Alright, I've taken a good look into my finances, and chances are that I definitely can't show up to this NYJ. I'm spending a lot of money going to KICKASS, and then there's the trip to Ithaca, NY for Ken Somolinos' jam.

Most of the expenses are being held liable by my parents as it is, plus college tuition. I don't want to burden them anymore with my wild and crazy adventures for footbag. Plus, I have a feeling that I want a relaxing New Years at my home state.

I'll be more than happy to sponsor a bag for the event if you guys want me to. Just shoot me a PM and we'll settle some biznatch.

on the footbag.org event listing for this event the hyatt has rooms for cheap. $75 a night. brian and i are thinking about reserving one and letting footbaggers share the room with us if they help pay the cost.

Wow!

There is all this posting about the event that hasn't been thoroughly planned yet. Scott has got the venue and the dates. Zeke, Reile and I will be organizing the rest: events, hotel rooms, food, hype, players, fun stuff etc.

Please please stop posting things such as: "Scott posted _____ on footbag.org." That post is like 5 years old, and always says the same thing. If you have questions post here, or PM me or Zeke (CIC flurry or Zeke).

Also, I may start a new thread or somehow try and get control of this one in order to post updates on everything including atendees on the first post.

3 months away - I'm glad to see so much excitement already!

P.S. Peter Irish may be coming!

oh, you mean like i did, and then it got deleted because this one had more posts. Yea tom, thats a good idea, but run it by the mods first, they might not think its such a great idea.

i didnt post this thread so then someone could say it sucks and there needs to be a new one. i posted this thread because people outside of chicago have to make plans and buy plane tickets as soon as they can. it was more for convenience.

for sure cic needs to be the ones keeping the thread updated... i didnt think this thread was going to be official info or anything. i was just trying to get an idea of who was going to be there rather than be bashed for the name of the thread, for it being posted earlier than the other one, or for saying the name "scott davidson". i dont live in chicago so you shouldnt have expected my post to be the official nyj listing.

so tom i dont care what you do. youd be way better to keep things updated because youre part of the planning. i just posted the listing because i was surprised no one else had.

and kid... get over your post being merged. it wasnt a personal shot at you. it was merged for convienience and because your thread was posted later. i dont care who has control over the first post on this thread... or any thread for that matter. i dont represent modified so no harm no foul.
