if you care to actually read what i said without jumping to conclusions, you might notice i didnt say the original premise of the thread was bullshit. i as well appreciate the picture and the subsequent history it provides. but there isnt anything on this page, or most of the previous one, that has anything to do with the picture in the least. its just people trying to shine the spotlight on themself based on how long they have been alive. at least you had an interesting story behind it with an impressive picture to boot. if only you had the conversation-comprehension skills to match.

The funny thing is...I was wearing Topsiders, for they had flat toe boxes, and the sides were very nice as well. I went to mesh shoes at the 1991 or 92 worlds. Holy crap !!! Vegas Jam '98 !!! (actually took place in Feb. '99, but it was, if I recall, supposed to be the sequel to Vegas Jam '97, which was the sequel to Christmas Jam '96, but we just had the jam a few weeks later than the year before, and thus it was in early '99 instead of late '98 ) Thanks for posting those, Cameron. Brought back some funny memories. Canyon Hart ! (who's the tatooed guy standing next to him in that last picture? Did you know ? : Before I met Richard, it was so hard to come by real bags that we made our own. I still have the first bag from the BigToe Footbag Company, stitched by thomas carrol. Tom made my bags for the first three or four years I played freestyle 'with lavers'. Before that I had some flying clipper thing and before that a real brand name hackysack. Somewhere in there I had one of those twisted things.

....then I moved on to Sippa Sippas, one Summer day I met Richie Abshire down in Mission Beach in the early 90s, and that is when I knew I was kicking with the wrong Footbags. I have been using only Abshire Bags ever since, so that makes about 15 years for me.

I wonder who is the person who has the most Abshire Bags, and has played with them the longest??? I bet it is me, or I am a close second...lol.... Boy I wish I was younger though = less responsibility, and more time for Footbagging.
