First people you ever played with?

Who were the first non beginner shredders you ever met up with and played with?

My first 3 were Ted Anderson, Mike Hansen, and Mike Strumpf. Much love to these three, i dont think i would be playing still if i hadnt gone to play with them.

Alex Urano and Dan Ednie were the first hardcore freestylers I shredded with, I've learnt a lot from them over the last 8 months.

Well, I played with Brad Nelson & Bob glasser, but then to actually meet up with was East Coasts... 2001 ? I think some of the first people I met was yacine and sebastien

I think I ran into Frank Gutowski many years ago when I was still hacking at one of the local festivals. Around that time I also came across a pair of shredders that were doing stepping b-flys (I foolishly thought they were hitting b-fly to ss b-fly) but I never caught their names. At my first tournament I met The Enlightener, G.F. Smoothie and Genzu. Then Sean Wingert helped me abundantly from my transition from hacker to freestyler.

i met up with elliot from mufreesboro, and that crew.

that was the first time i saw freestyle, the only 2 shredding were lee van sickle and brian... somehting....

The first time I met a freestyler or saw freestyle was in person at Worlds 99. Quite a shock, because I hadn't even seen A video, and I was just expecting hacky sack or something. Sooooo I saw everyone the first time.

For me, first was Tom Mosher...then after that I think maybe had a session with Ryan Seath, and then after that was Adam Greenwood. I'm pretty sure I met Greenwood before KICKASS...but it may have been after.

My brother goe to Case Western in Cleveland and we drove up there once and I met up with Josh Lewis (I think that's his last name) who lives bout 15-20 minutes outside of Cleveland.
