Hey.

I played a lot of footbag the last few days. My legs still feel good, and Im getting a lot of practice in before worlds.

Over the last couple days...

I had a string that was like> run > ripwalk > infinity > blurriest ripwalk > infinity > ripwalk > blurriest

More torques and barrages and spins and swirls.
Im still worried about my shred and routine for worlds, but oh well.

I didnt really sleep last night, so I might have to take a nap before I shred today.

Love,
TJ

I am terrible at making routines, and shred30. I dont spend the time concnetrating on them. Oh well. I have never been this good at footbag, so SOMETHING will happen.

Yesterday I didnt shred because I needed a break. That means I SHRED today. I will work on

Shred 30
Routine

Basically I will just shred, and see what happens...

Im off to Germany tomorrow. I am done teaching for the day. I cant wait to get to Germany!!!!

Tomorrow I have to wake up at 5am to get to the airport on time. Then I have a one hour flight to TOkyo, at which point I have to get on a train for about 2 hours and travel to another airport, where I will meet the people that I am going with. It is going to be crazy!! I have to make a cd of the song I am using for routines, but before that, I have to pick out a song!!! God i am terrible at this.... I hope I dont regret it...

See everyone in Germany!!
Have a safe trip.

Love,
T

Good luck and have fun! Even if the routine doesn't go great, I'm sure it'll be worth doing it just for the confidence boost. You'll do well.

I really want to take the time to write about worlds, but now is not the time. I am finally getting the internet installed today (after about a 2.5 month wait) so I can maybe do it tonight...

I would like to thank everyone in the Frankurt footbag club for making my week in Frankfurt unforgettable. I would also like to thank everyone that I met, and havent seen in a long time, for reminding me not only how much fun footbag really is, but how lucky I am to be friends with all of you, the coolest people in the world.

Thank you.

TJ

PS
yesterday I broke my infinity record!
it is now

infinity x 128 (i can get more!)

I like the way that I have been thinking about footbag since worlds. I think it will help me out a lot in the long run...

teejay,

It was a fucking pleasure and a half getting to meet you!

I am so glad we got to spend so much time having fun and enjoying fun sticks.. and fun apples...

You always make me laugh and I eagerly look forward to the day we can be together again making absurdly crude jokes.

I miss you already!

My strong side mobius is getting better too. That feels good. swirls are getting better too. I am getting better too.

One thing is for sure. Working out is not only fun, and feels good, but helps your game out SO much.

I feel like something was hit yesterday, but I cant remember what.

I know I hit a milestone with swirls though, because with my weakside, I have a lot more control and I remember thinking yesterday 'only use your leg from the knee down!' and it worked. It hasnt worked like that ever.

Well then my first day on my way to Germany...

I wake up. Well, I guess I didn't really sleep. Debi let me stay at his house because it is a lot closer to the airport than from my place. Thanks Debi. My flight was from Osaka airport, at 7:05 am. That is really early for a flight, btw. The flight was to Tokyo Haneda airport, just over an hour long. Anyway, I woke feeling drunk, which would make sense because we were drinking that night, and I only got about 1 hour of sleep. Anywho, I was pumped. It was WORLDS!! I quickly and sloppily got dressed, thanked Debi for his kindess, packed up some stuff and was off. Luckily Debi had the internet, because up until 30 minutes before we went to bed, I thought I was going to Kansai Airport, also located in Osaka, but upon further inspection, my ticket said Osaka airport, which was different, and closer. Anyway, I made my way to the airport, got checked in, and then found somewhere to buy a beer :) . That beer made all the difference that morning. It made the flight to Tokyo a lot faster, and safer...
I received a newspaper on the way there and began to read it, as a stewardess anounced that we were about to start descending towards Haneda airport. Sweet!! Only a 2 hour train ride to Narita Internationl airport, then a 2 or so hour wait for my 1 oclock flight, and then a 12 hour flight to Frankfurt Interational Airport! I somehow made my way out of the airport, onto a train and to Narita with no problem. As luck would have it, Haseken and Takumi were already at the airport waitng for Morii (Molly), and myself. I kept in contact with them through out my train ride to the station btw...
I got to the station, met up with them, and not 15 minutes later Morii (Molly) arrived. There we were: Takumi, Haseken, Morii (Molly), and I, about to proceed through immigration, in what would turn out to be one HELL of a week in Germany.

In my next post, I will talk about things including:

Cute airport assistants
Why being a foreigner at a time like this is stupid
A 12 hour flight to frankfurt
And a 3 for 2 beer dealy

Thanks for reading,
T
