Marco Hartig footbag review

About 6 weeks ago, I got a Marco Hartig 32 panel footbag for testing and review. I'll post a picture of it later tonight.

The stitching was quite even, and the bag was very round. Neither were perfect, but that doesn't seem to have affected the bag's performance. I would classify it as a mini, but not a mini mini. More of a standard mini

Marco chose to fill it about half with very heavy filler, so I found the bag pretty playable very soon after I got it. I think that once it breaks in more completely, I'll add some light fill to it to round it out just a bit.

I like this footbag very much. My whole crew used it for a long time at our last session, and although it's a relatively new bag, and although one of the players doesn't usually tend to use 32s, we all were able to hit good, controlled strings with it. It's a good footbag. I'm confident that, once Marco has practiced and tested his product to his satisfaction, he'll have quality footbags to provide for the community.

just wanted to update this post, this is the footbag I received from Marco. It's held up in many sessions, and been used for busting many big tricks. It kicks straight and true, delays very well, is not rolly, and stays pretty round in the air (I hate it when my footbags get pancakey mid string).

Any comments from PengPeng? I know she has a Marco footbag. Any comments from Marco? has the state of your stitching changed since I got this bag some time ago?

I like Marco footbags. He's a nice guy, and really wants to get his bags out there. I recommend buying them. See my stitcher contact info thread for more details!

I have two Marco bags and I can attest that they are stitched rather prettily. Not perfect looking, but I think it's the kind of bag with function over form. Loose gather so it's soft from the start. They are filled about half-way full and are pretty heavy at about 40-45g.

My Marcos are pretty new, so I haven't had much of an opportunity to shred them, but after one kicking session with my larger Marco, I have noticed a difference in the softness of the bag. I feel it will break in pretty quickly and well. I will post again when my bag is broken in and shreddable. Because of the low-gather, I don't think this bag will change in size dramatically when broken in, which is nice. I have little feet and smaller bags suit me better. The normal-sized Marco is just the size I like my bags to be.

My Marco mini mini is really tiny and I don't expect to play with it. It's my novelty Marco bag that I plan on keeping mint and adorable. Thanks Marco for adding to my pink footbag collection.

Here's a picture of them in relation to a golfball for comparison.

uhm,i dont think my style changed dramaticly.i just stich a bit deeper now cause i realized that sometimes notches tend to twist out,but thats past now.
the bigger of the two i send peng are my "regular" size.so thanks for the comparision pic peng.i dont possess a golf ball so i had no chance to put such a pic online yet

within germany and some states of europe it can be made by bank account transfer,but i prefer paypal.and since you life in the us,paypal is the best choice!

oh and 25 euro are around 35,-$us.

just too bring this back to the upper parts of the forum, changed my style alot. bags are now bigger, no more lead filling, seams are more popping out, the bags need break in now, like, real break in. well, i love the new style

and it feels even nicer.

before a friend looked atmy new bags and asked me how i got a logo on my bags. i was slightly confused and told him to show me what he means... he showed me my brand new felix bag with the planet footbag logo on. to him they looked alike. i dont want to claim things here, but thats a sign that i am moving into the right direction. (yes he knows who felix is, yes he knows what makes a bag a good bag!)
