Yeah, a lot of people do it. It makes Pixie, Fairy sets a lot easier.

correction: it means you can do pixies and fairies with bad form. Yes it's easier, but do you want a dope set or some piddly little slide-off-your-foot kind of thing? My advice, keep the wings. Pixie and Fairy aren't that hard to learn properly.

I cut the toe walls off my first lavers. and I can honestly say I don't plan to do it on any of my other pairs. I guess I found it useful to learn pixie at first, but then I realized how to do the set proper and I find I much prefer having toe walls. I dunno why.

I cut off the eyelets for my first pair of G-units. It gave my toe sets bad form. I'm considering in doing the Hood's House tubing mod to save the pair of shoes, though.

hmm..i think my pixie is pretty good, its a deep dex and comes off my toe fine..but idk i dont use toe walls

mods:
-Brocka cut
-Replaced insoles (spencos)
-toe walls removed (bitches!!

)
-inside serface replaced with grippy-mesh (usually put under placemats and stuff to keep it from sliding around)
-Toe surface replaced with facile
-Lacing mod

I want to paint the outside serface. I'm thinking about painting RAW on one and SKO on the other in white fabric paint. ...that'd be cool.

I cut off the eyelets on my first pair, and a word of advice - if you're going to do it be very careful of the part that attaches the toe surface to the walls of the shoe. It's not that strong, and if you accidentally cut it or have it rip, the surface is nowhere near as good.
