Actually if you would see Richard Abshires collection you would shit your pants. In his collection he owns the only 32 (to my knowledge) that Ryan Malrony ever made.

i opened your first pic and was like "WHAAAA those are all abshire bags!!! who IS this guy" and read on...

again, awesome collection- it definately rivals richie's

on that note, richards collection is indeed a museum of footbag, much like mikes! from the beginning to present- these gentlemen have it ALL. ill never forget when i asked to see riches collection and he showed me the boxes of all the bags he has... he can name every one, who made it, when he got it, when it was made, what was being hit at that point in time- im sure mike, that you're no different!! love of the sport i tell ya! its great. on top of that, the diagrams of ideas of tatoos to conceptual ideas on how to make a bag with XXXX number of panels that are just... insane i tell u, absolutely works of SUCH patience. (I believe those two that mike has with the multi-panels are two of such bags, though i could be wrong)

ill also never forget that my 7th bag ever earned a place (however temporary, ill never know) up on his little special wall rack for bags of memory

that was my first trade ever... ohhhhhhhhh those were the daysss. SAN DIEGO ILL BE BACK!

300 isnt excessive at all

personnaly, i want as many bag as possible .. thats the main reason i started stitching .. (trades)

i might have about 30 bags rt now, its not enough

and im proud to have a vintage one with "AKI" on it. 2 leather panels, white and brown

my hottest is a bag made by Stephane Commeau (main net player in Quebec city) green suede pent with white leather pents BUT the hottest thing is ALL hexes are circled by a red leather. ill try to have a pic soon

I don't have as many bags as Richie does, but I do have some heavy hitters....and yes, many of Richie's and mine are museum quality...that is for sure.
This is a 182 panel Footbag made by Allan Peterson...his 6th with that many panels in 1992, and the only one of this color pattern. I paid $100 for it back in the day....

Here is the 182 with a 92 on top, and two 32 panel Footbags....all were made by Allan Peterson...considered to be the finest stitcher in the world....for asthetically pleasing bags anyway. The little blue car is one a 20 panel yellow and blue Footbag that I made back in 1993....it is very large, but it was one of the best I ever made.....and since it takes me so long to do it....and I have Richie so close....he makes all of my Footbags for me now...and I love picking out color combos....infinite combos...lol....

Here is the first Hacky Sack...the Haitian bag...and a lopsided Hacky Sack that I asked John Stallberger to sign in 1992.

I am a collector, and I think 300 Footbags is not enough as well. My starting line up consists of 7 Richie Abshire Footbags....and frankly, I only use Richie bags, for they are the best of the best IMHO.

I have know Richie since 1992, and we met at a Hacky Sacky Frisbee fest down in Mission Beach, CA. I know I own more of his bags than anyone else...that is for sure. I also have 3 of his first run bags, and they are still sweet as can be...but I would not shred with them....a little dated IMO.

The sadest day Footbag wise for me was one Summer...I had all over 20 Footbags stolen while we were playing Footbag Net down in Mission Beach. I still can't believe none of use saw them take my bags, and they were right by the net, off to the side....thus have you ever seen a grown man cry???

LOL...I have 7 bags in my starting line up...and all are Richie bags. Once you start...you can't stop...it is addicting. Plus I have been playing and collecting for over 25 years now, and the same goes for Richie....we are Warriors of the Footbag World....lol... Ciao, Michael

there NOTHING excessive about that wonderful collection. ive only got two abshires, one of which was my first 32 panel ever-

this is it next to my first stitched footbag ever (lol) and a mr.:

this is my newer richie, one of the t50 line of his that im not sure if he ever sold publically- (but i know mikes got one or more!!!) tight stitching, thick colors, small with tungsten fill. and the first trade i ever made

i traded my 7th 32 ever for this fuckin BEAUT and best bag ive ever owned:

it was also the first bag id ever seen of his that had his stamp on it

from that day, all my trades have been ONLY for radiation gobstopper pattern bags like this one! i love em- someday ill have a collection of the most radiation gobstopper bags in the wooorrrlDDD!! BWAHAHAA alright maybe not but who knows

other than that, ive played with countless abshires, from test bags to conceptual prototypes to standard richies. hes always got 5 or 6 in diff. stages of breakin- but man, theres NO SUCH THING as a better bag to shred than an abshire. i think i need another one soon as id rather not shred mine into the ground

Sweet...I love all of my T50s. I have around a dozen or so right now, and they are by far the best Footbags ever made IMHO. I will post pics of my starting line up later today....you will love em. These things are like Pringles...once you start...you can't stop...lol. Ciao, Michael
