CANADA footbag jersey
I want this shirt too!!!!! MIKE! You're so cool!!! This is yet another wicked-awsome idea that I would very much like to support.
Yay Canada!!!
edit: I vote for the Soccer jersey style shirt. Red & White sounds pretty ill... maybe a white torso and red sleeves with a maple leaf on the chest (like the flag
) with a siluet of Jordan (in black) on the leaf would be super def. Name on the back is kindof a given, I think... I don't think that a number is reeeaaaallly necessary though. I'm sure that you & Mosher will (In Tom's words) "barf out some genius"
. I'll keep the faith!!
I would be willing to pay up to $100.00. Obviously it'd be sweet if you could bring the price down, but if 100 is what it takes, I'm still in.
way to go, dude

Be patient, Jon.
Well, Ontario seems to be on board (as well as a few stray Americans). What about the prairies, the coasts, Montreal players?
I could just go ahead and make some jerseys, and sell them to those interrested. So could anybody else, for that matter. What I really want to see is an OFFICIAL Canada jersey. By official I just mean something that all Canadian players recognize as THE uniform to wear to major competitions.
I think what we need is a complete list of Canadian players (especially those who compete or plan to compete), so we can figure out who wants to conform to a uniform and who doesn't.

Here's some quick mockups to look at- just to get the ball rolling. Please tell me what you like or don't like. I can easily mix and match elements form different designs, or create some new ones if we want to go in a different direction.

Hey, is that the footbag from the KICKASS2 logo?
I am so excited to have a jersey one day.
I want super fucking high tech with air vents and materials that wick away my sweat.
I will ONLY wear a jearsey that fits very well!!
I am rather particular about this and I believe that others may be too. It doesn't have to be tight to the body, it just needs to fit the torso well and not be flapping and loose.
There are many jerseys with these characteristics that we can make use of.
Either by some clothing distributor or through a public store.
I love how you have started thinking with these shirts Mike! Great job!

This looks like a good place to have create our jerseys. http://www.vcultimate.com/index.cfm Go to the bottom of the page and click on fabric technologies. Also check out the different styles, cuts and printing techniques that they offer. VC also makes jackets, shorts and hats (if we wanted to go over the top with full team Canada outfits). They're located in Toronto, so I'll try and arrange to go there and see the different styles and materials in person.

I hadn't though of including black in the jersey, but I really like it... thought it may be hotter than a white / red jersey in practical application. I'm not sure if the yellow or lime ones speak to me so much.
I think the Chan and Mosher jerseys are probably closest to what I had in mind personally, although if it were possible, I wonder if replacing that snowflake-like design with a footbag might look snazzy.
The Mosher jersey has what I might describe as a Euro feel. I like the big footbag logo, I feel it might be good to show some footbag element as well as the maple leaf. The front is sweet as well, though personally I would have the red all around instead of the yellow.
The stone man made me laugh too... he looks so awkward bending that way.
I looked at the fabrics and I think the CoolMax looks sweet! I don't mind pulling out all the stops on this thing!

My favourite front is the mosher one. However I am not really excited about the back of any of the designs. I am sure with some tweaks it will look awesome though.
I am a big fan of coolmax so that is pretty awesome that we can get jerseys made of coolmax.
As for original design of the jersey I am not a big fan of the hockey style jersey. I took a look at the site you pointed to and one of the jerseys that appelled most to was the executive:

I like the sleve strip alot. I am also some what of a fan of the collar.
Thoughts?

How about the 'footbag' design having a maple leaf logo on the pent? I think that would be smart and eye-catching if you work around the proper color contrasts.

Yesterday we were at the store and I found a sweet ClimaLite soccer jersey that is red/white/black and it fits SO perfectly.
I will show you it at KICKASS Mike.
I am planning on making it have cool screen printing on it, whether it be Team Canada or KFM or whatever.
I think "Team Canada" on it somewhere looks snazzy.
and footbag.. that should be there too.

I think it would awsome if the Jerseys were like the Climalite soccer jerseys, because they are so comfortable.Mosher wrote:I found a sweet ClimaLite soccer jersey that is red/white/black and it fits SO perfectly.
p.s I like the Mosher design of jerseys.
