Oi Daryl,

Since your atomics seem to be so nicely solid, may I be so free as to challenge you to hit

Rrrrrrrrubberman?

this summer wa tough - i got injured twice, resulting in two good months down the dump, both at highly critical times, cuz my game felt sooo on its way up. and the second time around aint done with yet - i played 3 hours at worlds, only twice since then. my ankles, especially the right one feel
crushed and stiff ( i got the worst flat feet in the world and i work two job
that arent helping at all in that rescpect ), i got these orthopedic insoles now,and they seem to work great .

If i take it easy, chances arent too bad that i can re-enter the world of shredmania - hopefully in my old way of "everyday, allday " :D .

Stuff i hit in july, the accursed :

both slapping pick ups

flip slapping mirage

tapping pickup>smear>dso and toeblur b2b alot

atomic legover>atomsmasher rpt
:D :D :D

thanx for the comments, guys - keep em coming !!!

Yay Footbag !

Toby, Bea, a new guy also named Toby and me had a little get2gether
at Olympiabad . It was a classic training session and i felt chaotic and
very happy throughout the whole sess - i was so exited about shredding
again that i couldnt really focus on anything for too long  .

Nonetheless i hit some highly satisfying shit, i ducked my atomic set
really nicely and i will hit something out of that pretty soon...
Toby1' progress is amazing, he picks up advice and other nu information
=trix damm fast, and even more notably , his style is beginning to slow down .
Bea was representing, as always, and her game sorta reached a new
level of solidity ( is that a word ?) - imo, she just needs a little more
variety to shine real bright . But, she's working on that, so all yo girls
better work a lil extra, cause Beatrix is bound to kick some serious
ass in the future  !!!

-------

old combos :smear -plo rpt ( strangely hard )
tap-atomsmasher rpt ( cake :)
5 cons of d.mirage-d.legover rpt
butter-pmir rpt-d.clip-d.clip-spin clip

new combos:drifter-spinning clipper
tap-tap-atom(run) bs

-------

all in all, a good session, but next time i play i should warm up more,
train with a bit of a plan and skool my bops more instead of torturing
my mashed feet with toe shuffle and symp whirls  !

- i'm back on playing at least twice a week now ; thats nothing compared my old ways, but i feel happy that i can play at all - still i am worried about progressing.

i feel i lost some routine with certain tricks, and the slowly, but surely
evolving good form and consistency of my clippers and butters
came to a harsh end :(

-but i can still string the same amount of guiltless(ten average) and
my toe game is going well - but still i cant stop daydreaming about how good i could be right now, if i wasnt injured off and on since march.

so this is what i hit the last times playing hacky :

atomic legover - quantum legover - d.mirage-butter-p.mir-atomic leg bs

7 contacts ducking legover-d.mir rpt

9 contacts of smear-tap rpt

tapping pick up-d.mirage rpt-short guiltless combo

tap-tap-atomsmasher-tap-tap

smear-tap-plo rpt-dlo-d.mir

plo-dlo rpt-run

pixie mirage-quantum mirage rpt that felt unreal :D

i also hit some small new tricks like both weaving mirages, both weaving
legovers, flip toe whirl, ducked my atomic sets and footed a buncha hard
trix...meh, i want to shred painless, more and so much better !!!

i ducked my atomic set really nicely
8O alpine legbeater?? i challenge you to hit it before me!
i'd love to see you add more duckings from clip set to your strings.
props on smear>toe blur, must be great hitting it on a consistant basis, i dig that feeling when attempting smear>fear
have you tried cutting your insoles on the inside (damit se ungefähr durchgängig von der höhe sind)? doesn't decrease the effect but helps (1% at least!) with clipper (for me).

I'm still shifting back and forth from old mens' depression ( = my feet hurt + i wont become the black Vasek ) and the nike ( just do it ) philosophy .

I was playing some in the last few weeks, maby 5 times mostly with Bea,
mainly focusing on whirl, drifter, dlo and getting some hard links more solid . I miss the old times, when i was able to play everyday and at all
times and it feels weird when something that was someting like your "life"
shrinks to a mere spare time activity .

I have trouble recalling the new stuff that i ve hit over the last weeks,
but i hit some flip swirls finally, i stepped out of both whirls and stuff.

Yesterday i had a real nice drilling event down at the gym with Grisha
from Paris . He helped me out a great deal with a number of trix,
most notably me taught me to hit eggbeater bs :D

i go and play some now and tomorrow i`ll meet up with the infamous
Beatrix - so ther is still hope

Thanx for Flav and Stengo for posting, even if i dont !

lol :D :D :D

I'm back to playing 3-4 times a week, wich feels great - memories of
not so distant triumphs, a flood of high energy vids and wearing these
crazy insoles whilst shredding got me back on track.

Most of these sessions consist of reworking all the basics ( my right
foot clip was close to death ) and trying to develop something like
good form with the few trix i can hit consistently.

I really like whirls, dlos and drifters at the moment and hopefully
i can say the same thing about osis and butter soon aswell :D

At mondays gym session i hit some nice toe guiltless and a longish
tilt free run at the end, plus a new trick - gyro dlo .
I was using Mathieu G.s' tips and remembered what Ales said about
the beauty of hitting a trick with good, clean form/control, and it worked.

yo D, great to hear you're back on tracks again, already had worries 'bout your footbag career..

as you asked for some hints for butterfly, here we are..
    2xclipper>andere seite>rpt, 5minuten, dann infinity, also toe butter>ss clipper>inf>ssclipper etc.
  • fusszehen auf die sohle pressen
sorry man..but you asked for it..

quantum legover>paradon (first try )

parkwalk>ducking pdx mirage>dimwalk

Last Wednesday : i remember stronger guiltless runs with a lot of toe tricks,
i also worked on ducking and pixie drills, drifters and consecutive spinning clippers.

the most memorable feature from my side was that i started every run with
different tricks/themes - thats a really good thing, since for having hit/skooled
not the smallest number of tricks i tend to hit the same old shit over and over .
I felt really strong that day and happy with my game plus
shredding with Beatrix is so chill .

Due to feet that behaved like crushed ice, work, drunkeness and school
i didnt shred until today :( .

Todays Achievements :

ducking mirage>atomsmasher>rpt>d.mirage>smear>dlo>plo>butter>drop on sp.
clipper

tap>butterfly>pdx mirage>dlo>smear>plo>plo>plo>drp on gyro toe

DSO>DSO
8) + that was what we over here call :
a schwere geburt" . when you'd already been close to a combo
many a times, the feeling you have finally hitting it gives you some satisfaction, but not too much happiness . voila .

clip set dlo>ss dlo>ss dlo>run with another toe dlo

butter>blur>butter>blur>butter>ripwalk

dlo>atomsmasher>dlo>at..drop a lot

paradon>spinning clipper mmmhhh

- i also drilled smear>paradon>pdx mirage, shoe>smear>butter and
butter>whirl rpt - all things i will skool a lot more

- tricks like pdx whirl, barfly and far swirl that demand that sexy hip action will be focused on aswell :!:

i hit spinning paradox whirl, but i fucked up the hand catch, so meh .

I want to see some of that sexy hip action on video. 8)
Was spinning paradox whirl, the secret trick? I bet you can seal it soon.
