Hmmm. I sent Garrett a t-shirt long ago in exchange for 2 Drydens. He never got back to me, so I assumed the shirt got lost in the mail. I still think that is the most likely scenario, and I don't want to slag on his reputation when I've never even met him in person-
But if anyone sees him wearing a yellow t-shirt with a drawing of a Rod laver on it - punch him in the back of the head for me! Tell him Buck says 'hi'.

Hello everyone, This is Garrett Dryden maker of Dryden footbags. I am sorry to all of the people that havent got there bags in a long time. The reason that most of you havent got them is a combination of swamped with school, work, and Daryl Genz's orders and also due to the fact that all of my records have been ruined becasue me room flooded abotu 3 months ago.
Im srry i didnt see this shred with all your complaints earlyer but i havent got on modified for atleast a month and a half.
IF I OWE YOU FOOTBAGS THEN PM ME. I AM MORE THEN WILLING TO GET THEM TO YOU IF I FIND OUT WHO NEED THEM.
Peace,
Dryden

I've tried to shred with drydens. The problem is his filler. They seem nice when you get them. But all the sand leaks out within a week and they turn into air bags. And good luck on getting one. Either garrett has poison ivy or his basement gets flooded. Either way they will be on back order for the rest of your life.

fell apart.....
Yeah i liked my dryden for the first couple weeks. it was good for delays. but then it fell apart and dumped sand all over the place. thought about buying a new one.....in hopes that it would last longer, although i doubt it would, but 2 of my freinds ordered some beginning of June and still haven't gotten them.
He sells his bags on freedom footbags so you'd expect something good and him to be reputable and will send out bags if you contacted him in person like Richard Abshire. Instead, it seems like the situation is far from that.
I thought he was a little sketchy when he wanted a 32 from me in exchange for several Drydens. I told him I'd trade him something if I received those first and he agreed. He never sent them and I never sent a 32, so I'm at no loss. However, I feel bad for those who did send their end of the bargain and never received anything.
I think Daryl Genz should see this thread. I think through Freedom, you'll actually get your bag because Daryl has them in stock and will send them.

I work for Freedom Footbags. We do have trouble keeping them in stock. Right now were back ordered at least 10 bags. He said he had ten on the way but they accidentally got sent to his grandma. So were still waiting on them. I didn't mean to be so harsh in my last post. They are good bags. Just too floppy for me.

I bought mine in June when I didn't know anything about what made a good bag. I didn't even know people made their own then.BalinorNZ wrote:I am wondering... why don't you guys just buy good bags from respected stitchers? That way you actually get your bag, and it won't fall apart/ leak etc.
I will be sure to buy bags from respected people now.

I got my bags from Dryden today.
The 4 panel is freaking humongous. 0.0
12 panel is smallish, and filled mostly with sand (with buckshot). Probably in the 40 g range.
