double atw is hard, you've gotta try and dex as slow as possible which is a real mind fuck.

omg lol yesterday (wednesday) was a reallly funny day at work

my friend (andrew)'s first day as a lifeguard... so i decided to come a get paid as well...even though i wasn't scheduled.. and kinda skipped my tutor... doh!... so we were hacking and shreding like i'd normally do when no one's in the pool. and so i do a pendulum fine... then to show him cuz he's like wow! and i'm like ya, so i do it agian for him and it falls over the edge into a giant bush... about a 20 foot drop from the docks down next to the water... imagine this: there's a pool, one side is next to the parkinng lot, the other side has "fencing" protecting you from this 20 foot drop... but in that drop and up tot he top of the fence has grown this huge ginormous bush... so my handmade stitched footbag that I MADE! falls into the abyss. ... no one's in the pool or at the pool for that matter, so wego try to find it. we walk around trying to poke it out of the giant bush w/ the skimmers and poles... but to no avail... so i stick the pole straight down into the bush were i saw the bag fall in. andrew takes my towel.. goes around to the bottom of the bush... then comes back halfway and sees where the bush meets the decking for the pool. there's a crawl space! zomg! so he's crawling through, fending himself off from the rabid mice, rats, and sharp appendages of the bush. he comes to a mouse trap (not snapped yet) and knudges it aside... snaps in on the bush (that bastard bush had it coming...)... he finally keeps crawling and sees the pole... and the bag a foot from it closer to him... but the crawl space had a catch... it was like 2 feet of jetting platform then another 10 foot drop... so he had to stay on the platform the whole time... by the time he saw the footbag the platform was narrowing in on the wall to the decking and basically had nothing to crawl on... he stretched his arm all the way out, grabbed the bag and started retreating back out. HE GOT THE BAG! GOD BLESS HIM!... had he knudged the bag just a bit... it'd have fallen 10 feet to teh bottom of the bush. and we'd never see it agian... god bless that boy; andrew's got a heart of gold but doesn't hack... too bad, after that i'd say he was destined to play footbag... ah well..

crazy story eh?

highlights of the day:

3 illusions (strong)
2 mirages (strong)
2 pendulums)
lots of clippers :D
toe transfers :)

WOOT!

got my 6 free swatches from ultrasuede.com today!... cool colors: idk the real names.. so i'll describe them: tan, black, dark green, lighter green, red, and light blue

no shred today: it rained and we kicked evry1 out of pool !@!!! woot

while on duty, mainly i just pulled the stickers off of the fabric so that i can maximize productivity... i marked the patches and cut them out of the light green one. yay!

stitching later this week, this weekend trip to buffalo university, geneseo, and rochester to check out colleges.

You will have to check all your stitching stuff unfortunately.

It's a pain that you can't kill time stitching. You are not allowed basically anything you need to stitch, needles, thread, scissors, lighter etc.

oh wow.... just wow!

trip to buffalo wuz a blast!

friday: did nothing all day till noon, dad got home, we left for JFK int'l airport, flight at 3:05 to Rochester, NY. flight by JET BLUE, rocked, tv blah blah blah... not bad at all... we rented a chrystler convertible, a little red convertible car. THAT'S THE WAY TO RIDE BABY! drove through rochester campus... had i known that i'd be going through rochester, i'd've tried to meet matt cross... but i didn't know. w/e. then we drove back to the hotel (mariott) nice place... worked on my stitching, half way done. btw, rochester is a sukky city.

saturday: got up at 8, shower.. blah d blah stuff, drove to GENESEO, took the 11-1pm tour. i was impressed, it looks cozy and small, just the way i like it. after the tour we had a bunch of time to kill so we grabbed some lunch and hit the road again! drove to BUFFALO. we checked into the hotel which was literally 1 block from UB, dropped off our bags and decided to go check out NIAGARA FALLS! woot taht was fun. it was about 30 min drive from UB. we looked at it (duh) and took the "Maid of the Mists" boat ride underneath both falls, (american Niagara falls, and canadian Canada falls). we got DRENCHED! but thankfully they gave each of us ponchos so. we didn't get too wet, maybe just knees down, and chin to nipples, not bad.. further analysis of the poncho revealed it to be a MODIFIED SEE THROUGH BLUE GARBAGE BAG WITH SOME LETTERS ON IT! and they told us to keep it for souvenir purposes... noobs...
we drove back to the motel... i finished stitching except for the last pent, i'm gonna go buy some shots tomorrow to fill it... the bag... i'm afraid to say is huge!... like the size of 1.5 golf balls... i can stick my entire abshire inside it... i screwed up badly!... .8/.9/33 is not the way to go. :(
went to sleep

sunday: woke up at 10, morning stuff... blah, met my 2nd cousin (who goes to UB) and the 4 of us: me, my dad, my cousin, and her boyfriend; went to UB, for a little tour they'd give us. its pretty simple actually even though the campus is huge and there's about 20k people there... the dorms encompass the outside of campus, and the inside of campus are all the buildings attached in one way or another.. ther's a ton of stuff to do there, basically it's a great school if u can get used to the huge size.
we went out for brunch together, departed ways, dad and i drove to buffalo airport, caught an earlier flight thank god! by like 2 hours... took it home, got in our car and drove back.

final analysis of schools visited:
ROCHESTER: one of our friends goes there, i'll inquire him about the school later
GENESEO: great school, small, friendly, but i'm concerned about the club programs they have there... i doubt they have footbag clubs
University at BUFFALO: great school, lots of clubs, a bit big, i'm sure they have footbag club or something...

no shred this weekend. it was nasty and rained.. plus i was focused on stitching

in the kitchen earlier was just hitting some clippers --- i noticed i don't land clippers on the inside of my foot but rather farther back near the ankle/heal area...idk y... it just sticks there and'll roll off everywhere else.

but its working so far...

still here... being me...

writing my college essay about footbag and me... cuz i'm so obsessed... that's not so good is it?

atm, i have 4 patches left to fill in for my spikey 32 panel, 3 pents, 1 hex, 2 spikes... i decided to make this bag after my last one that i made turned out like crap... this one looks REALLY NICE! i mean like really nice, i might even go scan it and show everyone i'm so psyched...

also dunno how i'm gonna get to kickass 2... kinda concerned cuz i wanna go but i can't find a carpool... are there any trains that go? maybe a plane?...eh

OMG ITS FINISHED AND IT PWNS!!!

now i just gotta go buy filler

Props on legover. I remember being equally PUMPED when I hit that move for the first time too, it was my first 2-add after ATW. For me, mirage took FOREVER. That's cool that you are already hitting illusions, they should be harder than legovers really.

Anyways I am just commenting in a lot of peoples blogs today I guess.

Now that you can hit mirage, illusion and legover, try hitting all of them from clipper set! That will open up your game a lot and allow you to do much cooler tiltless strings.
