bad clipper??
bad clipper??
im having some trouble with my clipper, its not the stall itself; i've pretty much got that nailed. its that whenever i bring the bag back up, it hits my chest/stomach a little. i think ive got the right positioning, i just think that i'm leaning over the bag too much, but idk. its never really been a problem, and i can recover from it, but i want to fix it now, so help me out plz.
Practice alternating clippers. Right clip > left clip > rpt. This will help with your sets and footwork.

Sounds like you need focused practice on setting the footbag straight up from clipper. How do you practice that? Simply by practicing your clippers, giving yourself a target to hit, and making the bag hit that target every time. Don't try to hit moves off your clipper if the set is not consistent. NBetter to practice setting well so that the moves you try from it later will be easier.
Once you can set a clipper fairly straight up, practice consecutive same side clippers to improve the straightness of your sets and fluidity btwn clippers.

I'm no expert, but I get my clippers to up straight by bending the support leg as I catch, and then, by pusing off (straightening) the support leg as I release the bag. Actually, I find this technique helps all my sets go straighter -even toe stalls.
Again, I'm not qualified to give advice. Maybe someone can confirm or deny that this is porper form.
