Another shoe post (NB 970)

Does anyone know about these shoes (New Balance 970 running shoes)?
They look like they could have a nice toe (if you removed that little bit of leather that's in the way) but I don't know about the the inside surfaces.

Looks like a net shoe.

=

heavy sole and thick construction. I've never seen these before, but that's just what I'm guessing.

EDIT: looking at the multi-view, it looks like there's basically no clipper spot. I admit they don't look completely terrible, but I really do think they'd be better for net.

New Balance has another shoe that would be great for freestyle. The Zip crosstrainer. It runs about 85.00 and has a toe area and a nice clipper zone. Hope this helps, Richard Abshire

I've seen a lot better & I've seen a lot worse. Nothing about that shoe screams to me , potential footbag shoe. Convex toe surface for rolloff. Inside surface that has multiple materials. The only way is if you redid the whole shoe with lots of material removal and possible replacement. Other than that, keep looking.
