training - onliest freestyler again, still I got some advice for steppings from chris. it didn't change anything tho, still my weakest set, even my fairy set is better..

tried some 'nuclear'..hit paradox tap both sides couple of times.
notiz: kraft aus'm standbein mitnehmen um das dexing bein hoch zu bringen und die hüfte rauszudrehen.
also got an advice from chris concerning this..taking power from the support leg to increase the speed of the dexing leg and so to say screw out of the set.

i forgot to stretch the front side of my thigh..i feel my legs demanding time to rest :)

played for ca. an hour yesterday
and, although i didn't hit a new trick nor improved any record or something like this, it was a good session.
you'r asking why? because it was the first time i didn't feel any pain while doing left clipper/stretching inside+no pain after playing. thanks to my anklebandage.

played twice/three times even?? since last post
as I'm playing all on my own, i found out having some drills/challenges as being very useful.
finally managed:
pixie legover>smear x2
convinced myself to do 10 handcatch sets of pixie/fairy both sides. funny thing, because i believe this is a good thing to do, still i did it for the 1st time today.

anyone reading this: please challenge me
can do pixie, atomic bs (good), fairy (weak) + need stepping help

as nobody is playing freestyle but me, it makes me happy that i can motivate a new friend of mine to shred with me.
his name is ferdi(nand), he is rather a circle kicker, but also interested in shred.
he has a good balance and is able to perform many tricks.
today he hit flail, symp whirl and whirling swirl (slurry delay tho). i hope that i can motivate him to join the club. still my happiness about this new shredder is slightly curbed because he'll be gone for the next 3 to 4 months :/

aw yeah: i got fired.

What about the Frankfurt freestyle crew from worlds?

There are around 10 players there I guess - all retired?

Given your need for stepping, how about:

stepping same side clipper (harder than sidewalk!)>ripwalk>[repeat]

I don't know if this is helpful for you at this moment; I read the first two pages of your blog 8O but not the last 2, so I don't know exactly where your game is at this point.

Anyways, good luck and tell us how it works out. GO!

*sigh* I want to visit Paris along the French Open, but as I am w/out job right now, I've got to be flexible concerning a possible start next month :( I would so love to travel to Paris mon dieu!!

todays train was ok
broke my butterfly record: 37x !!! :D
one string I remember was: legbeater>infinityx2>pdx mirage>pixie legover>symp mirage>legbeaterdrop
I officially hate stepping set from now on

 daryl

played on my own for about 1h/1.30h (something like this) at the Sportuniversity. Actually a cool spot, and although there are lot of halls, it seems to be in use most of the time. I hope that I'll find a spot there tomorrow again \o/
After that i went to a friend of whom i thought that he'd live closely by.. ha! wrong daniel! i misguided myself until i finally reached his place (long journey!).
I pedalled home from Heddernheim to Nied, which is quite a long way (>10km at least), quite proud of that, good for my knee =)

mirage>tap>atomsmasher bs
mirage>tap>legbeater bs
nothing special besides that

i declare this wednesday as bad..my legs felt like gum, unfortunately combined with a major lack of concentration.
magellan>plo x2
pedalled home from the university again. cool, but slow (yesterday obviously was more exhausting than i thought)

didn't play for a whole week :? still a little break wasn't the worst, i somehow appreciated getting a little distance from footbag. weird, somehow.

we had surprise guests in tonights training session, wally, julian and clemenz showed up and demonstrated some of their latest styles, clemenz is still busting hard.
i hit sumo strongside, paradox tap flipside more often, and felt some improvement with my atomics.
pixie muted clipper bsos twice (ok, dropped on last one *hehe*)

I'm sooo looking forward to the french open and paris \o/

yeah yeah, our club has a new president: Andi Wolf!
At yesterdays annual meeting it was also possible to convince the club of my idea of buying a new ghettoblaster, I'm responsible for it \o/

todays training, very nice!!
Not just that I had an interesting interview for a job as bartender at a huge cinema in a mall close to my district, although it was down to Stuff and me, Training was a blast tonite.
I was given an explanation in drifters.
(gotta write that down before I forget it *hehe*)
- The actual Dex is most important with drifters, the Stall comes at the end; Stall is the end of the motion
- Speed has to be taken from the support leg (little jump)
- Fast clipper plant (set)
- There is less need than i thought of focussing on the stall (shoveling), it comes with the motion

hit some drifters on my strongside, I had some trouble with my flipside, as the dexing was very hard for me to understand, not to speak of my disastrous clippers tonight :D

one run with plo b2b, probably more than 5 plo in same run
i love my atomic set, legbeater bsos feels like nothing
some longer runs with some 3's and 4's in it, my string length is still below my level, gotta focus on playing instead of just busting different tricks but dropping after 4 or 5 contacts

all in all: looking forward to wednesday, hopefully having a session with stuff that day.

7 days till paris - travelling to a city i wanted to visit for so long.

Nice drifter advice, I can't wait to try it with shoes!..

On a side note, what are the chances of you being able to travel to Mainz to shred?

pixie muted clipper & atomic muted clipper bsos in one run
my flip illusion sucks, tried to train it a little bit

as i am playing on my own for some time now, i figured out that it is good to have some proposed combos. which means:
i need some drills, challenge me!!
