Scott Davidson would be a likely candidate. A year or two ago he went through a phase where he was hitting lots of tricks ending in flappers, like dynos, drifters, pdx whirls, and he does his flapper super flat and low like clippers. I personally didn't see him hit twirling flapper, but he'd be a good person to ask. He might not remember though
.
No offense or anything, but symp quantum dso is just a wontomic set legover. If you can do juantomic sets, then its not that hard. Granted, juantomic sets ARE rare, but they`ve been hit for quite some time now.
As for GS miraging pickup, do you mean like symp surging to opp pickup? Takumi has hit frontside surge, so I will ask him today.

No offense taken, but I don't understand why you're saying it's the same trick.. Jobs are the same (I think), but for example fairy eggbeater is not the same trick as fairy atomic opp legover. Same thing with bedwetter and shooting legover. Wouldn't they be considered uniques in shred 30? Also, they absolutely don't feel the same at all ; the wontons in wonton dso and wontomic set are not done exactly the same way (I don't know for others, but when I do them they aren't).C-Fan wrote:No offense or anything, but symp quantum dso is just a wontomic set legover. But you're right this trick is neither extremely creative nor extremely difficult, but it's a bit of both, that's what I meant. Also when you try wonton legover a few times and it becomes easy, it feels kinda natural to try and add an extra dex in there, I know other players also tried it.
By the way, has wontomic ss legover ever been hit?
I know some people might be able to hit it pretty easily, but it's not really a trick that comes to mind when you go for wontomic sets..

I think he means the symp miraging pickup done downtime -- like symp mantis with both dexes reversed.C-Fan wrote:As for GS miraging pickup, do you mean like symp surging to opp pickup? Takumi has hit frontside surge, so I will ask him today.
Is the symp surging actually done uptime? Is it completely different from his regular surging sets?

1. If by toe spinning drifter you mean toe vortex, then yes, it has been hit. We even got one (unsealed) on video in Australia, but I dunno what happened to that footage.
2. Serge: juantomic legover and wonton dso are definitely different tricks, just as shooting legover and bedwetter are. I just assumed you were doing a muted juantomic legover, and its actually possible that you are. I`d need to see video. For all intents and purposes though, I`d imagine the only way to clean this trick is to have the second dex be midtime, and the second dex in juantomic is pretty close to midtime too. I`d love to see video of how you are doing it, but I`m guessing the two tricks are pretty much the same.
3. Mike, good question: is Jorden`s trick downtime? Cause that`d be nasty hard. I definitely want to know. I asked Takumi yesterday about symp surging pick up, and he hit it on his second try... midstring!
4. On a similar note, has anybody else been doing symp surging sets? I know Ales and Felix would be likely candidates, but does anybody know for sure? And if so, what have they hit out of it? Takumi hits this set uptime now, and its definitely symposium (well, like pogo is symp) and different than regular surging. More details on this in my blog, I don`t want to go on a tangent here.

I'm still stuck on twirls, but how about twirling swirl? Symp twirling swirl?

Well the obviouse answer:
Is the dex before or after the spin!
Though I'm sure you knew that max.
I've scene some SERIOUS rev swirling blenders, than vaska does them sorta mid time, ie blender dex while spinning(or at least I think thats what I remember from a vid), and I could imagine someone like Jakob doing a rev swirling set gyro downtime swirl...
I can imagine a difference, though some moving pictures would help.
