By the way I'm from Wroclaw and it's about 350 km from Warsaw - further that Prague... :P Better wait for Todexon, I'll most probably be there. Anyway the problem is  to get that fucking card to Szymon's computer so he could edit footage we take. That's embarrasing, I know  .

Today I had shin splits agaaaain. I don't think I'll ever get rid of them! :x

School tomorrow, agaaaain. Dunno what's worse, school won't get off me at least for the next year. :x

Wiktor is making a video from Świat Zośki and if I remember good you will be there, so we just have to wait few days.

Anz, stereotypes are bad thing but you have right at this point. There are/were some addhunters in our country. But usually these addhunters became good players in future (Setman, Damian Zarebski, Cod ;), I hope Olav too).

Me?! 8O

OMG! I didn't really play in front of the camera  beside a few shots, when I was doing massive stuff only... have I mentioned the situation when Wiktor ask me for sth massive, 'cause there is only a minute on the tape left? 100% polish addhinting will be shown...

But on the other side I'd love to see myself FINALLY in a video. Can't wait! :D

I'm not sure about this so we have to wait. Nontheless, he told me the stuff you hit when he was watching and that was awesome! He also told me that after your routine I wasn't tired at all. That's insane. We have to shred!

T O D E X O N # 7 - (subjective) report

Post by Olav »

Thank heaven for Todexon 7 :!:

I've been very busy :? since I got back from Prague, however I felt it was my duty to make a report this time especially as it was my first foreign competition. So, beginning right from the end... :D it was AWESOME! HUUUGE PROPS to all those guys who organized this event - good job! The same goes to Prague for... just being beautiful... :P ! But returning to the beginning and in more chronological order it looked more or less ;) like this...

 Thu, 4 V 2006 - here's where our journey begins...
 At first I should say a few words about the people I went with: Wojtas (who plays Freestyle too), his girlfriend Maja, Zuza and Marcin. Except for Wojtas I met them that day (oh, I saw Maja before... once ) but I truly can't imagine a better company for such an expedition! ;) We decided to meet at the railway station exactly at 7.40 am, but I was there already at 7.25 am  . Together we bought tickets both ways valid to Sunday  , what unexpectedly (later) turned into my defeat... :x Anyway the trip wasn't very exciting as it took us almost 7 hours (8.17 ~ 15.00?) to finally get to Prague. Thanks to Wojtas and his map  , we arrived safely to the "Na Korabe" Camp and registered there - I got bungalow number 7 (then I knew, the 7th Todexon belongs to me 8) ). Place looked very nice, and now I can say it was indeed. Than we wanted to see on our own eyes what's so special about Prague and taste the famous Czech beer :D. I'm afraid no words can possibly describe how great it was... 8O pure heaven :!: I think I'll keep that for myself.

 Fri, 5 V 2006 - day two of wandering through the Prague...
We woke up early, about 9 o'clock in the morning but untill we ate breakfast and girls got ready... :P it was already eleven! Next 6 hours we spent on sightseeing and... searching for places, where Vasek played of his last video and where he hit Rubberman... ( !!!). I came back to the camp at about 5 pm with Wojtas. We saw an entirely diferent place from what we had left :o . Many people, some of them I've already knew, some even famous, some playing Footbag Freestyle or just sitting drinking beer... so I put on my Lavers  , took my bags and after I had completely ignored stretching and warming up  , I started to play. And began to feel a terrible pain in my thighs and hips :?. Furthermore it was getting stronger and stronger, but I couldn't get the message to stop playing immediately and was pushing Barragings and Ripped Warriors though it cost me more exertion than usual... Damn I am S T U P I D ! :x Later I lerned it was sciatica. There was a players meeting after the shred and it looked more like sitting in a pub. Finally the registration started and every player got a wristband and... 50 BAGS! 8O Haha, few guys registered as a players and paid 450 Kc specially to get those bags! I figured it out that I can made one 32 panel bag from 3 Starbursts ;). Someone else had an idea to sell them during a show in town market and another guy though it's good for Golf. And I have to confess it really was a good idea :D. I went to the camp with Goku because we were starving! After we had eaten I went to sleep with an expectancy that the pain will disappear .

 Sat, 5 V 2006 - Todexon begins!
I woke up about 8 o'clock, maybe a bit ealier and felt the same pain as I had had when I gone to sleep the previous day  . Just Great! I had waited for this event almost since I got into Footbag and now just had to give up?! After the breakfast I sam Jakob Wagner hanging around and doing some physical experiments with a huge magnifying glass. :) I was sure he'll know how to solve my pain problem. After a few strange yoga exercises my terrible pain disappeared! 8O That was absolutely brilliant! 8)

We went to the Abaton club, where the whole tournament was held. As a contestent I got a purple wristband so I could enter to the room for the players only 8), where we could leave our stuff, with buffet  and lots of place to shred and warm up or just play 4-square. I went upstairs and saw another big room with a stage. I was like 'oh no, I won't pass these qualifications!' when I found out who's in my group. Max Kerkhoff, Michal Ostrowski... I wasn't optimistic at all :?! There was like six players in each of 4-5 (?) groups. Everything should start at 12.30, but there was a little ;) delay (fortunately for Budzik and Ners who arrived at 1 pm or even later). Freestyle Open Qualification round started. I was second in the group C. My routine went really good, everything as I planned, to the music. I had like 3 drops and then ended my routine with some Spinning Clippers > Spin Pdx Whirl > Spinning Osis > Indside Kick > Controlled TOE... DROP! :? I picked the bag and dropped a Marius... :x After my performance many good players told me it was superb, but I still wasn't optimistic :(, as usual :D. I couldn't believe I dropped that Marius... yees, it is a hard trick but I never drop on it! I really thought I'm not gonna play in the semifinals, but then came the results... 8O
1. Olaf Piwowar 10 p
2. Michal Ostrowski 15 p
Yep, I won my group 8). That really suprised me! :o Than I was allocated to the group with Honza Weber and Damian Budzik and started as penultimate, before Webslinger. I thought that nobody else is dangerous and the only way to get to the finals is to beat Damian . My routine wasn't that good as I expected, and I dropped that fucking Marius again :( (haha, the first thing I did after I went off the stage was hitting Marius > Mobius). Shit happens... :) Anyway I was third, but Honza wasn't 1st at all - Budzik played like crazy and won not only with Honza but also with everybody else... 8O except for Vasek of course, who generously ;) decided to play.
Meanwhile there was Shred 30 and Sick3. Honza won the shred, Riku was second after he played dropless! I played shred 30 for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE! I don't even blame myself for doing so many drops... but it made me motivated to prepare something next time . Vasek didn't compete.
Women Freestyle... weeell sorry , but I didn't see it (most probably was shredding outside than).
While we were shredding outside, Dexter came and asked me if I wanna compete sick 3, so I accepted 8). Hit Scorpion's Tail > Spin Pdx Whirl > Mobius as a very safety sick3 (better than nothing ) done in 2nd attempt (somehow I dropped Scorpion's Tail :? in the first one) and than tried Marius > Mobius > Ripped Warrior. Was close, but I couldn't made that Stepping from Mobius. I'm able to do it, but I guess it's still too hard for a sick3 :(. Vasek won hitting Janiwalker > Superfly > FS Flurry with ease  (and tried Blurriest > Bedwetter > TATW, didn't catch it). Felix hit a beast - Surreal > Whirlwind > Spin Pdx Blender which gave him second place. Honza with his Fog > Pixie Spinning Osis > Food Processor was third :?, Ales fourth with Flurry > Pixie Paradon > Backside Bedwetter. I can also remember Stefan Siegert hitting Frantic Legover > Dimwalk Swirl > Symp Bubbabeater on his last attempt ( should be higher!... ?).
Open Free Finals. I tried to remember as much as possible, but after 10 days I don't remember anything  except maybe for Vasek's routine which was, I'm pretty sure, dropless. I'm still waiting for any videos from the competition to bring memories... Anyway Vasek won, of course :P. Next Felix, Honza and Tomek Ostrowski representing Poland 8) on the 4th place! Congratulations!
Finally there was a party after it had ended. I spent it with Zuza, Maja and Wojtas. Oh, and I remember that circle with Ales, Riku, Andrew and Ners... it was fun even though I was drunk ;) and played more using my memory than eyes...

 Sun, 6 V 2006 - stay or not to stay... :?:
This time I woke up at about 6 o'clock am with a headache, as I expected :P. I could't sleep, mostly because of a decision I had to make  . My train ticket terminated on Sunday, my friends were leaving on Sunday, but there was a shred on Sunday... :( and it was Sunday! It was extremely hard, but I decided not to stay on shred  and the same go with Wojtas and the rest. It wasn't a nice trip back to Wroclaw - I didn't want to leave Prague , I really liked this city. And didn't wanna leave all the footbagers , who were shredding somewhere without me... I was sad, and still am :(. The only thing that keeps me alive is  a hope, that I'll be able to go to Frankfurt.

I won't forget it :!:

Last friday we played in the city hall, there was Hania, Piechu, Budzik, Ners and me playing Freestyle. Many cool things were hit. I can remember my Void > Matador first try (8O and first time when I tried to do a Nuclear set out of Drifter :P), or Piechu's Whirlygyg > Spin Pdx Blender > Food Processor first try ;) and Montage > Whirlwind > Montage Rake fortunately dropped... but it looked promising.

Saturday session was probably one of the most surprising for me :o. When I was on my way to Morskie Oko (where we usually play; it's close to Ners' home but over 1 - 1,5 hour from me :x) Szymon wrote to me that he's ill and won't be able to play :(. It was too late for me to go back so I took the keys from him and went to play alone :?. Fortunately Dil come to play so I wasn't alone anymore. OK, what's so extraordinary about that day? Because it was the day when I decided to learn Blenders and had no idea how easy it'll turn out . I don't use Whirls (and Pixie/Fairy), but I learned them at the beginnings so now I have the picture of how should one look like. It was amazing how I discovered what I'm doing wrong in one moment :!:, and hitting Blender using that remark in another - I didn't see it's gonna fall on my shoe... I just K N E W I T ! 8O Tried with another with the same result - I felt like being able to hit whatever from that trick. Then hit my first Food Processor  in the first attempt and flipside Food Processor :? right after that. Than Spin Pdx Blender  and dropped on its flipside version (but hit it later, also to some Ripwalks 8) ). Also hit Mind Bender second try ever :o. And Gangsta Party  at the end of that session. I guess it's just much easier to learn Blenders with my ankles...

Sorry for all the mistakes... I tried to watch out but I haven't got enough time... :(

Hope to see you all in Frankfurt... if I make it! :)

Edit: I cut this post a bit, it took too much space...

Next month looks promising...

1) Polish Footbag Championships 2006 (THIS WEEKEND!) - my routine / shred 30 doesn't exist . I'm totally NOT prepared, but still optimistic. I believe I'll make it till worlds with my shred 30 (played it only once ever, on Tdx :P), routine and doubles routine. It sounds VERY optimistic...

2) 27th IFPA WORLD FOOTBAG CHAMPIONSHIPS - still can't believe I am going :!: and can't imagine how great it will be! The biggest Footbag event on earth, so many Footbagers, only from Wroclaw - Hania, Budzik, Ners, Wojtas and me (might be more).

3) Berlin Footbag Summer 2006, where I'm going for 99% :!:. 2 weeks of pure footbag (!). Is there anything better than that?!

Good shred today, played with Ners and Budzik. Had power for long runs, right now I have on my mind

Stepping ss Clipper > Ripped Warrior (rpt.) midrun

And I tried some Eggbeaters like

Pdx Eggbeater - BSOS (flip for the first time in it :) ), then

PS Eggbeater - BS, and thought that I can try and so I did (and hit)...

Backside Bedwetter (wtf?! :o the day before I didn't think I can do any Symp Eggbeater and this trick was a matter of like 15 minutes?! :? well, I guess it just looks sick :P)

and that's all I remember.

Aaaaand I almost forgot... there are some new videos with me (FINALLY)! And with Ners, btw he made them. Props, Ners! :D I like those especially:

http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/8834 - Fearless!

http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/8843 - some Doubles Freestyle. I definitely recommend this kind of Fbg. It really is fun! :)

You can find them also in Videos section, there are two more vids.

(I'm that guy in white shorts, however on Polish Championships trailer I play in black ones)

All for now, cheers! :D

It's TOO HOT :!:

Had 1 short session since Polish Champs.

I feel like shit. :x

Frankfurt :D is the only thing that keeps me alive. We're going there on Saturday by train. It goes something about 5.30 am and we should be on place at 16-17 pm. By we I mean Hania, Budzik, Ners, Wojtas... at least 10 of us going this way, including me. And there are people going from Warsaw, Cracow and other cities... 8O Btw, expect to see me in Berlin too!

I played or... tried :? to play yesterday, but I discovered it very dificult as the temperature was over 30 degrees and it increased quickly during the shred... I felt baaaaad, shin splits came back :x, last time I shredded almost 2 weeks ago (pain in my leg + too hot + Ners lost the key to our gym so we couldn't play) on...

PL Championships. Probably everyone knows, that the NEW POLISH CHAMPION IS... Szymon Kalwak (Ners) from Wroclaw Footbag Club! He also won Sick 3 and was 3rd (?) in shred30. Props... Whole event went like this:

 Saturday. The frst day went slooooowly, it was all about Net, which isn't my strong side :P, so I played Freestyle. Didn't eat till 6 o'clock pm and played hard - won't do that NEVER again!

 Sunday. Freestyle day 8). I woke up early after few hours of sleeping and went to hala Orbita, where the whole thing was held. I arrived finally at 10 am, but there was a delay and then Szczeniu announced there will be no Intermediate Freestyle qualifications (only 1 round, later) so we had to wait some more time . That was boooooring. I FINALLY  decided to play my routine and give the music. Believe me it wasn't easy, I didn't have routine, form nor mood... :( Anyway, about 16 players in Open Freestyle, 2 groups, one of them harder (!) with Kierpca (Polish Champion 04), Budzik (this guy is well known, isn't he?), Gielnik (7th on Euros 05 & 06, usually plays dropless), Norek, Setman (these two are pretty good too) and... me . My routine went quite good, it had like 4 drops, most of it improvised , Marius at the end. After shred 30 (I didn't play; haven't prepared it so far ) Ners took me to help him count shred 30, and then Gielnik came and told me, I'm third in this group right after Kierpca and Budzik :?. I was sure he's joking (I thought I'll be 7th even though the others went not so good, as I expected) but it was true and I even got two "1" for TM :o! Finally I was 9th (after finals; more drops, dropped Marius, improvised even more  Vortex > Void and other weird stuff) and was angry I didn't prepared this routine better . Level of this tournament was AMAZING 8O! I didn't play very well, but the tournament was fun, so I can't complain :). What can I say more?

I've just passed up the last chance to practice routine :?, shred, anything. But maybe  the break will do me good? We'll see. I shouldn't think about it anymore.

See You all in Frankfurt. It's gonna be great, no doubt on that!

School starts soon... final exams in 8 months 8O. Sometimes I think how cool would life be without those few stupid moments in it :(

But come on! We still have a few days for shredding! Guys from Lodz are comming today and we expect to see some shredders from Strzelin too, that's gonna be a really good shred! Since I got back from Berlin everythings goes so quickly, days are passing and I feel like I'm doing nothing, just wasting my time . But that's not true. I wake up late but I also go to sleep late (sleeping 10-11 h). Then I'm drawing, it takes me 3 h or even more (I'm going to study architecture but first I have to pass an exam :x, that's why I spend so much time on this one thing). I'm always trying to find some time for Footbag (I'll write more about how much/often do I play next time). And when I'm at home I use my free time... learning math . Don't even ask... I just like it (but I need it too). Everything else looks rather normal , but maybe doing these 3 things everyday makes me thinking I'm doing nothing? 24 h - Sleeping, eating, drawing... = not much time left for anything else . OK, that's enought of my today's "rozkmina". Huge PROPS for anybody who knows what does it mean.

Anyway I should write a few words about PL Champs, Worlds, Berlin Fbg Summer. But I'm not going to write much, like I did after Todexon. So, Polish Championships. No, wait. Didn't I write this already (searching...)? I did. That's even better :). World Championships :D. I think it's not possible to describe how great it was. All the tournaments I've ever been to were nothing comparing to Worlds. OK, few words about my participation. Routine. Qualifications went great! I was in group with Juho and Mikko, and placed 3rd. I totally fucked up the ending  dropping all the most important moves, but the beginning... 8) oh, more than half of that routine were dropless with stuff like Mobius, Janiwalker, Vortex > Void, Scorpion's Tail etc. But I learned that it's more artistic than technical competition and the only thing that REALLY counts are drops... it looks like in a few years all the routines will be dropless, ale the winner will be a player with the hardest routine. Played shred 30 2nd and 3rd time. got to the finals, in qualification round had 154 points (but I counted it and got about 30 more... :? I would like to see it SOOOOOO fucking much!). Final round was fun, but it went not so good. Doubles Free with Szymon... we didn't really prepare anything :P, nevertheless playing in finals on Worlds was great! This adventure surely pushed us to practice more Doubles. My Sick 3: Mobius > Mobius > Pdx Blender - 7th attempt, haven't try it before (got the idea almost on the stage :P). It wasn't enought to get to the finals. Finally I was Twenty-first in routine, the same place as Phil Morrison and Aleksi Airinen had (funny, both became a BAP members :P). But what I'm most proud of is the HUGE Polish Representation:!: 2 players (Ners, Tomek Ostrowski) got to the finals (like Czechs or Finns ) and we TOTALLY 8O dominated Doubles Freestyle! Two first places in Open Doubles (Ostrowscy brothers and Damian&Damian), three first places in Mixed Doubles (Gosia/Wiktor - great routine:!:, Gosia/Tomek and Hania/Ales). And of course Karolina Modrzejewska was 2nd in her routine and shred30 :o. I can't imagine a better demonstration. However it's a pity not all the best our players come, it could be even better with them 8O. I liked the idea of the Circle Contest. Actually I think it's the best Freestyle competition! I didn't play well, that's the only thing I did much worse than I thought :(, but it motivated me to play. Felix won and Ales was second, good to see Jorden on the podium too - I'm happy with the results :). I'm also happy that Jorden won shred30 - time for changes. If I had to choose one moment that brings smile on my face it definitely would be a part of Gielnik's routine when we all just started to sing, on impulse. :D And I won't forget Vasek fishing in the center of Frankfurt during the afterparty. Berlin was awesome too. First 3 days I spent playing with Ners, Gosia and Ostrowscy brothers (Hania and Ales joined us later) and trying to earn some money, that was fun. And the last thing about this journey - BOTS 8O. I've seen it twice so far and it's the best Footbag movie, IMO. Well, as far as I know it's the ONLY really professionally edited movie with storyline and such things. There's still so much to say, but I don't have so much time.

 Here are some of the things I've hit recently. I'm really happy about some of them, some of them I just practiced more. And some I've hit ealier, but long time ago and not with such ease :P. And only those few I can remember...
Pdx Torque > Pdx Blender (rpt.)
Spinning Osis > Inspinning Osis (rpt.)
:D - special dedication for Ners
Gauntlet - BS - I wanna learn them really good
Food Processor > Ripwalk (rpt.)
Food Processor, Spin Pdx Blender - BSOS (finally Blenders are easier)
Food Processor > Far Simple Swirl - BS
Torque > Far Simple Swirl (rpt.)
Simple Swirl > Far Simple Swirl (rpt.)
Mobius > Pdx Torque > Pdx Blender - BSOS
Pdx Torque > Ripwalk + Mobius > Ripwalk - BSOS
Vertigo, Mind Bender, Ducking Torque - BS
High Plains Drifter - BS
Butterfly Swirl - B2B
Atomic Drifter - BS
Ripwalk Swirl - BS
Spin Butterfly Swirl - BS
Zulu Rev Simple Swirl :P
Alpine Legbeater - BS (became easier)
Legfreazer (FINALLY! but I can only crank my foot like that only in my old Lavers... :?)
Big Apple > Food Processor (I dream about a beast with Superduperfly at the beginning )
run with Ripstein, Spin Simple Swirl - BS, Butterfly Swirl - BS, Simple Swirl - BS, Far Rev Swirl, Spin Butterfly Swirl
flip Superfly (finally, as I discovered Flails easier than I thought)

That's all for now, I'll try to write here more often...

Wednesday's shred was cool (that's probably because I met 3 people from Lodz :) playing Freestyle), but wasn't cool at the same time (that's because I felt very week that day and I shouldn't play. :( The same with Szymon and Rożo, I don't see them in such bad form often). Yesterday I didn't play but today I will (alone?).

 Last time I forgot about a video we made (actually Ners edited it  ) a week ago (it's in the video section too):

http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/9639

Some footage from South Park (best name for a park!), playing: Rozo, Ners and me. Nothing special from my side, but I hit Gyro Gauntlet (just few seconds of the tape were left  so I decided to try it... hit it in the 2nd attempt - I love those actions :D) and Cheese Processor. And here starts a huge Surging set cleanness discussion . Somebody said it was slurry... but wait! :P It wasn't (I set the bag waaay before dexing :!:, maybe it's hard to see it on this quality but I set it really LOW, so the stepping isn't the ). First I thought the spin was cut :?. But then I somehow figured it out that it wasn't cut either (but maybe I'm wrong at this point/it might be cut just a bit)! When you look on the slowmo, my legs are in the correct position, but my upper body is already twisted so I'm looking at my Clipper from "the other side". At my Clipper being in the  RIGHT position... This is where my question appears: do I cut spins when I turn my head, maybe arms too (for example left, while I'm going to set from right Clip and THEN turn left)? Hmm, no doubt it looks... HORRIBLE! :? However it's not a big problem for me to fix it. I just have to turn WHOLE my body at the same time, I know where the bag is/where I set it anyway. At Worlds I talked with Felix about Surgings and I showed him my Surgings (on Ducking too) and he told me they were good 8). I also learned, that Felix' Surgs aren't maybe super clean, but that's not because he can't . He showed me an undeniably clean Surging Ducking something. Yeah, that was amazing 8O, but it didn't looked good at all! :? And he explained that it's more imported for him to do something that looks good . And I guess he's right.

 By the way I hate all this "it was slurry", "theeeee", "no dexes there", "no dexes anywhere", "it could be deeper", "if you can't hit it clean first try, you're an addhunter" :P, "it's hard to do it clean... (too hard for YOU!)" or "was it clean, was it?". Of course it's all about to learn/execute everything in the most perfect way (especially when you hit something really big or you're going to beat some record... esp. world record :!:). I really think it's important and I focus on cleanness... but I feel like everybody (unfortunatelly including me ) focus on it TOO much. It really brings down  when you hit a trick you dreamed about for the first time and somebody says... it could be deeper (even if he's wrong or... joking?! great joke!). Or when I play in the circle (depends with who) and the'd some trick - I usually know about that (and usually smile then :D). But there's always a guy, who will say "it was the!". That guy is usually right, but fuck him! It's just fun... isn't it :?: It's not a crime what he did, everything would be OK, but it happens ALL the time... everywhere... anytime... It's borring. And sometimes offensive :?. I don't want to be understand incorrectly - all I'm saying that  Footbag is just a game, we play it for fun ( :?: ). There are some rules, I guess everyone knows them, everyone can download videos and see how different moves should look like. But there are people who can bitch up all the enjoyment of Footbag :x. They take everything too serious, and I've got on my mind ONLY those extreme cases, single people. I sometimes think I'm one of them. Yeees, it's a big problem of mine... I'm sometimes very ambitious. I'M TOO AMBITIOUS! :( It takes all the fun from Footbag sometimes, but at least I play with broad-minded people and the only thing that can worsen my mood sits in my head . It would kill me  if I played with people taking everything too serious (like me?). Thank God (weird... I don't believe :P) for Ners, Rozo and Wojtas! :D

I have to eat some breakfast now, then make a drawing (I like it but it takes fucking 3h! :x) and finally find some time for shred. I'll write later, maybe tomorrow morning if I hit something interesting.

I have to agree with Felix: do what looks and feels good. You'll be happier about it.

Time goes too fast . I don't have time for anything... before I finish one thing I have to start another :x. Yesterday I played, but not much, only 1 hour and 10-20 minutes. I didn't have more time. For writing a report yesterday either . But today I can stand it no more, I'm going to write it no matter what happens :P. So, yesterday I didn't play long but very intensive, practicing old stuff mostly. However some new stuff were hit too:

Inspinning Osis > Ripwalk (rpt.) - I didn't realise man can spin so fast and so easy 8O. I always had my mouth on the floor while watching Allan Haggett doing Spin OSis > Inspin Osis drill or Inspin Osis > Ripwalk drill

Tap > Atomsmasher (rpt.)
- finally. I always miss Toe delay, no matter how easy/hard the trick is...

That shred was really good, the best in a looong time. But I didn't know what's going to happen next day (I mean today 8O). My mood was unexpectedly good :D, I played with Pawel (Rozo) in South Park again (trying to use the opportunity, while it's so hot) at 16.30. This time we decided to look for some shade, and we found it on a sports field very close to the stage (where we usually play). Another very intensive shred, I played well (but Rozo had some problems with shin splints), my Blenders are getting better and better (all those Foods, Spenders + hit Food > Blurriest - BS, going to make a drill 8) ). And then... my Furious set started to work after a few months of hibernation. And it worked great 8O. How did it happen?

 When I start thinking about anything conected with Barragings, one story comes on my mind. In January I decided to learn flipside Barraging set (after half a year using only one side...). It's really weird, I leart Barraging from my flipside  and that's probably why it was easy for me to learn the other side, and it soon became strong. The problem is, that ANYTHING, NEVER was soooo easy - can you imagine that I hit flipside Nemesis after a WEEK (:!:) of learning this set?! :? It was sooo stupidly high... just perfect 8). After 1,5 week since I decided to learn flip Barraging I went to play on gym and warmed up. Suddenly I thought  'how many Janiwalkers can I hit in 10 tries?'. And I just started to do them, beginning from strong... one (handcatched), two (handcatched), three... 10 strong Janis (all controlled, right to my hand) :). But then I started the same thing with my flipside... :? and did just the same thing I did with strong side (all controlled, right to my hand) :o. I was so shocked, I started to laught when the next idea came. Janiwalker B2B . I've never tried it before, but I hit it second attempt. :P Remember that 1,5 week ealier I couldn't hit ONE SINGLE JANIWALKER! But it was in January. And we've got 26th of August. I don't know how but my Furious set totally broke down , as quickly as it appeared, and that made me pissed off SOOOOOO many times!

Video with David hitting 14 consicutive Janiwalkers was something that helped me to believe that it's possible . I started to believe that I can do those Janiwalkers, why shouldn't I? :P I could do them so easly half a year ago so why couldn't I do them right now?! :? After 2 hours Pawel was too tired to play so he just watched me. I was tired too, but when I thought about Barragings... I HAD to try them :!: . First thing I did was Janiwalker B2B (I've never hit more than 2 before) but I knew something was a bit diferent . I tried it again and hit...

5 consecutive Janiwalkers :D

...which is the new Polish record 8), and just 1 less than an old Vaseks record (till David did his 14, the record on Lon's list was 6). But it wasn't everything. I repeated that record few times (had really good attempts on 6th, but... well, next time). Then tried Sunilwalker > Janiwalker drill, but got only...

Sunilwalker > Janiwalker > Sunilwalker > Barraging Drop - did it oooover 20 times... :? fucking Janiwalker...

But I was quite tired then, I hope on some next session my Barragings will be so good  and I'll complete it. However that's not everything! :P At the end of the session I hit my third 8-adder I think...

Furious Blender :D :D :D :D :D

...from the other Furious than Clown Face 8). I've got a few more 8-adders to do in the nearest future so I hope this time my Furious won't leave me :P. Tomorrow we're going to play in the same Park again, Budzik and Szczeniu are gonna visit us but I'm not sure I'll play... :( I'm absolutely exhausted now, I'm going to sleep right after I send this post. Everything aches me, my back, legs... Ners will probably bring my camera - that's why I'd like to play though :?. I'll see.

And that's how my Furious came back to me . I think it's all because David Clavens. Without him I wouldn't know I can do all of this and I wouldn't be so happy now. Thanks David! :D

One more thing - I was chosen to desing a logo of Zocha Jam. :D

Feel free to comment!

I knew it will be a hard year, but I didn't expect so much work! Preparing for my final exams (especially maths), writing essays :x, drawing a looooooot, SOMETIMES Footbaging . Don't even have time to write this post 8O, so I'll just try to do it possibly as quick as possible.

Since school started I play alone :( in my room (not maybe very big but for one player enough). I have to get used to shredding in it 'cause I probably will for the whole next year . I played on Tuesday and Wednesday and from new things I can remember now

Surging Pdx Whirl > Food Processor > Spinning Pdx Blender - new beast, I really like it but... why I didn't use any Torque in it? I should! :)
Alpine Food Processor - BS - I think I know why Honza is hitting them all the time
Mobius > Pdx Blender (rpt.)
Pdx Drifter > Pdx Torque (rpt.)
Blender > Pdx Blender (rpt.)

...and some other stuff I can't remember :P. I have no idea WHY I didn't hit them before?! :?

Gotta go now. I'm pretty sure I forgot something :P

I should learn math instead of this...

Alpine Bigwalk > Blurry Torque > Food Processor - on Saturday I suddenly thought Alpine Bigwalk > Blurry Torque is a cool link so I tried it. It went easy first try, but while performing a Torque I got another idea - I'll add Foodprocessor! And I almost caught it. So I picked up the bag and tried again and... did it third try. I also hit it today and the beginning of the session.
Ripped Warrior > Spin Duck Butterfly (rpt.)
Pdx Torque > Motion (rpt.)
Blur > Atomsmasher > Tripwalk (rpt.) + Stepping Far Legover > Tripwalk (rpt.)
Blurry Torque > Blurry Torque
Mobius x4 - going for some record, I hope still this year
Torque x 17, but it's not all I can :P
Spin Clipper > Gyro Clipper (over 40 contacts)
Alpine Marius + Gauntlet + footed Alpine Food - can do Alpine Marius almost any time I want , same with Stepping Ducking. Also my Barraging set is finally solid. And I decided to add some Whirls like Blurry Whirl to my game... Don't even ask me why I've never used them before, but believe me it's a cool felling when you hit Blurry Whirl B2B for the first time between some other 5's, on impulse  . Next time I'll maybe find some more time to describe what still brings me down  .

we have a new gym (Sunday 10-13), it's much :) closer than Morskie Oko. Today I played with Ners, Radek (haven't seen him since Swiat Zoski... early April?! :? Anyway, he's improving), Budzik and Piechu (5 of us! 8O), but there were some people breakdancing too. And this time we had music  ! Yesterday was a demo there. I lost my Footfighter  so I made a new facil Olavbag in the night  (it took me 3 hours with everything, I'm wondering is it much?).

won 4square :!: (with Ners - European Champion :P, Antek and Pawel) for the first and the last time. I ended my 4square career

made few new facil Olavbags :D (during school... I shouldn't but I had to! ), will upload some photos soon (I hope...)

Zocha Jam, Wroclaw 25-26 November 2006 :!: Vasek is comming, Andy Ronald too. Gonna be great 8). I don't have even time to make any routine. At least maybe shred 30? :-(

Hi, modified.

Oct 17/Oct 19 (dunno exactly)
Blurry Whirl > Spin Pdx Whirl (rpt.) - after 1,5 week since I decided to learn Blurry Whirls ('cause I hadn't used them)*
Barfly > Whirling Swirl (rpt.)

Oct 22, (shredownicy 2 - http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/10274)
Your Mum - many times (I know it isn't clean on the vid)
Blurry Torque B2B - not for the first time
Ripwalk Swirl B2B :D
Clipper > Gauntlet > Handcatch > repeat :P
Alpine Marius > Osis > Butterfly > Ripwalk > Butterfly > Blurry Torque > Butterfly > Marius > Butterfly > ...
Inspinning Osis > Ripwalk > Inspinning Osis > Ripwalk > ...
Vortex > Big Apple > Rev Walkover > Butterfly Swirl
Alpine Bigwalk > Blurry Torque > Food Processor

Today
Sunilwalker > Janiwalker (rpt.) - FINALLY :!:
Sonic Clipper > Gyro Clipper (rpt.) - 2/2 :o
MOBIUS x5 (first try today 8) )
32x Ducking Butterfly
5x Barfly > DDD > 14x Barfly! - WTF?! 8O Wasn't it a nightmare?!
run with Big Apple, Superfly > Spin Butterfly (rpt.)
PS Whirl - BS, Whirligyg - BS (flipside 1st try in my life!), Whirlwind - BS, Montage (twice) - I can't explain that. Blurry Whirls are easy. But PS Whirls? Believe or not, but I couldn't do one on strong side yesterday. I didn't use them at all! Today I decided to try it and... could hit moooore than 50% on each side, Whirligygs were quite easy, Montage twice in a row...* that was ridiculous! :? Looks like I'm gonna add them to my trick list.
Superdeeduperfly

That's all I remember right now.

Oh, I'm working on my 8th facil Olavbag 8). They're brilliant :P (IMO)!

* - No, I don't understand it. :? But you can help me figure it out...

Shred hard,

got a new training plan. working very well, but I dunno how long I'll obey it... :?

Spin Pdx Blender > Food Processor > Spin Pdx Blender > Food Processor

8O

Surreal > Big Apple > Food Processor - good way to end a session (2nd try)

7 > 7 - I won't tell anything more YET . There's still sth I'm gonna add...

Food Processor > Ripstein > Spin Pdx Blender - shit, what a feeling! 8)

Moirius (Spyro Symp Torquescrew)

9th Olavbag. Best so far (I'll upload a pic... one day :P)!

Enjoy your life.
