I know this is cliche but ever scince i saw the movie, i thought that Gandhi was one of the most heroic people to walk the earth. just think about all the stuff that happend to him and his people and how they just stood up to oppression..amazing really.

also for music John H Bonham is definitely one of my heroes and all of led zeppelin i guess also the who the beatles and so on.

another one that comes to mind is lech walesa who started soladarity within Poland to break down communist rule

His "that guy owes me bacon" joke was awesome and I think he does a pretty good job for an Repulican (from my lefty hippie perspective anyway). You could certainly do a lot worse.
