easily as good as the lavers clipper rail but already modded!

Material does look a little slippery but I highly doubt that will make any differance.

The sole is ment to be quite durable and it looks it too (as well as looking damn cool) - this means we won't wear through the sole in 6 months playing on concrete! Could also mean good support.

They come with stock insoles and recomend you buy decent ones, so I guess similar to lavers as far as insole support.

They look really sweet - I think at least as good as lavers, the massive toe box is a little bit of a turn-off, but I think it'll be worth it for the good it will do one's game!
Black and white are limited colours but they are cool paterns and I guess they may bring out more colours later!

The sizing seems quite limited, but that is fair enough, they can't do everything right away!

Price: they cost 75USD or 121NZD (or 50 euros). To me this is not very much, I used to wear skate shoes and would pay up to $300NZ per pair, even with shipping the quantums would only come to half that! Sounds like a fair price to pay to support an ACTUAL footbag company and be able to wear and ACTUAL footbag shoe :D

If everyone kept using square wheels when the round ones came out even though the round ones were made buy a company who supports the users of the wheels, then we woulden't have cars today... I guess what i'm trying to say is, let's all get behind this and buy quantums - the more sales they make the more incentive they have to expand the product range (colours sizes etc)!

Go planetfootbag!

To everyone who already has Quantums:

Based on Planetfootbag's disclaimer that "the quantum scales about 1/2 - 1 size larger that the Rod Laver. So if you're a US 10 in Rod Laver, we suggest a 9 or 9 1/2 quantum."...

What size works for you relative to your laver/G6 size? Is it better to compensate by a 1/2 size or a full size when getting Quantums?

Any info on sizing will be much appreciated.

I've tried to order them and their site won't let me checkout for some reason. I really want them! Guess I'll have to be patient a little while longer...

So does anybody know if you can play with them laced normally?

Also can we see some close up photos (maybe they exist already and I don't know about them)?

I will definitely buy a pair - even if I never wear them to play footbag with - just to support the idea of shoes designed for footbag :)
