A footbag related video…

This time not one of my own productions but a professional one of a kind. It is a funny, short, Danish internet commercial and I am actually playing the guy called Roald. The website is also really funny but unfortunately in Danish. The whole clip is shot in one take and they transformed the bag to a paper-ball afterwards. The product is an Automatic GPS Driver log and you can win one, if you send in a clip with your self playing with a paper-ball!

I wasn't sure what 'igen' meant, but luckily(?) for me it played the video.

From a professional standpoint, that was really an amazing little video. From a non-professional standpoint, it gave me a really good laugh.

Thanks a lot for being involved in yet another well done promotion, and props to the DOP, editor & compositor(s).

I put it in the On Air gallery at Flipsider. I hope that's ok. Let me know if you can get ahold of an actual video of the thing, not just an SWF (like I nabbed from the website).

This video was shot under hard pressure. My stomach was acting like a leaking wash machine because I had some bad food the day before. So I was literally suffering from escremento espresso! And to make things worse I suffered from severe pain in my completely stiff neck, caused by too many hours of editing.

When I first heard about the whole thing (idea, manuscript, after-effects, etc.), I became a bit sceptical. I did not know if the idea was realistic or if it was funny at all. I glad that it went well and all involved were more than happy with the outcome.

I am aware that this kind of ass exposure can be too much for some people to witness, and I am really sorry if I offended anybody. On the other hand, I donâ€™t mind exposing my ass if it can attract some attention to our beloved phenomenon footbag. Actually, I think I would have done it no matter what just because I am a very childish and silly person.

I was actually a little disappointed that I could convince them to put that in the video too. Mentorâ€™s tail is a dirty unusual, but this trick sure gives you some attention in public.

by the way, I do not require uploads at flipsider to be Quicktime. The gallery just doesn't handle WMV very well, so bear that in mind. And to quote myself from about 5 minutes ago:

To put videos in the MT section (or anywhere else for that matter), you don't have to send me anything. Just login, then go to the Gallery (Tricks/Media sections) and click 'Your Album' (your own album will automatically be created in the Members Area). Then just 'Add Media', and send me a quick email so I know it's there. It's very easy to do. Thanks.

The only hitch is there is an 8 MB upload limit over http; nothing I can do about that. If you have something bigger than 8 MB, just email me and I'll tell you the best way to upload it.

Really nice spotted Skippy! I did not want to write anything until somebody noticed themselves.

One evening before the Danish Championships when Vasek, Honza and Dexter stayed in my place and I showed them the paper ball website. I translated most of the details for the guys and Honza seemed interested in winning the Auto log GPS (value 530 Euros). They will pick a winner every month among the video clips with most contacts. Pretty easy for a decent kicker.

Honza did 78 kicks and I guess he wins the price this monthâ€¦.unless somebody does more!

If somebody wants to enter the competition let me know. Iâ€™ll translate the rules in detail for you.
