A close friend's Dad died, and his memorial is on Saturday at 3:00 pm, so I can't make it this weekend. Sorry guys, looks like this weekend is off

Hope the grieving process is easy (don't know how close you were to the guy). See you at the open, probably, then! Probably for the best... each of us will be just that much better since the last time we've thrown down, so it should be a surprise for each of us!

I did not play footbag today. I was very sad. I got to hang out with a bunch of people. Pretty fun. Saw Lady in the Water again. Freaked out a lady friend. Funny shit.

There are a lot of drunks around here, for my friends brothers little shindig thing right now. Its pretty Redonkulous.

Been shredding it up as much as always. I'm going to take the time leading up the Open and only have solo sessions and try and cram in as much as possible. I feel like I have the best style/form/intensity/consistency when I play alone. Maybe I should just stop playing with anyone else... Kidding of course.

danny what's your last name? williams? maybe? i need it for your train ticket also if your first name's really like daniel or something and you just go by danny that'd be good to know too. why isn't in your signature dude? way to drop the ball!!! also it looks like wednesday leaving at 5:30 is gonna be the train for us, the next earliest is 2:20 not 3:30 and that's pushing it a little close so 5:30 it is!

it's official, danny and i are leaving for portland on wednesday the 9th at 5:25, should be ariving in portland at 8:55 and coming back on the same train as sam, 6:15 monday

here are some waaacky highlights from today's unconventional session! Didn't try stuff I work on usually.

- blur>tripwalk>ripwalk>rpt starting bs
- pdx torque bsos
- pdx blender bsos
- smp whirl>ps whirl>smp whirl

(midtime smp whirls, not downtime)
- smp whirling swirl bsos
- a flip spinning pdx blender (haven't hit one in a looong time)
- scorpion's tail bs
- blaze for the first time in a while (very easily, at that)

Pretty dope having all this stuff come so easily since I never attempt it, but I won't use that as an excuse for these highlights being pretty lame.

I will, however, use the fact that it was my fourth day of shred in a row.

Fifth day of shred, busted phat!

- a run with six unique 5's, dropped on my 7th (I think it had like... blurry drifter, blurriest, pdx torque, blurry whirl, phoenix, and then one of those was doubled up (can't remember which), dropped on the other side blurry whirl)
- started a run with blurry whirl>blurry whirl>ps whirl>spinning clipper bail from whirl

- blurriest>run with flip janiwalker

- a couple janiwalkers bs
- nice and varied toe shuffle inspired by SERGE
- pdx eggs super easy, footed bedwetter bs

edit: also, of note, was that despite the phatness I laid down, Justin still ripped me up

he hit jani>jani, jani>pdx whirling swirl, 6 unique fearless, and 5 unique fearless a bunch, he laid down frantic butterfly a bunch, too... I still have a ways to go.
