Oh yeah, I'm feeling a bit better, my cold is almost gone. I've been keepin on my Bob Evans get well plan of Chicken noodles over mashed potatos and biscuits. I'm gonna attempt to shred over at Jackson park, prolly gonna sweat to death, but as of now I'm ready and hydrated. Goal = light feet long strings.

Edit: Just played infront of my house... SO HOT AND HUMID !!!! I sweat... oh, couple buckets. I accomplished the light on my feet goal, felt great ! Hit drifter > pdx drifter > rpt > rpt > rpt. revup > fairy muted clipper > rpt. I didn't hit superfly today, but it was the best one yet feeling wise, I shoulda nailed it. I'm starting to feel a lot more comfortable in the air with the dexes. Same goes for the flip ps whirl, best feeling one...but I missed it, haha.

Other than that, my lewd bag is breaking in beautifully. Once I get my camera, I'm gonna take some pictures of my bags and such. Right now I've got 3 bags I play with, I've got others but I've pretty much retired them. Pipenberg (money bag))dark green and green, Lewd bag (Gucci) dark red and zebra print , and my Aiden bag (green, olive, and orange). I sure do miss Lonn Irish's bags... , but these current bags are getting pretty prime <3.

Played some footbag with Brad yesterday after work. Told Brad to stop by my house and pick up my shoes because I forgot them. If he couldn't get in, no biggy, I had lavers in my trunk. I haven't shred with lavers for a good while, and now I'm gonna make sure it's gonna be a longer while. My string length and inside surface consistancy stunk, it was just like the good ole days when my strings were short and sweeter. Shorter and sweeter than they currently are, hard to believe. Didn't really hit anything notable, had a neat concept of barfly wauxspin. I know that Ryan T. named torque wauxspin jug handle so Brad said call it mug handle, before that I thought barspin would be neat. Oh well, who the f really cares, I'm usually opposed to names and such.

I'm so fricken pumped to get my packages...the thing though is they split the packages so they're coming from 2 different locations. One came from Ontario, CA & one from Memphis, TN. So I've got one package that is supposed to come in today - camera and tripod. The other package will arrive tomorrow, radar detector & memory. So today I'll be taking pictures, uploading them, and then deleting what is on my tiny little stock memory card. Prolly comes with a 16 mb or maybe if I'm lucky a 32 mb card. Anyways, enough mumbo jumbo about my camera.

I'm planning on making it out to Funtastiks. I think I've convinced Brad to go too ! It should be the weekend of Sept. 2nd - 4th. So hopefully I'll ride out after work on Friday night to Caleb's and then cartrip to Funtastiks, yay :P Last tidbit of news- just washed my semidirty Lewd bag, it's gettin pimp. The material is a bit thick so it should be a marathon runner and be gold in the end. Peace !

Tip of the day: Just do it.

I recently got a new pair of lavers, and after not having played in lavers in about 6 months it wa really hard to switch back. i still play in my G-units but I can have a decent shred in the lavers too. It just took me a little adjusting.

hope you and brad make it out to funtastiks, I'm really trying to make it too.

I'm really glad the bag I made for you is turning out great. I really think that bag was one of the best I've ever made. I hope to shred with it at Funtastiks too!

Later,

Had a horrible session this evening after work. I don't know what has thrown me off, but I was way off tonight. ugh. Highlights : drop > pickup. Even though I had a shitty session, there was a very nice angel cake with pineapple creamish stuff in the fridge...so that was nice.

My package was rescheduled to arrive tomorrow, first time that has ever happened from newegg. They are either right on time or a day early, so I'll let this one slide. I was actually planning on taking some footbag photos, but I was playing so bad I didn't want to record that moment in time. Atleast tomorrow is Friday *le sigh*.

What a fucked up day yesterday was, life handed me lemonade...and then took it way and didn't even refund me my fuckin lemons. Let's see...I got my sweet package in with memory and radar detector, so that's cool. Yeah, so after work I headed over to Richard's bar to have a pitcher with my buddies. Downed that and had a 40 and took off. Oh yeah, I was wearing my sweet new Shred Like Chuck shirt that Emily sent me, I owe her $18 for that one.

Anyways, I'm at home eatin some pizza, laughin my ass off at who knows what, and I smash my fist down on the coffee table in the middle.* CRAAAASH* I don't know how my herculian forces shattered the glass, but the huge glass broke and crashed on the floor, fuuuucked up. The laughs stopped quickly with * w t f faces *. So that's that and later I decide to go to the Marina, it's some nifty bar / club and it actually wasn't too bad. I saw a lot of people I used to know in highshool. The night was already gettin kinda wierd with the whole table crashing thing so things that followed were equally fucked up. As of now I'm pretty pissed and scared that my brand new camera with a gig of memory is gone, fucking gone. I remember taking it there with me although I was drunk I coulda done something else with it. My main worries is someone swiped it while I was there... My main hope is it's in the car that drove me out there... god I hope I didn't lose that. So yeah, got my groove on and took off. Luckily I didn't drink any there or my night would have been more fucked.

So we're home and it's about 3 am cause we went ot get breakfast burritos at Mcdonalds and I see these cops flying through the lights. They throw on there lights and just hawl ass and then I see them take a left and turn them off. So pretty much to my eyes it looked like they were just fuckin around parkersburg doin time trials or something. Anyways, I wanna test my new detector out so I drive around. Well, I find where these douche bags were goin and I see 3-4 cop cars with 3 of them out just talkin havin a grand ole time. Nothin special so I take off. 5 minutes later I get pulled over...great. So pretty much it goes like this.

Cop: You in a hurry to get somewhere?
- No, just heading home.
Cop: God it wreeks of beer in here, how much hvae you all been drinking. Let's see some ID's.
- Sure thing
Cop: Why do you have your windows up so high?
** if anyone watched the police and your rights video in the kicking circle, they advised the windows up a bit so they couldn't poke their heads in the car ** lol
- Just where I left it.
Cop: So what is all this stuff in the back? Why do you have a microwave and a dvd player back there ?
- I was helping somebody move, they let us have that stuff.
Cop: So what are you all doing out ?
- Just getting some Mcdonalds
Cop: What are you doing 14 blocks out this way?
- 14 miles ? that's a bit much
Cop: 14 blocks, not miles.
- Oh. oh, well, truthfully, I saw you guys driving real fast through some lights and I was curious to what was going on.
** So then this bullshit talk goes on for a while **
Cop: Please step out of the car. Anything in your pockets, any weapons, drugs ?
- Just my footbag
Cop: So who all was drinkin in there.
- Pretty much everyone in there, but I'm not that sure, I wasn't hanging out with them that much.
Cop: How much have you had.
- Seriously, I stopped drinkin about 8 PM, I had a couple beers. Other than that I haven't drank anything else. I feel fine.
Cop: Ok, keep your eyes on the flashlight *shines on the ground*
Cop: Ok now, keep your eye on the tip of my finger and follow it. * waves it back and fourth for about 2 minutes...yes 2 minutes. He really tried to throw a couple fakes to get me. While he was doin that the other cop was watching me and tryin to see how drunk I was. Too bad I'ma pro biiiitch !! I stuck the landing and didn't sway an inch.
Cop: Ok, please wait in your car.
So basically he gets me my stuff back and says.
Cop: Go home.
- Sure thing

My gripe after that is how anal and fearful people get when cops are involved. I'm driving home like I usually do, I always speed, and so does everyone else. I'm going oooh 39 - 40 in a 35, whoopty fuckin do follown the cops that pulled me over. So Brad says " slow down man, slow down man. speed limit is 35 " like I'm a retard that is new to the city and just learned how to drive. Josh is in the back. " Here comes your turn man, get your blinker on" I mean really, I'm behind a cop that can't clock me, even if he could, I don't care, I know how to drive. My main point is like I said before, people just get way to excited over cops. Don't get me wrong, I was having that sobriety test and my heart was pounding out my chest, but there are times when you should and shouldn't be nervous over things like that. 4 mph over the speed limit... OMG NO !

Anyways, I'm basically just pissed that my camera is MIA as of now.

That's cool that that video helped you out. It sounded at first like the cop was trying to mindgame you. I'm pretty surprised they didn't give you a DUI, but I guess I don't know the circumstances that well.

I can understand, though, when people slow down and act more cautious around cop cars. I see as this: if you drive 39 in a 35 they can be justified to stop you, but if you're going 35 in a 35 they have a lot less reason to pull you over. I suppose that's the "better safe than sorry" mantra, but it worked out alright for you either way.

Hope you find your camera. :S

Hey, was it my bag that was with you when you got pulled over?

Yeah, I totally feel for you and your camera. I tend to lose alot of my stuff all the time. Just a few weeks ago, I lost my cellphone somewhere. Thankfully some good samaritan called my home number and I got it back. But for cameras that's a different story. I hope you find it.

Everything seems to have realigned. I've got my camera back and all is well in my world. I played today at Jackson park tennis courts and ripped. Everything felt good and I could have played for hours over end. After I got done playing my buddy Mike invited me over to play some hack with these other guys. So I went over and showed them a few things, they all crapped themselves. Most of them have heard about freestyle and new a couple things, but they were still all awe struck. One guy Joe had lavers and a new 'juice' footbag. I've met him before, but never kicked with him. He said he saw me shredding on the flood wall next to grand central when I was making my tripod battle vid. I also invited him to Funtastiks, so he might be going to his first event, definitely a good first event.

That 3rd pic from your second to last post is gold. The others were pretty blurry to see what you're doing.

And oh yeah, straight pimpin' with Dee.

Well, I was using a setting that would do that if there were motion, so that is what I was going for. Well actually...I didn't know it would do that at first and when I was done taking a set of pictures I liked what I saw. It really shows all the motion that goes into freestyle.

Anyways, I played last night at the clinic and played pretty well. Took a bit to warm up, but once warmed up everything went well. I'm going to dedicate a lot more of my time to shred 30 practice. I've been practicing the first half and I can't really hit it consistantly. I've noticed I've got hundreds of links, but when I put it all together, it falls apart. So I'm breaking everything down and trying a lot of different combos and trying to get it consistant enough to nail in comp. I hope this time around I'm a lot more ready than at SCSO.

I was going to record some with my camera and take pics on the tripod, but for whatever reason my batteries weren't fully charged... :?: Beautiful day out today, maybe I'll play again. I want to start putting in more hours to get myself ready for Funtastiks. Dianne is off work today so I'm doubting I'll have time for footbag... T_T It's one or the other, and if I neglect footbag, it won't talk back.

No idea, and no idea how you can see that ! I don't believe I've ever hit diving whirl...I've hit ducking whirl and diving symp whirl...so maybe I should give that a go. Anyways...I played for almost 2 hours with Brad after work today, mucho fun !! Towards the end we cracked out the camera and snapped away some pictures.

Some highlights were, rubberman into a run :) I hit that one last session too. 5x atomsmashers, rev swirl > swirl bsos and then ripwalk > ripstein in the same string *pumped*, superfly and many footed variants, 65 bop string, worked on some shred 30, finally got through 16 contacts, datw bsos, lots of double down variants in one string (paradon, barfly, barrage, double down bsosness), and good shred all night :)

Pretty good weekend I'd say. Been playin with my camera a lot and Dee as well. I played a bit today since the weather was just pure gorgous, problem was I was a bit hung over. Not a big deal cause I felt pretty damned good, it was just hard to muster the energy to get out of the house. I met up with Brad at City Park bball courts and played for about an hour. I was playin pretty well, hit 22 drifters b2b and shit was clickin. I really get good energy when I'm under the sun, but I think my body wasn't warmed up enough for eggbeaters, went for atomic eggbeater and kinda tweaked my hip. I did hit flip pigbeater for the first time, first try :) . So it was kinda a short session cause I wanted to push, but my hip didn't.

The same kids are usually hangin around city park and they're so mouthy, quite annoying. A couple of them are respectful, and then a couple are just loud mouth asses. I let a couple of them try to kick footbag, and then one of them just booted it really hard. Luckily I didn't blow up and beat the shit out of an underager, I'm usually pretty lax bout stuff like that. One time is enough, try anything with me again, nope, not happening. Anyways, that was a while ago. Ya got like the usual 6-8 wiggers and one cute young blond that is prolly like 17 carrying around a baby, it's pretty sad. "Hey, you 2 brothers?" Cause Brad and I luckily had the same plain white shirt on and blue adidas shorts. haha, we're such losers, I swear we didn't plan it. So after they run their mouths a little, they ask for a dollar, haha. Brad said he didn't, I said I did, but I'm keepin it. I usually don't care throwin a dollar here or there when people need it, but screw those kids, punks damn it, punks !!! * i sound like I'm getting old *.

I'm so greatful when I shred in bigger cities and people actually show some interest. Something about this area that doesn't allow people to think outside the box. Anything outside of the norm is just so foreign that it is 'silly' or something like that. Not everyone is like that, just a high ratio. Anyways... enough babbling about the good ole mid-ohio valley culture, time for some pictures !

Somehow, Dee is still stickin with me after seein me plastered and just seeing how I live, amazing. I do believe she is a keeper. She bought me cheesecake from Olive Garden as a suprise, what a sweetheart !

This is what kills you.

Fantastic. Love the photos John :)

Do you ever feel guilty for not having longer sessions? I kicked for, like, an hour and a half and got through 2/5 of what I wanted to do and started feeling like it was unproductive. Does that ever happen with you?

PS, I was also a bit hungover too. Go drinking!

Played at the park today with brad, he said this is going to be our last summer session in parkersburg. Hard to believe it's already went by, but that's the story of our lives, right ? Anyways, I played alright and yet again tweaked out my hip later into the game. Only memorable thing I can remember on my part was flip smudge > ss butter > pdx eggbeater > op butter > pdx eggbeater > spinning clipper > whatever. I would have shred longer and harder, buy my hip started bothering me...that and these young girls started watching us. One of my friends younger sister and her friends, so I let them kick with us a bit. Anyways...pictures !
