I've been told to not play footbag for a week or until my foot stops hurting. I've also been banned from flip flops and shoes with poor support. How am I supposed to be getting better when I can't play? It hurts to walk and I'm frustrated with my body.

However Tom's been really sweet to me in my frustrations and we've only blown up at each other once or twice. Mostly because of my stubborness. It's hard living together, but the benefits outweigh the bad in this situation. I moved in at the start of May and we've been through some tumultuous rough spots, but things have been much better lately. I love Tom very much. I'm getting more and more used to this living together thing. I feel very fortunate to have a boyfriend like Tom.

Since I can't play footbag, I've stitched a lot and made a lot of sick bags. I've averaged about one a day. They look great, play great, and break in within a week. They also feel just the way I always dreamed my bags would feel like ever since I first touched the Lonns Tom has.

I've also received a few bags from people lately. I'm really impressed by Waylon's bags. They've come a long way from the first one I received. I can't wait to break in my new one when I can get back to playing again. My new Marco bag is strangely stitched from the looks of it. It's very atypical and I can't wait to see what it breaks in like as well.

I also can't wait to receive all the magic cards I traded bags for. I'm definitely going to do that again sometime.

That's all for now. ~Toodles! See you all at Kickass!

climas have great support! also you can buy special arch support insoles (not the kind in walmart... youd want to get them from a foot doctor so then they can make a mold of your foot). i used to have problems with my back (still do) and when i had smaller feet i got the special insoles. my back was better within 2 days(even without pain relievers)! but staying off it for a while is probably a great idea.

living with boyfriends/girlfriends can always get frustrating at times. brian has lived with me for the past month and weve only had one little fight. ive found that the best thing for me is to keep your distances when youre pissed. thats an obvious solution but when im in the heat of things my instinct is to make sure that i get the last word. or sometimes i just do the silent treatment thing. both always end with me appologising. ive learned to avoid things ill have to appologise for.

also, dont let little things build up. when something bothers you try to bring it up in a "non-confrontational" way right then and there. rather than let it settle, then a week later when you get pissed off you lay out a string of things that have made you frustrated in the last week.

im not trying to sound like i know a lot about this... its just ive had the same thing over the last month and its kinda weird that youre going through the same stuff i am. i literally had a "shitty" day at work. i clean bathrooms at my college and some kid smeared poop all over the inside of a stall in the mens room. needless to say it was disgusting and it ruined my day. but brian bought me flowers and made everything better (and smelling good).

youll really like the magic cards he sent you. at least you can play magic with hurt feet!!! and youll have new badass cards to try out!

Thanks for the compliments on my bag, Peng. I expect to shred with it when I get to Kickass, with you, Tom, and some other Canadian to play with a Yankee like me. :)

I've had a lot of bad luck with relationships, and I definitely blame myself for being too stubborn sometimes. But I know Tom is one of the most reasonable and literal guys on the face of the planet, and if he can't treat you right I don't know who. :P Much luck and good fortune for you two again - you guys deserve it.

I'm definitely going to pursue and improve on my stitching much, much more for you and Tom! See you guys a month later!

I was pissy so I ended up buying a new pair of shoes. Rick the foot doctor is going to disapprove although they aren't flip flops.

That fortune cookie is pretty whack Holly. "tomo" in Japanese represents friend and when you pronounce "tomo" in Chinese, it's "peng". The "Peng" in my name is a different character though. I'm not sure where "du" comes into play for friend though. Thanks for thinking of me nonetheless. :)

I spent the first 5 years of my life in Japan, but I don't remember much and I'm Chinese. I understand more Japanese than I can speak.

Yeah... buying shoes makes anyone feel better. If the shoe fits, buy it in every colour. I bought a pair of 4" pink patent leather babydoll pumps yesterday with rhinestones. Pink and shiney, why wouldn't that make a girl feel better?

Waylon, I totally know where you're coming from, although I have enough footbag shoes for now. 5 pairs is enough.

Fortune cookies are Chinese, not Japanese. The words on your fortune cookie are Chinese, not Japanese. Hence my comment.

thats not the point. when i find that paper message ill scan it and show you. i dont know if youve noticed or not but a lot of fortune cookies can be wrong... for the fact that people like me dont care what the difference is... i was just thinking it was funny. its not about whether i was right or wrong about one word... i just thought it was cool that it said pengdu...

and those are some serious sounding shoes, peng. you should post them in the "post your shoes" forum. they sound uber awesome. what would you wear pink rinestone pumps with?
