Soo my first sess in montreal in 7 months, just me and Kolo..
still it was fun even tough only 2 players
We both played pretty badly but I regulated him on some stuff ;D

for exemple he was trying datw>dbl switch> rpt
after he tried it for like 6 turns, I hit first try, and really cleanly ; datw>dbl switch>datw>string
It was my first time, but felt so easy!

I could'nt hit a damn gyro DLO wich really got me angry, I can hit this first try all the time usualy, even midstring...

and I hit spin zulu le loup midstring :D

some highlights from worlds:

being lost so many times in frankfurt was quite amuzing, especially drunk at night :D

winning 2 medals in intermediate freestyle even tough I chocked in both events

Meeting a lot of new people, and seeing a lot of friends again

Doing the cake contest

Seeing the second circle contest ever, first international one, and being the official cameraman, thus filming everything!

The free breakfasts, and cheap thai food next to the main event site

4 square fun

Seeing Phil Morisson live for the first time, this guy can step out of anything, its crazy, like superfly>fog ..

Hitting Mobius many times, and some really well executed ones

Walking to the school one random night from 2 metro stations, thus taking 1 hour, while being drunk and drinking some more with Marc, Sebastien, Kamil and Karolina, thanking them especially for the delicious polish vodka!

Seeing Jorden when he realised he won shred 30

and so much more but I can't recall most of it because I was always amazed by the moment, except for the mornings at school that sucked :)

Had my first Montreal complete session
4 of us kicking today with Yax! (first time in 18 months I kicked with him), Koa, and Kolo
Even tough he plays less then before, Yacine is still the bomb and impresses me..

on my side, I hit mobius too many times :D, I tried flip gyro dlo and it seems possible, need to work flip dlo wich still sucks bad..

spin clip>drifter>repeat!
drifter> pdx whirl
pdx whirl>rev swirl
a run with pdx dlo and pdx eggbeater
some ok long runs with not much variety

all this and I wasnt feeling my legs all session :D

spin buter>ducking buter>rpt (hit this drill twice)
56 contact tiltless (with some 4s and many 3s..
many 40 contact strings with some 2 add bails using mostly 3s and 4s
almost mobius midstring (after like 12 contacts) but I sent it in another dimension after the delay

gyro buterfly bsos ( I figured out why I used to suck at gyro buterfly) I need to spin more then gyro clipper! easy :D

Hey Mathieu,

I just checked up on your blog and it sounds like you've made a hell of a lot of progress since I saw you last. :) You've come a long way since that fateful car ride at SJFF... Are you going to come to SJFF this year?

Peace,

close to gyro buter> ps whirl

average session otherwise..
I need to work my abs to get good at toe stuff, especially eggbeaters
it would help my DLOs also, especially flip

for the first time in my life I feel like loosing weight, and it's only to get better at footbag :D

some stuff I hit recently
spin mirage>DSO
gyro buterfly>PS whirl
footed pdx blender couple of times, thanks to advice from Ianek
almost spin out of torque or mobius.. but with quantums ( I have lot of problems zooming while wearing quantums) With lavers or g-units I will probably do it .. like torque>gyro clip>mobius would be nice :D

so since I got back in Montreal I played about 13 days out of 17
today was my 8th session in 9 days..
I can't seem to stop for more then one day, even if I don't feel my legs
I really need to stop for 3 days.. so tomorrow is take 2 to stop for 3 days, since I played today, solo session..

Was'nt trying any hard stuff, drilling some lfipside basics that are weak.. tried some flip symposium wich is sooo weak, I don't have the strenght for it.. except for symp mirage.. but I don't think that move needs strenght like symp whirl does.

anyways, for first time clip set flip symp mirage, hit flip symp mirage again, but been hitting for over a year.. flip symp pixie,, well almost, but felt more like a rake.

almost had a string with gyro dlo and mobius, but the set after mobius went flying away :(

also footed some pdx blenders.. but I set it way too far resulting in a lame handcatch that I have to run for, or a set far away..

practiced some flip rev swirls, havent been doing them in a long time, also pixie ss clipper, that move rocks and I never do it

first time : flip spinning pickup
outside set spinning (fun concept) like outside set spinning outside!

8O crazy stuff mathieu!! try to pause a bit at least!
i must confess that i underestimated your skill having only seen your 1st routine at worlds and the rest of your final routine.
hope you continue your progress w/out injury. it was a pleasure getting to know you a bit.

Whirlwind
Pdx blender
mobius to start a couple of runs
zoom out of torque almost
getting closer to double spinning but still needs some foot work and speed a ton!
