World's Best Toe-to-Toe player

Post by Iron Clad Ben »

Let's face it guys. Clippers are lame. Osis is posing in its truest form. The xbd add is passé and some would argue just straight up add-hunting (except for Zipwalk, because that trick is the shiz).

So, who is the BEST toe-to-toe freestyler? Cuz that's all that really matters. So what if Vasek has hit gyro alpine food processor? Some kid from Poland hit a toe-to-toe 8-add. Best Freestyler in the world boils down who is the best toe-to-toe player. Wouldn't you agree?

OH BTW I'm open to suggestions, the ones in the poll were just the ones I could think of, I can go back and edit. Go ahead and debate...

let the flames begin...

EDIT: Crap. I guess you can't add new poll choices after someone has replied. Other players proposed:

 Vasek Klouda
 Sunil Jani
 Yves Kreil

Althought his game is heavy into clippers if he choose to use only his toes Vasek would be the worlds best toe-toe player. I assume he can hit almost all the toe moves others have hit with a few exceptions.

can you say sailing same side flurry?

The first five dex move, and it's toe-to-toe... my vote is that vasek is the best when he wants to be, and that the other players up there are all super sick.

Has Vasek really hit cheese processor? That'd make him the 3rd guy to do it... pretty impressive.

As for toe to toe game, I haven't seen enough of Cod or Windsen to make a fair assessment. Pinkus has likely hit more hard T2T tricks than anybody, but he's pretty one-sided with his standard toe tricks. The best I've seen in person was Kevin Regamey, who was real flipsided, clean, and consistent with his toes.

Oh, and 6 years ago this poll wouldn't have been open; Sunil would have taken it hands down.

Of the players I know well, the answer is Kevin Regamey. Now, Ive shredded with Chris Pinkus about 20 times or more, and I know that he can hit some hard tricks, but it is true that he is too one sides with much of his toe game. he's just so fast that you can't even tell :)

Kevin Regamey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My name: Jeremy Mirken, AKA Chocolatey Shatner, AKA jerk enemy rim.

But if he became a toe to toe player his crank would be a huge waste.

And I'd be sad.

Vasek. That's the answer to all the 'best <surface> to <surface> player" questions. Although I never see that guy hit any outsides, dragons, or xbd toes...

Who were you thinking of? I know Felix and Reni have hit it. Also, Olaf from Poland posted a video where he hits it, but the bad quality made it not possible to see if the surging was clean. Some guy from Hungary (Grek?) hit surging ducking motion, may be he's hit cheese processor too.. Anyway, I agree, pretty impressive...

To stay on topic : I never saw Kevin Regamey play, but I'm voting for Yves Kreil...

Honestly, I'd say I'm consistent with the repertoire that I've got...but my repertoire isn't that varied. I'd vote Michal.

(But I'll hit a toe beast soon) :D

edit: I'd also say that as far as North American players are concerned...I highly doubt that I am better than Jorden, or Seb, or Josh G.

Wow, it's preety cool to see my name on such a pool :). I have no idea how to vote, heh. Oh, by the way, we should add Stefan Siegert to this list.

PS. I'm planning some "Cod's special" movie in near future. I'll try to tape some nasty Toe stuff.

This will be good :D

Yeah, Lynton had some massive toe 2 toe moves, pity that he's kinda stopped freestyle.

Pssh, I'm the best toe to toe player. Now we can lock this thread.

Just kidding lol.

I think the best toe to toe player is Chris Pinkus because I just love watching him go at all his tricks.
