I had 2 sessions today, one before I left for school then another after I came home. About a quarter of the way into my 2nd session I had to bring my old Lesh out of retirement because my good floppy Peng probably can't take much more of the accidental abuse it gets

I need to find the patching tape and patch up the 4 holes that magically appeared on 2 panels (2 holes per panel).

1st session Highlights:
(this session was in laver's)

atomsmasher, multiple times, not in a row

2nd session Highlights:
(this session was in clima's)
(most of this session was with my old Lesh bag)

bubba bs, these two I worked on for quite awhile and I made a big
improvement!

alpine legbeater, lots of work on it to get it easier and more often
ripped warrior, lots of work on it as well, I now fully understand the last
thing Ken told me about doing them. Thanks Ken! Ohh yea

Well, seeing as no one replied to that last question I'm guessing I'm not one

Had a little shred, while my Dad and I checked out my Grandparents' place. The only highlight, spinning clip > spinning clip > spinning clip > drop on spinning clip. 3 spinning clippers

, I was hardly trying and was getting perfect sets on them aswell

. I might shred later on tonight, don't know!

Well, I just had a little session outside. First time I've kicked in quite awhile and my body told me that!

I didn't really work anything, the main reason for this was to get my sick 1 and sick on tape for the online comps!

Highlights:
Torquescrew, footed twice

fairy op dyno, came really close to hitting this today
alpine legbeater, twice
ripwalk > gybas > torque
fairy beater > gybas > torque
mirage > illusion > lo > illusion drop

Thats all I can remember, I was stoked when I decided to try torquescrew and got it first try. Then a couple of trys later got it again. It was KOOL!!
I'm getting together with part of the Unity Crew on fri to do some more kicking, I'm also gonna take my cam to take some footy as well!

Fri. 9/1 Kick with the Unity Crew

It was a GREAT day to shred!

We all meet up at Tempe Beach Park to kick. It was a warm day so we decided to kick under one of the 2 bridges there in the shade. The was 5 of us for awhile, Steve, Mike, Conrad, Nate and Myself. Steve was only there for probably 20 minute's or so then left. He did say he was gonna come back but never did.

Nate was doing his usual guiltless spinny stuff. He stayed for awhile, what Mike said was Nate's usual 1 - 1 1/2 hr's or so.

Conrad was probably the one person that really had everything clicking for him. After he warmed up he was hitting some really good runs. He kicked a couple of new tricks, pigbeater, fog and miraging pickup. Once he figured out eggbeater's he kept trying dlo > eggbeater and came close quite a few times.

Mike was doing the same thing he does. He hit flip eggbeater for the first time, and was getting stepping lo on his strongside more consistently. Towards the end of the session he got a 'thin' barfly, and was working on his toe blurs. He came very close twice with the bag hitting off his toe, He will be getting this next time we kick

Myself, was doing ok. My stepping seemed to be there and also my dynos. My fairy was on and off all day, I do belive I got fear > fear which is a combo I think is very stylee. My stomics started off slow, but it warmed up and I hitting alpine legbeater pretty consistently. I think I hit it 4 times that session

. I also had a couple of excellent looks at rev whirling swirl, the bag kept hitting off my heel, I'll have this trick soon

. For a couple of runs I was trying to get ripped warrior again, each time I tried I would either hit it with my neck or it would be in front of or behind my foot to actually complete the move. But when I hit it was BEAUTIFUL

, Mike said it was very clean, and how it felt clean to me. To finish of my new moves for the session I also hit, in my opinion, a very clean torquescrew. It felt great when I hit it. I came really close to hitting alpine atomsmasher and ducking dyno, Ken once I get that pretty consistent I'll try your challenge. I also got my flip swirl a couple of times

Onto the footy, I got some but it's not all that great. I'll post it when I get it done. Time to get it uploaded to my laptop.

Fri. 9-8

Had another GREAT shred session with part of the Unity Crew. Conrad, Mike, Nate nad myself were all doing good.

Nate was hitting some good tiltless and guiltless runs. He got a new trick that he really like now, I guess you could say it was a terraging rake.

Mike was hitting his usual. Lots and lots of long tiltless/guiltless runs. Latley he's been trying to hit toe blur and he just happened to hit it, not once but TWICE! Unforunately it was only one side, but he was getting close on his weakside. He alos got dso for the first time.

Conrad was really flowing today. Even at the end of the session he was hitting guiltless runs! He hit a couple of new moves but I can't remember what they are for some reason. He came up with a couple of drills the are really really hard; blurry clip > blurry clip rpt, stepping clip > blurry clip rpt. We where both feeding off of each other while doing these drills. It was a lot of fun. He also really liked his Munster bag that he got

, I'm pleased he likes it, it was also the first bag that I've sold

.

I was doing pretty good. I had a couple of decent tiltless and guiltless runs.

Highlights:
Ripped Warrior 2x; the second one was the cleaness one I've ever hit

Alpine legbeater 2x;these were on and off all day, it was weird.
Matador 3x; Throughout the seesion, I've come pretty close to hitting this before, but for some reason it actually working today

GYBAS 1x; my dynos were off on fri.

On fri. I went to the dentist to see about some pain I was having in the lower right part of my mouth. We get there (my Dad and I) and the first thing the Doc asks is if I want to just have the one part looked at (the hurting part) or all of my teeth. I tell Him all, then He says I'll have to get x-rays done, which they do right there so it was all good. I had to get 18 freaking x-rays, which I hated doing because they had to put the film thingy pretty far back in my mouth which made me want to hurl, I came pretty damn close too. Once that was over I was like thank GOD it's over. The Doc comes in and looks at the x-rays and looked in my mouth and did some scraping, not bad compared to the x-rays. So he goes and gets "scans" of something, them comes back and talks with me about the x-rays. He tells me that I have two wisdom teeth coming in and that there's NO room for them because of the other two wisdom teeth that are already there! So I now know what is causing the pain, which is a good thing. So, he told us that I need to go see an orthodontist about getting all four of them removed. Right when I heard that my mouth quit hurting and I was about to say that there was no pain, 'cause I don't wnat to have surgery! He gave us two referrals to two different place's for orthodontist's. While I was getting my teeth/gums cleaned my Dad had one of the ladies call both of the place's to see when I could get in the soonest (is this even a word?). The earliest I can get in is Mon. at 3:30. Which is kool because that means I get to miss my drawing II class. But then again I would rather be there instead of getting some sort of an examination and possible surgery

.

So if I the surgery does happen this week that means no footbag on fri. which would suck because we are having so much fun and all of us are averaging around two new tricks each session! But then again of it does happen then that means no more pain

.

Hope the surgery goes ok! Usual the wisdom teeth are no biggie. I am not trying to jinx you. I had mine out & recovered in a few days & only had to take the pain meds for one day. Hopefully we will see you Friday! Take care & see u later....

So here's what happened on Monday afternoon.

When we (Dad and I) got there, we had the usual million forms to fill out. Really that wasn't bad and I was expecting that. Got that done and not more than five minutes later, a young lady calls me back. The first thing that has to be done is an x-ray, becasue the x-rays from Friday aren't any good. So we get that done and we go back to another room. This is where She asks me a million and a half questions, and apperantly I've been the simplest one that day. After the questions she goes and tells me about the surgery and the anethesia thats going to be used. After all that, She left me a form to read over and initial every paragraph. I got done with that and then the Doc walks in and introduces himself. He seems like a really kool guy! He put up the x-ray and then "examines" it for a little bit. He then goes and tells me about the surgery and anethesia thats going to be used and what not. He also goes into how some of the roots could be in or around the sinus cavity and the nerve that's on the lower jaw for the chin and lower lip. After this He tells me that if the roots are in or around the sinus cavity, that it may cause them to accidentally puncture the cavity. But thats alright, if it does happen then He'll put a suture (sp?) on it and it'll be good. After all this, He leaves, and the young lady talks with me about what I need to do before the surgery, and touchs upon what I'll need to do afterwards. She then hands me the paperwork for the perscriptions I need to get before the surgery. I then go out and schedule the surgery. Next tuesday is the surgery, and I'll need to check in at 1:30. After we left, we went to the local Air Force base to see if they have the perscriptions I need. They do, and fortunatly we got there before they closed down for the day.

Well that's enough of that. I haven't kicked since fri. and I really haven't had the motivation to do so. Also my tooth has been hurting quite a bit so I don't really want to damage it anymore. I'll probably play fri. with the Unity Crew though.

I finished that bag yesterday that took over two weeks to do

. It came out pretty good. Needs a bit more kicking to loosen up the stitching then it'll be partly shreddable!

Here's one thing I forgot to mention;

When the Doc decided to take a look in my mouth, he saw that there was "UNITY" written on my shoes and asked what it meant. I was like HOLY CRAP!!!! Someone actually asked me about that, SWEET!!!! So I went ahead and told Him that it was for my footbag club, and right after I said the He gave me a weird look and said "Footbag? Whats that?" So I then tell Him that footbag bag is sort of like hacky sack, but footbag has tournaments and jams that we go to, and there are tricks that we do. He was like ohh ok, I know "hacky sack."

I don't know how I forgot to put that in there, ohh well here it is.

The Unity Club had a GREAT shred session today! Everyone was drilling for some odd off the wall reason

Well according to what the docs said to my Dad the operation went well. I didn't do much yesterday, and I'm planning on doing as little as possible today. I am feeling a hell'uva lot better today tho so I'm guessing thats a good thing. I really would like to kick on Friday with the Unity crew but I don't know if I will. Right now I'm doing alright, a slight headache, but thats from the pain killers, same thing happened yesterday. Hopefully I can get moving and I'll probably start working on the footage I have left from the farewell shred with Ken, and the footy I got of everyone down at Tempe Beach Park a couple of Fridays ago.
