Zach, I don't know where that hotel is either. I PM'ed u my #. If u r staying somehwere near downtown, it would be nice to have a jam up there. Try and find out and lemme know.
UIC Jams
I'm gonna be there round 12 in the quad (in the middle of the campus, by the lecture centers). The blue line takes you straight there. Get off @ the UIC-Halsted stop. Walk up the stairs not the long ramp, and follow the path cross Harrison street (where there is a You are Here Map) and keep going forward on the path eventually veering a bit left. There you will see pyramid-like lecture centers with a big open paved quad (that sounds dirty).
Millenium park sounds good to me if the hotel really is there. I just want to maximize time with Zach. If the fairmont hotel isn't downtown, traveling downtown and back takes a bunch of time.
2 plane tickets round trip chicago... $250... brian and i are buying tickets this week for the new year jam. i got a hold of scott... the dates should be 28th-30th. thats thursday through saturday. but scott said the dates arent official yet. he will post them on .org when they are ready.
we will fly in early wednesday morning (27th)... can someone pick us up from the airport? (not sure which airport yet) we will also need a way back to the airport sunday but its all good... buses and trains could work.

We'll meet at the cloudgate as planned... if the rain starts to get bad be we'll go to Zach's hotel (which is only 2 blocks away on Columbus near Lake) and figure things out from there... maybe even kick there.

I'm going to be by there, and if happens to not be raining, I may hook up with Mike who goes to school there and kick for a scoatch, but I'm just gonna cancel it anyway, so nobody comes all the way down and it starts raining and we have no place to go.
Hopefully this cloudy/rainy shit will be gone by wednesday.
