I'm not looking forward to the days when I get off work and it's been dark for 4 hours.

when I can't just get on my bike and rip through the parks before I go home.

when I can't step out into the back porch and enjoy the quiet in nothing but my kicking shorts.

It seems like the summers have gotten shorter. It's near the end of July and I don't feel like I've made the most of this year so far.

After work I biked to the beach trying to keep a fast and steady pace. I sprinted the last 2 blocks and still felt pretty good. On the way home I had the wind to my back and I flew through the bike path taking only 20 minutes from North ave beach to Hollywood ave.

Still have to finish my 2,300,000th Midwest Regionals write-up and do my month in review.

Did another few paragraphs for my midwest write up. Cleaned the apartment and did some laundry. The temp dropped significantly and the clouds cleared up from last night's storm. I biked down to Oak Street Beach again and hacked with Steve. We had quite a few long 2 man rallies. The rides to and from the beach don't seem to be as much of a chore as they used to be. I reall just love to ride now... if you already couldn't tell.

Still have to do my month in review... maybe tomorrow.

Played squares yesterday... even freestyled for a little bit. I was quickly reminded how much I've come to loathe the activity. Came close to hitting a new move (for me) though, the idea came from watching Reile hit Vortex. I tried a drifting stallburger. Came close to hitting it, it just wouldn't stay on my foot cuz I was was off balanced. Came just as close trying it PDX. Also tried it atomic same, nuclear same, pixie same, and fairy same. I just had to quit because I kept banging my pinky toe into the ground.

at work now... so bored.

3 surgery's in the last 2 nights. Theres a distnict smell when the metal drill grinds against human bone. I can smell it even through the mask. It really doesn't bother me but when I heard on the news about the surgery to seprate the 4 year old conjoined twins my stomach turned

Anyway, I met Sean Wingert at the US Open and he says hi. He told me about meeting you, James, Dan, Brian and the other CIC guys back in the day. He remembered you making the first shirts and how awesome it was.
