I think it's from clippers..thats when it hurts.

But it might be from exploding off of my left leg to dex (atomics)

I need tips on DLO and Eggbeater...god I hate these tricks. Double dex tricks are fine, as long as one is uptime and one is downtime, haha.

First session where I got to take my shirt off and get some sun.

Today felt very smooth, pixies were flying a lot easier, but my atomics were way off. I doubt I hit one in a string =/. Didn't do any stepping or fairies.

I was looking at the trick tips section, and under flail, saw Mirken say how important it was go in into it believing that you can hit it. I know that sounds real gaybag, but surely enough, I, for the first time, got the dex clean on what I thought would be my flipside. I really think that I'll be able to hit it tomorrow or this weekend, now that i got some muscle memory down.

We'll see.

Till tomorrow?

Ugh, weekend with lots of cigs and wine in portland.

Played yesterday, taught a new-comer the basics of toe-to-toe. I hope he sticks with it.

I didn't really have a session, I just basically threw up stuff to get him amped about the sport.

I need to play tomorrow, it's too late tonight.

Sanne and company are visiting this weekend, so i can't go to seattle, again

(bummed, but stoked)

Few sessions the last few days.

Nothing noteable, working on whirls and drifters, not getting too far.

It's been balls long since i've last updated.

Have been having sessions 4 times a week. I have noticed that I play a lot more efficiently when I take a days break or so.

Nothing really crazy to note - I've been having good runs here and there, mostly 20-30 with tiltless/bop/random 4s. I try to do as many clippers as I can at the end of my session, right now it's 25 on my left, 22 on my right. And, ya know, they are all solid clippers, but i just will straight miss the bag when I get so tired - haha.

Some shit has been going down in terms of..I dont know, my wellness. I enjoy my small school up here in Tacoma, but I really feel trapped in walls of the school. Tacoma just doesn't have anything going on. So I spend most of my weekends in Portland, visiting my girlfriend. That city is fucking amazing, I really love it.

As for Seattle, I have a blast everytime I go up there. It's very similar to portland in the sense that there's always something going on, and I love that. But in terms of switching schools, I really need a support group of friends that i've known before I started school, which would consist of, of course my girlfriend, a friend larry, and another friend josh. Maybe even Sam M =p.

I'll probably fuck something up, but I've got time to make mistakes I guess.

RCS - I am sorry that I can't always be there to shred, I wish so much that I had a car and more time. You guys are so amazing, major props to you Sam, Justin, and Scott. I hope to make it up there a few more times.

Whatever happens, I'll continue playing footbag. It really keeps me sane and focused, even though I suck balls hard some sessions. We all have our days. Anywho, I am about to go play.

PS. Last night before my radio show, I spent a good hour going through Jorden's videos. He is ridiculous, and I love him. I seriously could watch his videos all day long with a carton of goldfish. I wish someday that my game will be as sound as his.

Thanks for reading, if you do.

Not too late to transfer somewhere else next year.. if you're not happy then get the hell out of there. Good to hear you're playing so much.

You should have asked us about Tacoma before you went there! We could have told you as much!

No worries, anyway. It's for the best that you're getting out of that shit hole. Hopefully we'll cross paths again before too long. Are you still coming to SJFF/want crash space at my place?

hahahahaha Nice avatar. <3 perry bible fellowship. For flail, try doing the motion a bunch without the bag, getting high and landing soft as possible.
