so yeah, brian bought the plane tickets to chicago for the new years jam.

we will leave december 27 (wednesday) at 8:16am from nashville's airport and get to chicago ohare airport at 10am later that day.

we leave chicago december 31 (sunday) at 6:40pm from chicago ohare airport...

so yeah, i guess we will ride the train over to the stop near zekes place. we will definately be bringing footbags to sell with us... no worries there. and we are down for throwing in on the suite. this time i think we will bring an air mattress rather than sleep on the floor.

zeke, did you say your apartment gets heat during the winter? lets just hope its not the same heat as earlier this summer

whats the weather like for you guys at new years, anyway? i think i remember a plane that was flying over the beach during midwesterns that said "enjoy chicagos 3 month summer!!! go to the lake!!" implying that you guys get really cold.

i had this crazy dream the other night about the new years jam

Chicago's usually really hot or really cold. It will be cold during New Year's Jam. Bring a coat. Last year was pretty mild Jeremy Mirken saw snowflakes - first time? But one year you couldn't stand outside for more than 30 seconds without your eyeballs freezing.

Hey Zeke,
I told Steve goldberg that u are a true master in 4_square so he challenges u to a game of four square.I played with goldberg and he thinks hes the master so i want u to take him on.

I asked him if he wanted to go to new years jam. Im not sure when NYJ is goin to be but he said he would go if it was the right day. He also told me he was hanging around with Vasek around that time so maybe vasek might come to NYJ. I dont want to start a rumor so dont get to excited and tell everyone everybody. Theres a good chance of it happening but theres a worse chance of it not happening so lets hoope for the best of luck.

Also if someone could give me a date or a estimate of when NYJ will occur

scott davidson told me via email that the dates arent set in stone but the 28th to the 30th are his hopes. that is in december for all you people that dont know when new years is

so that would make nyj from the last thursday to the last saturday of december. remember these ARENT set in stone. he said when the dates are final he will post the event on .org.

edit: i dont know the other guy but ive got $10 on zeke as 4 square master

Steve is good without you being able to tell. He doesn't do anything too fancy, but he can get the bag in the corners like a pro. Plus he screens pretty well.

I don't see that as a problem ... we had one last year.

Chicago represented very well ... I played the best 4square of my life in that tournament.

If I remember correctly it was me, Tom, Obed, Marty, Kamil and Reid in the finals... all from the city. Ried is the only one from the suburbs and does not play at Lane Tech HS.

I've won maybe 3 games out of all the 4square games I have played.
And winning didn't give me any sense of accomplishment ... however I still come back to play, because I enjoy playing.
Keeping a score just means I have to remember a number, instead of remembering someone else's score hoping they call the wrong one, so they can be out.

I just enjoy 4square. Allways a lot of fun with anyone in chicago, never gets really serious ... and if winning doesnt give me anything, then why try to win, instead of having all the fun i can have.
The last 2 times i've counted my score ... was NYJ and CSS, both times in a 4square competition ... so if their is something to win then I'll count my score.
