1. First off, great vid. Thanks for putting that together.

2. In the future, could you post a link to the footbag.org gallery that contains the video, as opposed to directly linking to the video? There was a thread (which I somehow cant find) where Steve G. explains why its a bad thing, and asks that we all try and not directly link to .org vids in the future.

3. There is lots of great shred in here, but there's also lots of thin/the tricks. Do people not notice this, or don't care? Surely the editor of this vid (Mads in this case, but editors in general) must watch the footage repeatedly when making a video, yet thin/the tricks still find their way onto them. In complete seriousness I am asking: are people aware of the "the," but don't care; or are people unable to see that tricks are the?

4. This is really minor, but "talents" should be spelled with one L. If this video was sloppily put together, I wouldn't even comment. But the editing, music, camera variety, and everything else looked so good and professional, that this error really stood out to me.

Just want to reiterate again that I really liked this video on the whole, and thank you for posting it.

In most cases its the first, but in this case I just disagree that there are "a lot" of thes. Just watched the vid several times and I count 3 maybe questional tricks, all of which look fine if not "looking" for thes.

Ken, some poeple dont care about the tricks on video.
I see them and I could'nt care less ie: 2 nemesis in my circle video.
I make my videos to show the vibe of an event, or of a shred session, not to show how clean tricks are.
I don't know about others, or Mads, but I certainly think other editors just want to share what they filmed, either clean or not, who cares, especially when you film only 30 minutes and want to make a video with as much variety as possible.

If you want every video to have only clean moves, expect about 90% less videos out there, and barely no hardcore links.

Everybody's style just can't be as clean as yours Ken. Nor their eyes as sharp..

Wow…so many nice replies. Thanks to all for your hardcore props to the players and the video…. :D

i'm YouTubing this. I dont care what you say, Mads
Hi Stephen…go a head!

The camerwork was also quite dynamic at times, coming in close and moving with the players, thats awesome
Hi Ian…thanks a lot for noticing. It is kind of hard to get close to players without loosing the framing, but it is worth the try. When you succeed getting your close-ups they work great in videos. 8)
Great job capturing Blurry Whirr at such a nice angle, maybe you could send a HQ version to Eli so he can put it on Massive Section at Flipsider?
Wasn’t that trick captured during Euros? I think I saw that a while ago on a Vaska vid but maybe I’m wrong :?:

Hi Ken.

1. I am glad you liked the video.

2. Thanks for reminding me about the org.-link. I have read Steves thread, but I was tired and forgot when I uploaded this vid. I don’t think it will happen in the future, but please remind me if it does. Fortunately my two previous videos were linked to the gallery.

3. I don’t agree with you that there is a lot of thin&the tricks. In most cases, I don’t se it as a problem that videos have tricks that are thin/the, unless you are producing an instructional video. These minor floors are also part of our sport. It is important to include good runs even though they have one thin/the trick…it is important to include good attempts of cutting edge tricks…it is important to show what is going on in footbag, no matter what you consider the dangers to be. I don’t think people will not notice… I just don’t think they find it as an issue or a big problem.

4. Thanks for correcting me!

Hi Rick. I’m so glad you enjoyed this particular video. Man…we miss you and the sweet times we had in Prauge 2003. Actually, you are to blame that shred on madness level exists. These two talents really push the limits and its pretty scary stuff they work with these days. It makes me sweat too. 8O

hi Julien…Ha ha ha…I am more than pleased to hear from Rick, especially because he liked what he saw. :D

Hi Jake, it Vaska’s own production and perhaps he will sell them here one day: http://www.vaska.cz/en/footbag.php or perhaps at: http://www.planetfootbag.de/

I care, but then i feel awkward criticising the producer just because the player didnt complete the move. I know these moves could be cut from the vid but sometimes this screws with the rhythm of the run or the overall video.

Mads, Blurry Whirr was on video from Euros but not at such a nice angle and it hasnt appeared on Massive yet, so i dont know that Eli has a good copy he can use for Massive Section. It should definitely be there though!

Click on the link, then when you get to the .org page right-click "Direct Link To Movie", and click "Save Link Target As..."
