If you pretend to not know they're underage...

Maybe it's not illegal!

Why is it the last summer shred? September is usually pretty hot. You got 6 weeks left maybe a bit of october too.

I think our shred season here is March/April - September/October.

Well, I believe shortly Brad is going back to WVU (West Virginia University) It took me a while to get used to it last time, but I enjoy solo shredding now. I never thought I'd enjoy it, but I do. WV crew will be thin and spread out... I think Bob is just about done with footbag, I'm not too sure. I'm pretty sure once New Years Jam for chicago comes near, he'll start kicking some. All of us were stoked off of last years event and were saying the day it was over...I can't wait until next year. So hopefully that mentallity is still there with him, I know I'm always anxious for it to come around and Brad said he's ready to go and have a good time. :D We all miss the good company of CiC.

Last night I was just drinkin some beers by myself and chattin with Henry. We were gettin all excited about Chicago and such and I told him I was gonna start trainin pretty hard prior to it for the boxing match and footbag. Try to get leaner and bigger, get cut !! So I got thinkin while I was drinkin...why wait until then, why procrastinate better health. My short term goal is to not drink any more alcohol or soda untill Funtastiks. That and work more to better health, I haven't lifted in almost 2 weeks...I need to start back on that. So tonight after work, footbag > exercise.

Good call on the skimping on alcohol and soda. They're such a source of needless calories. I abstain from both, though the alcohol is for other reasons as well.

Keep playing hard. You're motivating and fun to read.

So I shredded pretty well yesterday. I was going to put a long and hard session in, but I only went for about 1hr and 10 min or so. I would have went longer, but Dee called off work so I wanted to be around for her. I found out she won't be coming to Funtastiks...I'm pretty bummed about it. I think it'd be a nice step towards our relation ship to be able to bring her to something like that. Oh well, I'm going to try to bring her to a family dinner to meet my mom, sister, and niece because they will all be in town before I leave for Funtastiks.

Anyways, footbag - I don't remember any highlights other than a couple mediocre things. I worked a lot on my symple swirls and such. I think that is the key to controlled swirl moves. I tried those for a couple minutes and then worked regular swirls and attempts at ripstein, they felt much more controlled. I'm gonna work my flipside until it doesn't feel awkward. Oh, one thing that was nice was dyno x 4 midstring. So yeah, after that session I took a shower and headed to the living room to watch some tv. Remember that coffee table I broke, yeah, it came back to bite me on the ass...actually, my heel. I walked in the room and stepped on a little broken piece of glass. Picked up my foot and pulled out the glass and my heel started bleeding. It's not too bad really...it's just sore today and a bit tender.

I was checking out the events on the Parkersburg homecoming that is this weekend and I found out they have a talent show. I think next year around I'll enter that with footbag. Should be an interesting experience for me. I've only competed once in shred 30, and twice in rippin run, so my crowd experience is pretty poor. My goal will to not be boo'd off stage by silly rednecks 8) Well, enough bloggering at work, its' about the end of this overcast Friday, peace.

Well, got back home today and it was pretty darned overcast. Since I was a bit tired I decided to nap it up and damn did we have a thunderstorm roll through. I thought lightning struck our hill a couple times, shit was mad loud ! I was afraid since i cracked the window open to hear the rain, a big ole bolt of lightning was going to come into my room. There was a couple strikes that made the hair in my ear stand up, and my head go under the pillow.

So later once it died down and I woke up, the sun kinda came out. I geared up and took off on my bike. I biked downtown and checked out what was left with the homecoming. To my suprise it was still pretty busy even though it just stormed. Iit was sprinkling on and off while I was there coastin around and weaving through the crowd, shame the weather wasn't gorgeous. I wanted to find a nice spot to shred, but it was kinda wierd not having anybody else and being there to shred. You'll see why it wasn't the best place to shred once you glance at the pics. So after that I road my bike around for the hell of it. I was cruisin to places I haven't been downtown and found an uber shred spot. It screamed " I'm an uuuuber shred spot, come footbag on me !" So I did :o .

Couple highlights were 22 drifters b2b, still haven't broken my 22 record, but I'm sure it'll be soon. I wanna nail 30 into a string. Well shoot, I can't remember anything else, but who cares, it was a great session. I snapped a little video with my camera so I'll post a string or 2. After my session I road around downtown and other parts of Parkersburg I've never really been to. I wish I would have had an odometer cause I think I took every foreign backroad tonight.

Luckily it was just a drop off to wet dirt and a railroad track, so I wasn't happy. If it were a creek I would have been a lot more pissed and prolly dropped a couple f bombs , . I had to get my G-units a lil bit dirty, and my bag was, but I'm still trying to get my bag nice and dirty before funtastiks to wash it off and have it super leet. As of now my Aiden bag is prime, O'mirken is a bit over-prime, Pipenberg is prime, and my lewd is T-minus 6 sessions and a washing to be prime.

So I've sessioned twice now since last time, and worked out about 3 times.. well, tonight will be my 3rd time since I've talked about it. My first session was pretty tight, I played in the clinic for a little over an hour and hit 25 drifters. I tried some crispy swifters, but was too slow on my swirls, in time. Downtime was a real bitch, but ever since I've started lifting this week, my hamstrings have been somewhat sore, so that has slowed my shred down a bit.

I don't remember a whole lot about my sessions other than in the whole or landmarks. I know last night I didn't hit anything remarkable or decent. I played at Jackson park tennis courts for a bit. These 2 tennis players came on the courts later and were super cool about it. They came on and waved, prolly like 18 years old and 21 years old or so.

"Hey man, are you like a professional hacky sacker or somethin ?"
- Kinda, I'm a low level one at that.

"I didn't know there were such things as professionals, I don't mean to sound negative about it or anything, I'm just kinda oblivious to it."
- Nah, it's cool man, most people are pretty oblivious to what I do.

"So are there like competitions and stuff for that ?"
- Actually I'm trying to get ready for one

"Really? We're super impressed by it, so just do your thing and we'll do ours."
- Thanks

So then I sessioned, and played meh. I wasn't really happy with how I was playing, but I was really sore in my hamstrings. I tried warming them up prior to the session, but no, they weren't agreeing with me. When I started practicing my shred 30, I could bearily get 6 contacts of my shred 30...I feel like I'm going to make an ass outta myself. I really wish I could respresent better, but it just takes practice practice practice. I tried recording my shred 30, but no luck with that, I just got frustrated after so many tries. So I tried to finish the night by recording some decent strings, I couldn't even get one.

"Hey goodluck at that competition, I'm sure you'll do good."
-Thanks, I'll need it, I don't think I'm going to do too well.

"No way dude, you're awesome"

"Yeah, don't underestimate yourself."

And that last line made my night completely worth while "Don't underestimate yourself." I need to always keep that in mind.

When I get home, I'll upload some random pictures I've shot. I don't think there are any of footbag, but oh well, this and that.

I tried helping D with coloring her hair, I in the process stained my fingertips.

I was talkin to Hen a week ago bout Chicago and we talked about maybe setting up some sort of Boxing Tournament. I'm pretty sure none of us know how to box, but there is this inflattable boxing ring with huge gloves where we can duke it out. I think it'd be pretty fun to set up brackets and have a go at it. So since then I took some pictures and started back on some lifting. I've been eating a lot better and have really kept up with everything else (footbag / exercise). School is coming up so I don't know how much that is gonna throw things off. Mixing School , work, footbag, exercise, girlfriend. We'll see... Anyways, I'm gonna shoot for some exercise plus footbag today. I could skip out on lifting cause I've been carrying tons of stuff up stairs for my mom's garage sale...

Practicing some rhythm and strikes...pretending it's Henry's head !

Speaking of TV...Evander Holyfield came out of retirement to box a West Virginian !! I was pumped to see old man Holyfield beat the hell out of Jeremy 'the beast' Bates. So this was right before the match and then I went to watch it at a resteraunt / bar - Buffalo Wild Wings. So many people were rooting for Bates, but I stuck with Holyfield, how can you boo a legend ?!? Anyways, I said it'd be done in 1st round, but he last it out and got beat on pretty bad towards the 2nd round. Ref called it as the 41 year old released some epic combos on him, it was awesome ! (I'm really not much of a boxing fan)

That's just a couple of the exercises I ilke to do. I have my own regimine I stick to, nothing too complicated. I like to think of it as my friend said - 'tuning a drum head'. I like to work opposite muscle groups in one day. So I will switch around a couple of my favorite exercises for others as long as I'm working each desired muscle. Throw in a couple good core exercises and wam bam thank you mam, it's a day. Sometimes full body, sometimes lower or upper. Hopefully by New Years Jam in chicago, I'll be a tuned human being.

I will never understand women. I can try as hard as I want, and I still fall deeper. I'll never give up since it's my one priority in life to carry out my genes, but god damn why do I make this shit so hard ? I need to be one of those insects who just find a mate, fuck, and die. Cause Apparently I'm only good at fucking, and I'm just makin that part up, I've never really heard someone say, damn John, you are good at fucking. BLARGH !!! I need to go to sleep now before I grow grey hairs, boulder-dash

Do you want to do this ? I don't know = No

Is it ok ? Yeah = No

Do you want to doooo this ? Sure = No

What do you want to do ? I don't know = I don't know

Do you care if I go there ? No = Yes

Do you want to see me ? Yeah = I don't know

Is there something wrong ? Uhm, I don't know = Yes

What's wrong ? I don't know = You

Is it me ? No, not really = It's me

Is there something wrong with you ? I don't know = It's you

And of course inbetween all of this nonsense is more baffling blunders I've stepped in , little microscopic doo-doos. You may have no idea what I'm talking about, but I'm not sure what I'm talking about either.

Now mind you, all those answers are all interchangable and completely random. The code that can not be broken. I went from happy-go-lucky Mahood to wtfmate Mahood in one phone call.

Edit:: I shall list my problems so I keep this in mind later, or atleast what I got out of the conversation.

- I don't put enough effort out to see each other.
- I don't communicate well enough.
- When she asks me what am I thinking, I damn well better say something.
- Make her feel special - flowers do not cut it bub.
- Do not make any plans over her days off, if the grass is tall, hire somebody else to cut the god damned grass.
- If I'm expecting a call from her at a certain time, call her just incase because maybe I was supposed to call her.
- If she reads all of this, run for the hills. Not the one I live on, one of those hills with this jungle brush. *remember to bring my machete* - For the thick jungle brush of course.

So Funtastiks was a great time. The weather had it's ups and downs, but come the last day was a gorgeous puffy white cloud and blue sky day. Too bad I was hung over, sore, naucious, sick, & then some.

Friday I introduced Dee to my mom, sister, brotherinlaw, & neice. Everyone got along really well even though Dee was pretty nervous. I've never seen her so quiet before. My sister and mom couldn't get over how pretty she was. They prolly thought I was gonna bring home a dog or somethin. Anyways, after that dinner I took off to Pittsburgh to see my boys. I was runnin on about 3 hours of sleep and pretty tired from the week. Of course when I get in and sit down for like 30 minutes, Caleb had a choice of parties for me to hop into. I couldn't resist and went out for the night. The parties were the usual 75+ people stuffed into one house with shitty music and a shitty basement with a couple kegs here and there.

I laughed so hard when we went to the house next door that was partyin as well. Jake and I walked in and everything is quiet for like 2 seconds, and then all of a sudden everyone starts singin and jumpin up and down to - shit...I forget the name of the song... it's so bad. This one girl I met a couple years ago and partied with her actually remembered who I was... she was like. You're... John !... John.. John Ma... Mahood !! John Mothafuckin Mahood !!! She of course was drunk and pretty excited to see me there. Pretty cool girl in my eyes, we were supposed to go wall climbing together, but those plans fell through, and somehow she still remembers my name. Of course when she was like, you remember my name. I say...uhhhhhhhhhh... no. hahaha.

Anyways, I've got about 70 pictures up so far of Funtastiks and I still have Monday to upload so I'll just link you to this neat lil site I'm using to organize my pictures. Once I get them all uploaded, I'll post the best ones :)
