What side of Canada are you in? Forgive me, I'm not too knowledgable on Canadian geography...

Actually, what is the closest airport so I can see how expesnsive the tickets will be... I might just be able to show up!

Dang. I would love more than anything to make it to Hackrifice! This year is would be cutting it close and I don't think it's possible with me being MAD in debt.

I confirm for next year. :D

things aren't looking good for my comming to this event. Sorry, dude... I know that I'm perpetuating your negative outlook on us easterners' attendance at western jams/events. The only way that I'd be able to afford it is if I flew stand-by, but then things would be very sketchy as to how much time I'd acctually be able to spend at the event. I'd prolly arrive super l8 on firday and have to hang out at the airport all day sunday... it's no good. Plus my mom is already saying no. (<--BS  )

keep it real

Round trip tickets = $467 for me.... so it's looking rather bleak at this time. I am also going back to school here in tha fall and would have to miss a day of class, plus I think I'm quitting my job so that I can be a full time student and I'll only be getting $850 a month for any kind of school or recreation activities. I'm going to see about our sponsorship through my dad's company, and hopefully i can make it, but with plane tickets so high, and the fact that I'll have to have my passport with this new airport security, It looks like I may not make it. I am open to any suggestions though!

I hope Rob Fuller comes to Hackrifice; that would make it the best tournament in the world.

I finally received all my syllabi and was able to determine that I have no quizzes or midterms around that time. Air fare is pretty lame now though... I went with westjet. (I hope the times are ok)
