We all know your shoe will totally own the "quantum" because its been designed by footbager who is also a top engineer. If your shoe has better shock absorbtion than the lavers, which I'm sure it will, I'd definately get a pair. Don't be disheartened by some other crappy shoe coming out, us footbaggers know your design will be better. Best of luck getting it into manafacture.

I hit mosher's tail twice today. I'm definitely going to be putting it in strings. I did it first try for my dad. Thanks for inventing such an awesome move, I LOVE it.

I hit some really long and good ones last night actually. I am trying to get Mosher's tail and then toss it to the other toe while upside down then rake that through.

I did a cool extension of your 'underside of the hat visor' trick. You can go into handstand once stalled! I bet that would be a crowd pleaser!

I had a really important talk with my parents today.

We outlined my plan for completing all I need to finally graduate.

And with that agreed upon they were willing to discuss the issue of them loaning me money to go to Europe again!

I am so happy that I am so fortunate!!

I am lucky to have the parents I have.

I have been looking forward to my new video camera so bad!!!

I basically never stop talking about all the things I am going to do with it once I have it.

Get ready for a fucking flood of movies from me!!!!

I was starting to get worried that I got scammed by Joe Kulacz, but I have faith in the kid. He is good and nice and honest and I feel like he and I have too good of a connection for him to ever do something like that to me. Especially since I had so confidently sent off the payment right away, I even rush delivered it!

I guess it is easy to get paranoid when you want something so bad.

Something amazing happened the other day. I got the most important e-mail of my whole life... Outlook had decided it was junk mail and I only found it as I casually peeked to see if anything had wound up in there!!! What luck! I can't say anything about the e-mail, as it is TOP SECRET, however I can say that I now know the full details of the quantum shoe project.

I am baffled as to why anything related to a footbag shoe should be top secret. It's not like nike is surfing modified to steal ideas. I think we are all just as interested as you are in that stuff, and I'm not sure why they wouldn't tell anyone. Especially if vasek was walking around in it.

Don't say that like I intentionally took and kept those things!

I have no use for any of them!

But you can have your stuff back if I can find it, I don't want to be a stuff-keeper.

David, they took the top-secret approach because it is a safer bet than what I did. By telling everyone I was doing this I got everyones hopes up, that can either work well or terribly. They chose not to get everyones hopes up for something that may or may not work out in the end.

Sure we're all curious, but often it isn't a good thing to barf out all the details before their time.

My life is crazy!!!

One day I will have time to barf it all out here.. one day.

Anyways, here is my current big drama, I paid Joe Kulacz for a video camera like.. two months ago and the camera still hasn't come and I havn't heard from Joe..

I am trying very hard not to think the worst.

If anyone can help me in anyway I will be forever greatful.

I will pay ANYTHING to have my camera here by Thursday!!! If you contact joe please tell him that!

Tom, I miss you already.

Have a safe trip and take care of yourself! Don't do things that are too ridiculous and warm up nicely before you shred hard. Remember to stretch after shred and don't hurt yourself! I'm not sure if you're on top of this, but did you bring your routine song on the mp3 player or on a cd? Enjoy yourself and call me once in awhile for updates.

Don't forget to get the Germans to help you with your German homework. Get that first assignment in ASAP on WebCT. The second assignment is due the 24th of July.

First and foremost, have lots of fun and enjoy yourself. You work hard enough working full time. Enjoy this vacation and relax a little when you can. I wish you lots of luck in competition and remember I'm your biggest fan.

My worlds was so much fun, and a lot of it was thanks to you. Thanks for showing me how to stitch, even though we couldnt meet up on the last day.

I finished the bag, but I screwed up on the blind stich...I talked to Felix about it, and looked online to see how to do it, so I think my next one will be better

I think I might name my first bag Mom Tosher......but maybe not.

whoaaaaaaaaa what a trip!!!

Today is the monday after the end of the Berlin footbag summer.

Oh boy, I really should have been writing down some of the crazy stuff that´s happened over the last two weeks, I really regret that.

Here are some things I can remember..

- I had corn on the cob and I did the most insane thing totally by accident... I know this is going to sound like a crazy lie but I guarantee my sincerity... I somehow managed to eat all but two rows of corn, they were on complete opposite sides of the cob and freakishly they were almost perfect lines of single corns... fucked up! when I saw it I was SO surprised!!!

(hahaha yes, that is the most prominent memory that comes to mind)

- I got to MC the circle contest! It was SO thrilling! I was only a little terrified.

The crowd really got into it, I was glad I got to be a part of footbag history.

- I was a JUDGE at worlds this year! I was honored that they asked me to be one.

Oh on that topic I should tell a little story... So when the time came for my first judging job I completely fucked up and got there a few minutes late and so some other judge had to sit in for me.. this REALLY pissed off the organisers because showing up was one thing they really stressed.
I was rather upset after I fucked up, I felt like I dropped the ball and I was a disappointment to them.
So they were nice about it and told me I could just judge the next round of competitions so I was relieved. .. .. Until I did the EXACT same thing AGAIN!!!!!!!

FUCK I SUCK!!!!

This really really upset me and I got so down on myself, I hate being a fuck up!! I couldn´t believe I blew it TWICE. I was told that Dexter wanted to tear my head off and that everyone was mad at me. I felt on the brink of tears.. I decided that I wasn´t worthy of the job of judging since I´m such a fuck up and I gave my judges shirt back to Thorsten (an organiser) and I appologized most sincerely. He told me it wasn´t that bad and that really it just cost me a beer. Over the next few days I did manage to track down all the judges that had to fill in for me and I bought them all beers.

This story has a happy ending though. They weren´t too upset with me and actually asked me to judge again! yay! I showed up 10 minutes early and judged the HELL out of the comp.

I even got to judge on finals night! Judging was a fun experience and I learned alot about routines, especially at the long judges meeting where they discussed all that we should be looking for.

- Dexter Struz is a really good guy. I had formed opinions of him in the past before I knew him and I soon found out that they were inaccurate. He is far nicer and genuine than I ever expected, it was nice to find that out. Oh yeah, all the czechs are actually really nice. They taught me a wonderful czech tongue twister that says ´a cyclops pushing a ball from one trap door to another trap door´ in delightfully flowery language.

- Evan Lovely and Jeremiah are very good people! It´s unfortunate that Jere twisted his ankle before worlds but he still seemed to get alot out of the time. I feel like they brought alot to the atmosphere, it was nice having some north americans to talk to now and then.

Oh yeah, and Evans solar hits can´t be beat.

- Berlin is the most impressive city Ive ever seen in my whole life. No jokes, I plan on moving here as soon as it makes sense to do so.

- Tim Heun has been my host the whole time here in Berlin and he has been SO good to me! Every morning we have a relaxing breakfast with coffee, croisants, cheese and fruit and stuff. So nice!

- On the 8 hour bus ride from Frankfurt to Berlin I taught Tim, Mathias Lino-Schmidt and Katrina to make their first 32´s! I was so proud of my students, they all did so well!
The bag I made turned out to be one of the best Ive ever made, we were shredding it hard right away!

- The finals of the circle comp used a choice Mosher, of course!

I have to go do German homework, I will write lots and lots and lots more later, I have so much to say!

Sorry for leaving so much out, I will recount as much as I can ASAP.

Oh yeah, TJ is great.

Hey Tom,

I'm glad to hear that you're doing so well overseas! It sounds like you're having the time of your life! That makes me really glad. When you come back to North America, hopefully we can see each other again at Kickass 2. I'll have a bag waiting for you when I get to the event, I'm especially sure. If possible, I want to be you and Pengpeng's apprentice throughout my stay in that event.

I'm back in Canada!

Yay!

Best trip EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

I will post a bunch of stuff including pictures and all that crap like I tend to do.
