I think it was mostly down to a lack of internet problem. But the Ken thing makes sense too.

You'll note, Matt, that he didn't go bitching on modified about it. He told us because we asked, and we're his friends. He's entitled to his own opinion and doesn't have to hang around if he doesn't want to, so comments like that are uncalled for.

its no secret, this place has turned from the community of freestylers to a fucking noob festival and baby sitting centre.

I miss the days when everyone here played freestyle, or was down with freestylers. There already were "resource" sites for noobs, but there was only one community.

At least it was a concious decision to destroy the place, and we can be happy knowing that at least two mods are really happy, and of course all the new people who don't play, can't do any tricks, and need to ask know how to modify their lavers.

True, Tsiangkun. But there is still an element of the community. It's pretty disappointing that it was a decision to do that, but I also see it as a progression of footbag. The bigger it gets, the more newbs we get coming on here, and changing the feel of the place. The upside is, footbag's getting bigger. I guess I wasn't around back in the really good "old days" though.
