you don't need a paypal acct. to pay by paypal, only credit card (or even e-check, but takes longer). When you checkout (or they send you an invoice, I'm not sure how they have it setup), you simply pay like a regular credit card payment, with the option to open a paypal acct at the same time (really just a matter of choosing a password, then you can log back in any time, and use the other features). So in other words, if you don't want a paypal acct, just pay with your credit card, using paypal's shopping cart/invoice, and it works just the same as any website that takes credit cards.

that's how it used to be anyway, I don't know if they changed it.

I'm not sure how that'd work out with refunding extra money not used for shipping.

just goes right back to your credit card.

er, wait. I can't remember if paypal started allowing partial refunds or not. It's been so long... Assuming they allow partial refunds, then it would just be credited like I said, but if they just have to 'Send Money' to your email address, then yes you would need a paypal account to get your money.

Yeah sorry I should have been clearer, that is what I was wondering.

Maybe someone from planet footbag can clear this up... can you refund the excess shipping cost stright back to my credit card or do you need to credit it to a paypal account?

Size 14s for me...

Any plan from PF to produce bigger sizes, or are they going to stick with the sizes they have now? Just curious.

I played in quantums at the U.S Open for about a half hour.

I like them, but I think lavers are still better.

Not worth $100, but if you want to support the sport and have a good show to hack in, thats cool.

Overall the inside is better but the toe is really wack. But then again, I hated g-units at first when I got them. So just take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Thanks for the review David :)

Concerning credit card partial refunds:
I'm fairly sure paypal can do partial refunds stright to your credit card, Planet footbag refunded me 20 euros (so postage cost me 30 euros to New Zealand), and it didn't appear on my paypal account but the partial refund was recorded there so I assume it went back to my parents credit card :D

I will also write a review of quantums when mine arrive 8)

the reason the toes are somewhat strange feeling is due to the really thick insoles. I put in some spenco insoles that were thinner at the toe and the toe box felt great. It "pockets" alot like the laver toe.

sorry everyone: the mail account we had installed for quantum feedbacks ([email protected]) was apparently not working until beginning of this week.
so everyone who has provided feedback to this adress, please resend it. thank you!

I'll try to get round to posting a longer contribution about the quantum. who, how, why we made it, what to expect from the first version, etc. but i don't have the time right now. i'd apreciate if some of the people who were at the official release in frankfurt could answer some of the more urgent questions on the forum. thanx!

There are far more shredders in the US without quantums. The shipping is not 50Euros EFFECITVE. pf returns you the rest. (which means the shipping is around 10-20 Euros)

People should buy the pf-shoes although they're not using quantums for shred. Support footbag and its growth!

I am thinking of buying myself a nice Christmas present, and I was curious as to when the Quantum 2's are coming out (general)? If sometime in the spring, then I'll get my hands on some 01's, however, if their gonna come out for the holiday season I see no reason why not to wait..
