I've been stitching 32 panels for a week or two , but I would like to know
what the best dimensions are for a good sized freestyle bag. (http://patterns.phasing.org/) I'm also
looking for any other tips on what kind of thread to use, gathering tips,
the best type of filler, basically anything you can think of to help me stitch
better 32 panel bags. Thanks

I'll say what "I" know about stiching 32's
Pattern dimentions: there's loads and LOADS to try, search for the toby template on modified, its a good one to start with and it shows you where every stich should go
Thread: I use floss sometimes and nylon others, its down to prefence, there's a poll on it on modifed, i would recomend floss to begin with though
Filler: shot, bb's, poly pellets, facile scraps... I use small (1mm) steel shot but some ppl will say leads best etc, once again its down to prefence..
Your best bet is to get hold of either a brinard 32 panel kit (comes with everything you need) or KFM does a a 32 panel kit but you'll need to get a glover needle and your own thread/floss to start... there both good

You can use upholtery thread or floss. What ever you would like. For dimensions, there isn't a "best" pattern out there. Like Mowley was saying it's preference for that. On gathering, make sure it's even all the way around. Mowley said the rest of what I was gonna say.

the only way to really decide is to decide is to try out a bunch of dimensions and find one that you like best. just to give you a start, a good dimension to use is 0.74, 0.85, 40%. sew 2mm from the edge of the facile using this pattern. and for the thread vs. floss thing, i use and like upholstery threadd better.
