BOTS teaser (official release)

Post by jerkki »

Hello

As most of you know, the first BOTS teaser was published yesterday in The Joulukalenteri by Tuukka. I'm adding this topic to publish it officially with an Xvid-option along with the wmv encoded release.

Some words about the project:
Bringing Out The Shred is a footbag freestyle video with a storyline. It introduces a totally new concept of lighting and quality in the genre of shred videos. Our aim is not only to showcase insane combos and moves but also to present those moves in a picture which looks sharp, fresh, unique and smooth.

We are shooting whole winter and spring. The movie will be out next summer. Info site is on its way, more info coming soon. In the mean while watch the teaser and comment if you feel like it.

BOTS teaser Xvid [Xvid mpeg-4 H.263 @ 3mbps]
BOTS teaser wmv [wmv 9 @ 3mbps]

Thats all

Impressive is the right word.

Let me tell you that this is the best trailer ever to cross my hard disk.
Perhaps...the time to make professional shred videos is finaly upon us.

I don't know what to say ! The lighting and quality of the video is unbelievable ~!! I'm not horribly crazy about the whole underground gangsters, but what do I know !? I'm just judging something I've never seen. Goodluck with the production and I'm looking forward to seeing some other tidbits here and there to keep my mouth drooling

I am totally blown away by #24, THANK YOU for sharing that trailer with us Tookya! Man, it looks like a blockbuster movie, so epic, so awesome.

I never buy DVDs because I don't have credit card, but I will go to any means to get my hands on the full version of that trailer. Wow. Jere is a master, he is exactly what footbag needs, people making it look as breathtakingly awe-inspiring to everyone as we see it to be.

I knew #24 would be the best ;)
This is what I posted in Tuukka's thread.

Jerre, you are truly a master of film, I love the theme and how it makes footbag look so cool. Who would have ever thought something so good would come out of a gangstar footbag mix :D

Two nights ago Jeremy and I were invited to Steve's house to watch a special viewing of Bringing Out The Shred. I was excited to see what Steve described as the "first professionally edited footbag video," especially since I hadn't read a lot about it beforehand. I loved the casting and acting. There was narration and the premise of the plot was really fun and unusual. There were two times I went "woah" from the filming/editing. I heard at least a few other comments like that from other people during the movie. I think it was about 35 minutes long. It has English subtitles but I don't feel like I missed anything because I was reading them. So that's good. It is not a shred video, but it is a footbag movie. Awesome.

Is this the same trailer that came out months ago? EDIT: Just watched it, it is the one ive seen earlier. Incredibly awesome still!!

Also, i wouldnt agree that its the first 'professionally edited' footbag video, because productions like 'Sick03' and the like are professionally done. Its more like the first footbag feature film or something.

Lol, but it sure looks like Bringing out the Shred is much more professionally edited! I really like the lighting.. something that I have yet to grasp. I want to see it really bad!
