It's hard to imagine Yonge and Dundas not being bright enough, with all the jumbo-screens surrounding it. I bet it's got more lights than it did a year ago. That place is starting to look like vegas, or Tokyo. NPS sounds like a good place too.

I'm up for playing both days. Post back or call me when you know whats up! Can anyone else play today?

Great going Mike!!! DATW is gold!

Taishi!

Of course, I'd love to see you there tomorrow!

To get to York U, go by subway to Downsview station, then take the bus to York. I think the bus route number is 106, but it will be easy to find at Downsview, there is an express to York.

Let me know if you can make it, maybe I'll call you in the morning.

:EDIT:
The rocket to Yorku is the 196. Take that one and you'll go straight to York from Downsview!

So I was just messaged by Andrew Langstaff, who just signed up to modified. He is a developing tiltless player who grew up near York U but currently lives in Oshawa and has never played footbag with experienced players.

Here's the interesting part. He is probably coming back to the city this weekend and we are trying to organize a Sunday shred session!

He says he will introduce himself to the FAT blog soon, but I just wanted to let everyone know it would be great if we could all show up to York for a noon-time session to show him what a great club FAT is.

Let me know if you can make it up to Yorku that day, Sunday the 17th for around 12:00!

Good session today with Greenwood and Taishi.

We played for about an hour and a half in the commons at York. Then Greenwood represented the bag at a hip-hop show. I'm not sure if Taishi performed as well or not, I missed them due to a smoke-break. :x Smoking finally taking something away from me.

Anyway, some personal highlights:

 Stepping ss Osis > rpt
 Ripwalk > Whirl > rpt
 3 Ripwalks b2b, personal record... I will hit 5 before one week from now.
 Both links for my sick 3, Atomsmasher > Paradon and Paradon > Spinning Butter
 DLO > Legbeater

Can't wait for KICKASS!

What's up Toronto?

At first glance of the footblog forum I read your title as Tomato footblog.

So who's going to kingston in two weeks?

Yeah, it's definitely raining today, and there are supposed to be thunderstorms tonight too. There is really no point in trying to play at Yorkville. We'll get kicked out of anywhere that's sheltered around there...

So do you guys just want to play at Ryerson? There are a lot of great spots inside to play. In fact, there is a great spot in the new business building, which is attached to the Eaton Center. I finish class at 6... If you guys want to meet at Yonge & Dundas, just outside the H & M, around 6:15, we can head to that spot and try to play there.

And then we can try to do the Yorkville thing another day...maybe this weekend.

Cool?

I'm leaving for class now, so Mike, I'll give you a call later to confirm.

FAT!!!!

Details to KICKASS2 are now posted on the first page of its thread in Journies and Tournies.

It looks like the Holiday Inn is the best place for us to stay, so! There are 2 double beds in a room, so we need to figure out who is staying with who if we want to split prices!

Let's get on this! Whoo!
