There's also a donut place called Voodoo Donuts that only opens at night in downtown P-town. They used to sell nyquil filled donuts but were forced to stop. Between the two I think footbag-related eating will be at a record high.

Looking forward to seeing everyone very, very soon. :D

The time is near, this event is going to be very large. A couple of things, just to refresh,

This is information for those who are flying in. From the airport there is a monorail system that takes you right into the heart of Portland. I am recommending everyone flying in to hop on that, it is pretty fast and will bring you into the middle of everything. Here is the link to info about it

http://www.trimet.org/max/index.htm

Jump on the Red Line to City Center, and you can jump off it either
Lloyd Center/NE 11th Ave MAX Station (near the site and hotel)
or ride it another six stops and jump off right at footbag historic Pioneer Square, downtown in the middle of everything. From there we will get ya. There are a lot of people coming in at a lot of random times, so it is easier to meet people at the MAX points and give them a lift from there. I believe to ride it costs 1.95 adult, 1.30 youth/student. Again, my number is 503-380-4395, for when you get in town. More info to come!

Also, this event has been promoted heavily to non footbaggers (ie spectators and 'hackers'). I am very happy that there will be a strong showing of this demograhic. However, with a lot of people moving through, it also heightens the need for security. We are setting up a tent behind registration that actual footbaggers can put their bags for safety.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Quick alteration to the schedule, Rippin' Run will now be on Friday at 5pm, Circle will be 5pm on Saturday. The two are basically switched.

I also recommend bringing sleeping bags and pillows if at all possible if you are crashing at anyone's house, resources may be limited with the amount of people showing up.

It looks like the weather is going to be great for the open.

The highest forecast temperature is 88F. It barely gets that cool at night here in Vegas.

Hey all,
I am advising everyone who is flying to take the MAX into town, we will be doing demo stuff downtown (mainly at Pioneer Square, the MAX goes right to it) up until around 5pm, then it will be off to the Colonel Sumner's for registration, 6-9pm. Look forward to seeing everyone out here!
