so much has gone on scince i last posted here!

well school is over so no more homework or whatever its so great! and for all of you who dont know, im a really good drummer, and i played with my band and everyone thought we were amazing!, on stage it was just so great, we were so much better than the other band :D it was just a fantastic time. well after that i took a break from footbagand i had injured myself and stuff so i couldnt really footbag at all so it was fine. after about a week and a half im footbagging! i didnt seem to rusty either, i never even knew this but im tiltless haha i feel so stupid for not knowing that but 2 adds is tiltless cool stuff, i hit dimwalk again too :) (four adds rock!) i was hittting my usual runs like mirage>butterfly>pickup or mirage>legover>mirage >butterfly just stuff like that

i also told peng about the problems with my peng bag and she said for sixteen dollars, if i sent the bag back, she'll send me a new niice bag and stickers :) and oddly enough, those first hanias i ordered, that never came, actually came! i felt really guilty and asked hania if i should send them back or give her money, but she said i could keep them! :) one is blue yellow orange but not typical tricolor pattern and the other is purple red, dark red they look sooo cool, and one of the bags is her older type of bag with the hexes basically triangles, which i really liked! maybe i'll post pics tonight.

alllso the world cup is rolling along and we got a new reeeaally nice soccer ball and kicked it around (yes i do play some soccer too lol) im nervous for england and stuff though :? like evryone else haha

well everything just seems to be..cool everything is just flowing along nicely  also im going to europe on the 6th coming back the 31st, cruely we're not going to worlds  it wasnt on the schedule so what can you do? oh well, everything in the footbag world is going veery well!

Well,Well, Well guess whos back from europe, with an ear infection, and hasnt shredded for a month yeah it sucks but my trip was just fantasticfirst off we saw italy, and florence was fantastic, beautiful architectureand i saw the world cup in the square there..you can imagine! after that we drove to tuscany which was soo beautiful there were some mountains and the countryside just swept before you and we swam in the Tyrrhenian sea (look it up!)then we had to leave for a place called san gimignano wich was beautiful but we couldnt stay there, the veiw was fantastic up in a tower we climbed. then we drove to pisa and saw the tower, but no-one talks about the beauty of the towers next to them, and they are really fantastic but they dont lean wtf!? then we drove (after eating unbleiveable fantastic gelato!) to suisse which we saw the alps, i cant describe the coolness of it!(or maybe im just lazy....). then we drove back to Turin and flew to england. In england we went to my aunts and saw alot of our friends so theres no real point of going into detail here, except we had some great food saw oxford my grandmas house and so on (shes dead btw) and we saw her friends, it was cool to catch up with her. but eventually we went to the loire valley in france and that was really really really nice, we went there with all of my relatives and we swam in the pool (which gave me an ear infection..) and played games and chilled, but eventually it had to stop, and we all had to leave  that was our trip though and it was great, i cant shred cuz it hurts my ears too much and england beat pakistan in three days by an innings and 120 runs! (thats cricket haha) also i got a new peng bag that came two weeks earlier, but its 47g and about 4 cm its sweet. but right now im modifying bigger shoes cuz the ones i got are too small for me now

Anyway, im looking into purchasing an ilja bag which i think would be a wise investment!

ughhh i tried to kick a bag around, i couldnt hit a legover or pickup, i could still hit esy mirages both sides, but idk if it will be a few days or weeks or whatever but i hope i'll be ok :)

Peng bag=awesome, idk if itsbetter than my hania, but i luurve them both my peng is really soft 4cm, now its breaking in a bitand i love setting it, both bags are different yes, but i like them both differently

well thats all in my life!

you dont really have to be consistant for the sick 1 or 3 or anything like that because as long as we get it on tape once, then all the drops dont matter.

well yesterday i shredded with ben and his girlfriend. I was able to see some of my moves on camera and thought my butterfly looked weird so im kinda workin on that, also when i do drifter, it also looks odd, but i definitely am doing drifter so im workin on that i got my sick one down quickly (pdx difter) but i might re video tape it. i wasnt able to hit my sick three, after about thirty minutes, which peeved me a bit cause its probably a little above my level, but i've hit it before so w/e, then i found out i could borrow his camera, so i just stopped so we could play three square which was kinda like two square, cuz bens g/f cant really play that well lol, but i was beating ben cause i figured out how to do spikes, and i have no idea if its leagal or not, we just kinda fooled around. then after that we shredded a bit, i was upset with ben cause he cant do flipside butterfly, although his regular clipper was actually consistent and he was more consistent with it than i was, but he cant do mirage and should work on his tricks from like a toe set, also he was hitting guay which is really cool, and i hit it a couple of times, but he couldnt do it it flipside from what i could tell and he also couldnt pixie. still though his runs where longer than mine, although they were pretty repetetive, but still with the osises and clippers i thought they looked cool. (props on the refraction consitency wish i could do that!)

also he gave me one of his kuddlebags which i think are really awesome and i like it way more than my sand bag, and it still smells nice  his bags were ok. he had alot of bags from new stitchers so the stitching was fine but the filler wasnt that great. but his vettehunter was nice (if biggish) and his brinard was too. All in all it was a really fun day and i would definitely like to start shredding with him regualrly cause we both learn

aaannnd also, heres what i thought of ben's shoes.
The toe was ok, they were girppiy surfaced, and because he had toe walls up it was a pretty big size. the inside and outside stall area were actually ok, grippy surfaced but ben might want to try a brocka cause his clippers werent bending enough but i didnt really notice. The shoes were bulky, the toungue was thick as was the sole. also on the top surrounding the foot it was thickish, but not crazily thick. shredable shoes? definitely. better than Lavers (which are a fad. jk ben)? yes. if ben wants to keep them then he'll be able to shred, but he should get quanums or lavers (IMO) and thats that

Edit: i am not a shoe afficionado and have only tried lavers, so dont take me too seriously

haha, thanks for the tips and stuff dude, im workin on flipside, i can do a few flipside toe moves but other than that its basically crap. im also going out to practice pixies because right after you and morgan left i started to try them, haha. seems like fun. and about the long runs...im not sure whats better, better tricks but shorter run or a longer run with easier tricks...hmmm, i enjoy being repetative thogh, it gives me time to think about my next big trick the im gunna put on the string. thanks for the props. I think we will indeed be able to shred regularly because your going into 9th correct? then we can just shred after school somedays, that would be fun...i smell a footbag club coming on. :D

Thanks for the shoe review, i hope more people read that. maybe i will ask morgan for quantums for christmas, hehe. seing as she spends 110 bucks easily on shoes, haha. that would be sick.

cant wait till tuesday, see ya dude.

im pissed, i cant link tricks together and ive given up on sick three i know im not bad but i should be better, im pissed i am still working on fucking legover scince fucking april and all the other tricks. nothing is 100% consitent i could hit drifter refraction pdx mirage. i suck at runs, im only gonna do sick one and even that drifter is fucked. Ben is better than me at like consistency and runs, i hate it, not becasue hes better than me, but that i should be bette, i dont know what the hell is wrong with me, but i wish i could have shred in rochester, maybe ic an go to kickass, idc i'll suck there too. i know this is a terrible attitude but what the fuck. im just pissed, no-one besides ben even reads this so why do i even post in it hah. idk what i should do, work on tricks? i dont knowi nkow i shouldnt but im always measuring myself to bne, he already hit reverse whirl! (mad props man!) why cant i do that?? and he can atomic. idk im just really fucking bummed and in a terrible mood after a regular shit shred.

AAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!

There are 614 views for 71 posts as I type this. People read it, they just don't always post. Also, footblogs are generally for yourself, to help record stuff and see how you've progressed over the months.

For you consistancy problem. I suggest you stop working on harder stuff like pdx. mirage, drifter,, pdx drifter, etc. and start schooling your tiltless some more. Or if you tiltless is solid, put more 2-add stuff into your runs.

For a while, I was subconsciencely trying to go guiltless and my strings were only 4-5 contacts at best. I was angry for a while, and then realized I was trying to play above my ability. I then started putting more tilt stuff into my runs, and now my runs are much longer, much more varied, much more fun, and I think a lot more interesting.

thats what i said to my self just a few days ago...

"Ben, god damnit, your not that great, just face it, you cant do those big ass tricks yet, so too bad. work on longer runs and just keep going, even if you have to repeat a move 5 times before you put a different one in there."

thats what i told myself.

wow yesterday..preety much pwned. i did some shit earlier in the day , but then i went over to bens to get this video stuff sorted out. I wasnt actually hitting drifter but toe dadacurve which i didnt really mind about at all, i'll just work on drifter! (duh). so my sick 1 was toe dadacurve and my sick three was mirage>butterfly>refraction, wich i think looked fine. then we played some four square, which is the best game ever and a game like horse, i would hit a trick, then ben would have to then i would hit trick1>trick2 and if ben didnt hit that he would geta an "h" then an "o" then a "rse"lol i think i won ho to horse but it was great, and we tried to hit some double legovers and suutff and i like all the tricks bens using like guay, thats such a sweet trick adn we just had an aweesome shred then we went and saw little miss sunshine wich was absolutely fantastic! and it was just an awesome day. and now, my video!

Hey rob, nice moves! Try to make the dexes bigger on your dada curve and not catch until your foot and the bag are in a very clean clipper position. It's very close to where it's gotta be, keep it up!
